  1. I don’t think the vote by parliament is binding on the executive. Abdul Mahdi is stepping down, so will he go through on this?

    1. They’re only asking. 6000 troops, who cares one way or the other. Hit them from afar when they let the terrorists prevail.
Let China have all Iran’s oil or let them fight it out with Europe Ensure safe passage of commerce. Leave it at that.
But, US citizens must take note, their risk goes up without leverage. It’s not a simple thing, the troops just leaving.
As for Iran, as Eric Holder advised, when they go low, you kick ’em.

“In sum, a weaker Iran foolishly positioned itself into the role of aggressor, at a time of a shot economy, eroding military strength, waning terrorist appendages abroad, and little political leverage or wider support. China and Russia are confined to hoping the U.S. is somehow, somewhere bogged down. Europe will still lecture on the fallout from canceling the Iran Deal, but quietly welcomes the fact that Iran is weaker than in 2015 and weaker for them is far better. China wants access to Middle East oil. Russia has never objected to a major producer having its oil taken off the world market. Moscow’s Iranian policies are reductionist anti-American more than pro-Iranian.”

  2. Exposing the Iraqi puppet regime of Iran and ending the Iraqi war while knocking out top agents of the Ayatollah and drawing out his leftist enemies love for a terrorist state.

The first week of 2020 isn’t over yet.

  3. The fact that the US can reach out and whack these terrorists has to be a huge deterrent.I expect if a fly goes by some these thugs there will be significant Puckering of certain body parts

  4. Excellent.

Remove our military, our military equipment, our contractors, our aid money, our infrastructure, and all our assistance. Time to get out of Iraq and let it stand on its own.

  5. Can’t say no to that request. Let them enjoy the never ending Sunni vs Shia war. It’s just so nation building finding a new dictator.

  6. President Trump has figured out that when the globalists say to do one thing, the wise ruler does the exact opposite.

The same people who dragged the United States into the Iraq quagmire are now begging him not to attempt to neutralize the Islamic Republic—because one day they want to go to “a free Iran” on holiday. (Really.)

Give the mullahs 24 hours, no more, to unconditionally surrender. If they will not do this, saturate Iran with the current generation of atomic weapons, destroying its cities along with its petroleum infrastructure.

Leave the rubble as a warning to others.
Tell the Chinese that if they want to “rebuild” Iran from the ground up, they are more than welcome to try. They need Iran’s oil much more than the United States does.

Blowing a mosque to atoms is a war crime? No. It’s called war. You destroy the abominations the savages build on hillsides so that they realize that their idols cannot save them, and will surrender faster.

A few may even accept that the God of Israel is the one God, turn to Him, and be forgiven.

    1. Umm, while your thoughts are utopian, they are not realistic.

      Nuking Iran is stupid.

Because if you nuke who will be alive to accept that God of Israel and be forgiven?

Come on, you don’t know your Bible. Iran (Persia) is one of the countries that will attack Israel in the end times, along with Libya, Ethiopia, Gomer, Push and so on.

The power of the US is not HAVING nukes, it is not USING them.

      Big difference.

But I’m surprised for a Christian to say that.,

For now, the smart thing is surgical strikes and economic blockage.

  7. Within eighteen months of the US Military withdrawal, expect the latest reincarnation of the Muslim Brotherhood/ Al Qaeda/ ISIS/ Daesh to reappear in the Sunni Crescent and begin slaughtering religious minorities, Sunni Kurds, Shia Iraqis, and anyone else they deem not haram and holy enough. The slaughter will cross into Syria, Lebanon, and maybe Jordan (Erdogan’s Turkey too?). Blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda… We have already seen this same sh–show two or three times previously.

When it happens, watch the criminals and corrupt criminal governments (Turkey and Syria) smuggling oil. That is what finances the fanatics and buys their weapons and mercenary supporters. The corrupt government leaders are too stupid to realize their own greed is financing their doom.

    1. “Within eighteen months of the US Military withdrawal, expect…”

Yes. The Shiites couldn’t deal with Sunni Saddam, the U.S. invasion did and put the Shia in the drivers seat.
Then none of the governments in the region could deal with ISIS, so the U.S. under Trump fixed that problem too. Who’s next?
Who is gonna try to erect a Caliphate in Baghdad? The 13th Imam?

      1. Like a lot of the “narrative” on Syria/Iraq/Iran from the western media, the notion that Trump is responsible for the demise of ISIS is mostly a fabrication. The US/Kurds gave ISIS free passage from the Raqqa pocket, and then lied about the number of fighters they let go. The reason they did this was because the SAA/Russian/Hezbollah alliance was making rapid progress against ISIS down the west bank of the Euphrates heading towards the Deir Ezzor oil fields.

By area certainly, and probably by the sacrifice of men, the SAA alliance did more to eradicate ISIS then the US alliance.

  8. Yeah Tim, if you haven’t figured it out yet, very little is an “accident”, when it happens around Trump. Keep trying though.

  9. The Iraquis couldn’t welcome the Americans enough when ISIS took over 3/4 of their country. Most of them cannot get along with their Iranian benefactors either. Shia in Iraq hate the Saudis. Life has to be tough. Maybe the Turks will help. We all know that the Euros won’t send any troops.

I am buying more oil stocks on Monday as now Iraq oil production is ready to drop. Last I saw it was 3.5 to 4 million boe a day. Laughable.

    1. I’m not sure about buying stock.

Because of the on going oil glut, it’s price seems pretty much decoupled from mid-east stupidity. Currently WTI sits at $63 (about the same small bounce was when they attacked that Saudi refinery).

I suspect was nothing much continues to happen the price will settle back down.

  10. EXCELLENT!

Trump wanted out before the recent fireworks so now he can smile, get U.S. people & equipment out and ‘comply’ with the political wishes of the local government – a win for them and a win for Americans. There are plenty of U.S. assets still in the region and very capable of rapid responses from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, 2 carrier groups, and the Diego Garcia air base in the Indian Ocean.

Trump promised “No more nation building – we’re just going to kill terrorists.” Another promise made and kept. KAG!

  11. I just hope the U.S. withdraws its embassy as well – take away the troops, the Shiite militias will come back and try to sack the U.S. Embassy again.

At least this time, Soleimani won’t be leading them.

    1. Very curious as to why the US Embassy in Iraq is situated on 104 acres, 10 times larger area than its next closest US embassy footprint in any other country.

Read that it was a hub of a lot of goods being moved all over the world from there. What are those “goods” and who is making the money on those transactions? Just a bit of hmmmmm…

      1. Why is it larger? Larger footprint means broader field of fire. Easier to defend.

  12. Yes please, let’s leave and bring our troops home. Not one of these camel jockeys is worth an American life!

  13. Remember even General MadDog was against leaving this area. So much so he “retired” his position as Defence Secretary. I kept wondering, when that asshat general was “blowed up real good” if this was Trump’s way of getting out of the middle east without the deep state asasinating him.

If your host asks you to leave, be polite and grab your jacket, put on your Welly’s and leave with a smile on your face.

Kind of cool using your own adversaries to achieve your own goal eh?

  14. this is a mix of wishful thinking and armchair analysis and careful consideration of patterns, but jeezuz murphy,
*did POTUS Trump factor in THIS [possible] response?* did he? hooooley jamloooley !!!!
BRILLIANT !!!!! kill one of the most perniciously evil heads in the area and get uninvited in a matter of days.
    man oh man oh man.
again, wishful thinking, armchair and thoughtful analysis all in one but woka woka woka.

    yeeeeeeeeeeeeHAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!

and remember, an overriding constant factor looking @ the ME is that shite and sunnot muzzies
hate each other more than they hate da jooooos.
looks like the Donald is exceptionally aware of this.

  15. Good, withdraw troops. Then glass the rest.

Moving troops to independent Kurdistan and recognizing it would be cool too.

  16. I wouldn’t worry about it too much meat eaters…..if it comes to a fight, the vegans can barely make a fist, let alone throw a punch. They’ll be pulverized, and their soy-created man boobs will be facing the sky in short order.
