  1. Hey there buckaroos and buckerettes how about a little xmas music.

Now you gals know you wanna cowboy for Christmas cuz as Chris said, “I can tell you never had one for your own”, so here’s your wish list wrapped up in a song.

Lindsay Ortega doing, ‘All I want for Christmas is a Cowboy’.

      1. Haha good one NR.

I referenced Chris Ledoux, ‘ What you gonna do with the Cowboy’ in the quote

    1. Well I’ll be! Some buckaroos want a cowboy for Christmas too?

I asked Mrs Claus about it and she said she it sounded strange but what harm could it do?

So there you have buckaroos and buckerettes everybody gets a cowboy for xmas….

      1. What? Now Santa!!
Sorry Santa but with all due respect, you are incorrect. Is all the work up there getting to be too much for you? Sure it is.

The call was for some Xmas music from the buckaroos, that’s all! In this case, the cowboys were strictly intended for the gals!

We understand you because “Baby its cold outside”especially up there! Merry Christmas, Santa!

        1. With all this blowback Santa has decided that buckaroos will get a cowboy Ken doll that looks like bongo. That should keep ’em happy.

Santa loves ‘Baby it’s Cold Outside’. Best boy/girl duet ever. Ray Charles and Betty Carter- you know what their thinkin’.

    1. It took her ONE DAY to put herself in the same club as other time covers of the year winners. Hitler, Stalin, Kohmeini. One freaking day.

Crazy kids these days are always in such a rush to commit their first genocide.

Seriously what psycho is handling young Gretanakin.

    2. Execution? Perhaps she meant let us “corner our Leaders?”
Could something have been lost in the translation?
Pretty cheeky of her handlers, nevertheless.

      1. That is my understanding, Nancy.

If they can at all be trusted, her ‘handlers’ claim that in her native language, the term refers to making people responsible for their actions, not executing them.

If they can at all be trusted….

      1. Many years ago, I was out of work with no end in sight. Someone who used to be a friend of mine suggested that there would be an endless bounty if all nuclear weapons were abolished, dismantled, or destroyed.

I’m still waiting for my share of the cornucopia.

I said “used to be a friend” because I finally cut my ties with him because of his communistic views. He’s been an ordained Lutheran minister for more than 35 years. No wonder the church is in such sad shape.

      2. The mere fact that the UN thinks in this fashion with respect to individual citizen disarmament is frightening. If the actions of UN troops lately (rape and murder) in various areas of the globe is a concern, consider what they could undertake if everyone is disarmed.

    1. Just creepy. ” the Canadian Anti-Hate Network” sounds like something right out of Nazi Germany. What to do to wake Canadians up about where the country is headed?

  4. Hey, Kenji, Leicester is now ten points adrift. But still, next Saturday in the City-City matchup, I’ll root for a draw first, then a Manchester City victory over Leicester City. To finish off the first round robin, Leicester has (or should have) clear sailing outside of Manchester City. But Manchester City still have four matches (three to finish the first round robin, and one to begin the next one) consecutively against teams all in the top nine: Arsenal, Leicester City, Wolves, and Sheffield. And MC’s record against the other teams in the top 9 has been dismal: L Liverpool, W Chelsea, L ManU, L Wolves (first round robin), D Tottenham.
Of course, the first match of the second round robin will pit Leicester City against visiting Liverpool. Whatever happens with the City-City matchup, but especially if it was drawn, a Liverpool win would pretty much put the EPL title to bed.
P.S. I love Norwich City. They lose big to Liverpool but took five points from MC and LC. I hope they escape relegation. For that, there is still a long season ahead.

  5. With all the murders and persecution of Christians this “Holiday” season, Blackie’s CBC has a story on how wonderful the gay Jesus Christmas special is. But please, no satires about Islam, the CBC doesn’t allow that. And the media reminds everyone that it is the Holiday Season not the Christmas Season. Don’t offend your muslim neighbours with your infidel religion.

  6. Cosmic Ray’s reach record high as solar activity nears space age low.

Radiation levels have been increasing almost non-stop since the Earth to Sky Calculus monitoring program began, with the latest flights (Dec 2019) registering the highest levels of all.
CRs hitting Earth’s atmosphere have been found to seed clouds (Svensmark et al), and cloud cover plays perhaps the most crucial role in our planet’s short-term climate change.

“Clouds are the Earth’s sunshade,” writes Dr. Roy Spencer, “and if cloud cover changes for any reason, you have global warming — or global cooling.”

  7. Blackie’s CBC continues to rant today that racism is running rampant in hockey. And the CBC reminds everyone to watch their Political Scrum show this morning, as the Unifor journalists discuss that Scheer should be replaced with someone from Quebec who supports abortion, global warming scams, and homosexual sex.

    1. I guess that explains why Grant Fuhr and Jarome Iginla were reviled in Edmonton and Calgary. Oh wait, they weren’t reviled, they were damn near universally adored.

  8. True North reports on the meeting between the Liberal premier of Nova Scotia and China as they discussed mutual cooperation.

    1. The last 2 ex-Liberal Premiers of New Brunswick spend a lot of time in China also.

      With some fellow named Chretien.

Maybe the Irvings are selling New Brunswick.

I’m sure being Canada’s only bilingual province is a very attractive feature.

Or so the Government and Media continually us.

      Liars.

      1. I believe China has been cultivating Canada as a satellite protectorate. Chretien (previously Mo Strong) and various Canadian politicians are assisting the process. Canadians should be alarmed, but they are not paying attention, and won’t pay attention until this evolves into a crisis/confrontation with the US, as it inevitably will. Mislabeling Chinese steel as Canadian is just a small sample of the kinds of thing that will come into play. This is a dangerous game.

  9. The longest climate talks ever, end in failure. The talks were to be held in Chile, but due to civil unrest there, the talks were changed to Madrid.

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/cop25-un-climate-summit-madrid-1.5397056

Helen Mountford from World Resources Institute, an environmental think-tank , said the talks “reflect how disconnected country leaders are from the urgency of the science and the demands of their citizens in the streets.”

In apparently unrelated news (keeping in mind “the demands of their citizens in the streets”) …

With Chile’s inequality gap still unsolved, last month the protests were back, this time in greater strength and more violent, causing Piñera to send soldiers into the street and call off two major global summits scheduled for Chile for the end of this year: the annual leaders summit in mid-November of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation and the December meeting of COP25, the annual United Nations climate change summit. “When a father has problems, he must always put his family before all else,” Piñera said in late October in announcing the cancellation of the international conferences to focus on restoring “public order, security, and social peace.”

    https://foreignpolicy.com/2019/11/23/chile-upheaval-protests-model-muddle-free-market/

“Climate blockers” like the USA, Saudi Arabia, Australia (?), China and India just don’t want to pay for climate change. And Canada? Canada’s energy sector wants their new LNG exports to count as carbon credits (hahaha – nice try) while Canada’s new environment minister says no, “emission reductions targets [will be achieved] through domestic cuts, not by relying on credit-trading” (as they should be).

The whole thing has been punted into 2020, leaving climate crusaders such as Great Thunberg stark raving mad and chanting “off with their heads”.

    1. And Trump won to a large degree on the blue collar vote. In Alberta blue collar workers are the Conservative’s best supporters. Nothing in common with whiny teachers, nurses, and civil servants. All the blue collar unions folded because the socialists in charge sent their jobs to China.

      1. Many blue collar workers are going the way of the dodo. Automation does not care about your vote, so in the long term this is a losing alliance.

” the socialists in charge sent their jobs to China.”

No, free markets did. Socialists tried to stop that. Thankfully they mostly failed.

  10. An excellent article in the NP about the process the CPC must embark on.

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/np-view-pick-a-philosophy-first-then-a-leader-conservatives?video_autoplay=true

“Stephen Harper ran as a libertarian but then too often governed as a liberal, then wrote a book endorsing populism, which apparently means praising liberty while expanding government. But before getting too cunning, the Tories should reflect that, far from creating a natural conservative majority by incremental stealth, Harper lost in 2015 in a way that left his party struggling to make any sense at all, including on deficits.”

EDIT: there’s also an excellent superb comment in the comments section “If the Conservative party wants to succeed it needs to get out of the nostalgia trap the right has fallen into. We’re not going back to a small town white picket fence world of white people. We’re not going back to coal, giant steel mills and heavy industries.
    We’re not going back.
The Conservative party needs to figure out what conservatism looks like in the 21st century and develop policies that address 21st century realities and will appeal to the young, urban voters of the future. Until it does that it has no future.” -null null

Interestingly that nostalgia trap was Corbyn’s main move.

    1. Yes, Math, families, property rights, limited government, balanced budgets, free speech, respect, common sense, self-reliance,hard work etc, etc, etc, are just so old-fashioned.

      Pity.

Could someone please stop the Liberal Invaders from bringing their shit-holes with them?

We have enough homegrown self-hating Liberal excrement heads.

  11. Glenn Greenwald on the IG Report:

“JUST AS WAS TRUE when the Mueller investigation closed without a single American being charged with criminally conspiring with Russia over the 2016 election, Wednesday’s issuance of the long-waited report from the Department of Justice’s Inspector General reveals that years of major claims and narratives from the U.S. media were utter frauds.

Before evaluating the media component of this scandal, the FBI’s gross abuse of its power – its serial deceit – is so grave and manifest that it requires little effort to demonstrate it. In sum, the IG Report documents multiple instances in which the FBI – in order to convince a FISA court to allow it spy on former Trump campaign operative Carter Page during the 2016 election – manipulated documents, concealed crucial exonerating evidence, and touted what it knew were unreliable if not outright false claims.”

    https://theintercept.com/2019/12/12/the-inspector-generals-report-on-2016-fb-i-spying-reveals-a-scandal-of-historic-magnitude-not-only-for-the-fbi-but-also-the-u-s-media/

    1. Glenn is being a fabulist and liar yet again. There’s no evidence the FBI targetted the Trump campaign for special treatment. The issues are likely a systemic issue resulting from the fact that FISAs are rubber stamped and not challenged in court.

The FBI’s demonstrated problems do not make this president any less of a criminal. And he is a criminal.

      1. “There’s no evidence the FBI targetted the Trump campaign”

My God man, are you an effing retard.

  12. Blackie’s Globe and Mail reports that whiny indians are taking the Trans Mountain pipeline to court again.

    1. At some point the courts should start asking for $100 million deposit to cover the pipeline costs of delays. And these case should be appealed to the Supreme Court so the Indians can lose some to slow them down. By not appealing bad precedent is being set.

  13. Blackie is finally taking an interest in our military. As part of his mandate letter our No Defence Minister has to have 25% of the military personnel female.

  14. Low temperature records.
A few years ago I read of Environment Canada contracting Nav Canada to upgrade all the “Weather Stations they installed in the 1990s.
Turned out the platinum resistor temperature sensing systems could not record temperatures less than -40C.
If they were calibrated for the winter season at all.
Canada is in a winter freeze and I notice the temperatures are all above -35C.
As I no longer trust anything that “Environment Canada’s Science” says, I just tried googling the temp sensing system being currently used and its calibrated operating range.
    Anyone know any good sites?
