OJ, my cable only gets the CBC and CTV news channels (apart from the two business channels), and this Sunday morning, wanting some info on the Iraq crisis, tried to watch the CBC and CTV channels. No luck. Pure anti-Trump propaganda, and I could only watch 10 minutes of the two putrid channels. I have been too cheap to order FOX News, but after this morning’s experience I will go ahead and order it.

        Faux is as full of shit as CNN, MSNBC, CBC etc……it has an agenda just like they do. If I’m around a tv set I will watch Fox. I know I’m being spun but I think if I take in enough news from different sources I can reasonably come to some conclusion that might be close to being accurate…..except when it comes to the Middle East, then nobody has a clue except those in the ME.

    1. I’ve dealt with both very often as my wife is a US resident and I’m always back and forth. On the whole, I have found the US CBP agents much friendlier than those on the Canadian side. I’m always straight with them which is a good idea when crossing any border. The CBSA is an armed tax collection agency. Of course, I’m only really dealing with the one Port of Entry and they are Minnesotans.

  26. Blackie’s CBC discussed the situation on its Political Scrum show this morning. And of course when the CBC wants to discuss important foreign issues it brings in a whiny indian as a panelist. She explained that indian resources should not be used by Canadian troops to help Trump kill brown and black people in the Middle East. This is because of course all resources in Canada belong to indians and we must get their approval first. They also discussed how Trump’s actions will cause further Islamophobia in Canada when Canadians are already racist bastards. Oh and they agreed that Blackie is doing a wonderful job in his response to the crisis. Blackie is wonderful.
