  1. He really must know what he’s doing, surviving in Alaska wilds on his own. I have always been impressed by how many ways nature can kill you in Alaska – aside from starvation.

  2. Cold kills. It has a hundred ways and then a hundred more ways to take you out trying to contend with it.

If you can find a way to stay warm you can deal with most anything including finding something to eat

  3. The Alaska reality shows are among the few bits of entertainment that I make a point of watching on tv. However, lately there has been an annoying trend by the participants to throw in comments about climate change. I’m sure they don’t believe it and, no doubt, receive orders from the network honchos to promote the fraud.

  4. I subscribe to Joe Rogan podcasts. Some episodes are really great others not so much. I spend a lot of time in a truck so quality content is essential.
For right-wingers I also recommend theZman podcast & The Myth of the 20th century.

  5. Halfway through it and it’s everything I thought it would be and more.
The tale of 20 wolves on the frozen lake had me on edge – wow!
Him and I agree on one thing…bear meat. Now I won’t disparage anyone who eats bear meat, you do you, but like Glenn said, viewing the contents of a bear’s stomach and observing what they eat in the wild should give you pause. For the same reason I guess why people don’t eat Turkey Buzzards.

    Anyways…fascinating!
