    1. For what it’s worth, Rogers Communications is emailing subscribers asking them to grade their services. The questionaire allows for user-supplied input. For those who still subscribe yo this corrupt company (before one changes providers), please state you are dissatisfied with Rogers, and ask the morubund company to apologize to Don Cherry. Oh, and don’t forget to drop Rogers.

        1. Some 20 years ago, Rogers had a pay-as-you-go cell phone service with Radio Shack being its agent. The account was short-term up to a period of a few months, renewable by buying a new card. At first, it was a case of “use it or lose it”, but, later, one could carry over any unused time.

          One time, Rogers goofed up and I lost that remaining time. I finally got those restored after I complained because it was the fault of the company and the munchkin I spoke with accepted my explanation.

          It happened once more and, this time, I lost it for good. Rogers told me “tough luck, mate”, after which I threw the phone against the wall. I never owned or used a cell phone after that.

    1. Paul Martin’s team went after Jean Chrétien. But Conservatives love to have internecine fights.

      Having said that, Scheer and his advisors weren’t well prepared. Justin knew his lines and could deliver them. Because Scheer wasn’t ready to smoothly deliver his lines, the media pounced.

    2. Questions on abortion, gay marriage, Scheer’s dual nationality, etc. should have been anticipated, and Scheer should have been able to give smooth forceful responses.

      2. I think his answers were fine. In fact the claim that his personal views do not affect party policy is exactly the same line used by Justin when asked to reconcile his views on abortion and his Catholicism. The problem is the media hounding him about these non issues. I don’t think anyone cares about Scheer’s views on gay marriage or his marching in gay parades. (Well, homosexuals and leftists might care, but they were not voting for him anyway.) The media looks for vulnerabilities in Conservatives in contexts where Liberals are often given a pass. Part of it is also the anti-religious attitude that is favoured these days. Attacking Christian views is fair game for the media pundits and Conservatives are vulnerable on this — not because of Scheer, but because many conservatives also are anti-abortion and do not support gay marriage. Personally, I respect that Scheer has not sold his soul in the way that Justin clearly has. I do not believe Scheer is losing much genuine support because of this.

      I remember when da liddle thief went after John Turner. He made no bones about it – he wanted to be prime minister and he knifed Turner. The fight was covert and for the most part internal out of the public’s eye.

      After 3 majority governments chretien himself was taken out. He had it coming.

      Conservative’s on the other hand engage in open internecine warfare. Because they never coalesce around power like libranos they form disparate groups that seek to destroy each other.

      These public battles seldom elicit confidence in voters and so conservatives rarely form power federally. They also allow the libranos to join the spectacle and fan the flames.

  6. And now Blackie’s CBC this morning. Story that thousands of union protesters showed up to denounce Hitler Jason Kenney. Story that the new deputy leader of the Conservative Party is homophobic. The alphabet people are upset. Story on the persecuted teachers in Ontario. Doug Ford is Hitler. And later this morning, the CBC’s political scrum will explain that Scheer needs to be replaced with a muslim, black, lesbian in a wheelchair, who has nice hair and wears funny socks. Blackie’s loyal, drooling media continues to ignore that Blackie is in hiding. They avoid any negative stories about their hero.

  7. Blackie is going to be making a nasty phone call to his Toronto Star propaganda machine. The Star website has a story on communist China holding a cocktail party for municipal mayors in British Columbia. The story obviously was missed by Liberal Party censors. Of course it was in B.C. so the mayors probably saw cock in the word and misunderstood what it meant.

  11. CTV’s “The Social” is at it again. Post Millennial website reports that the co host on the program wants Christmas Parade replaced with Winter Parade. Perhaps they should rename the show “The Socialist”.

  14. Awhile back we listened to some Mose Allison cuts here. ‘Your mind is on vacation but your mouth is working overtime’ was one of the tunes.

    A new tribute CD featuring his music has been released by various artists titled ‘If your going to the City’.

    Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, Jackson Browne and Elvis Costello are a few of the musicians who contribute to the project.

    Mose never had ‘star’ recognition but he was highly respected by by musicians and artists.

  15. This is a lady running for UK parliament that is being shut down by the UK courts for calling an MP a coward and a traitor 5 months ago about the muslim takeover of the UK. This video was taken after the London bridge stabbing last Friday and the cops are still running around trying to figure out the motive of the jihadi. If the citizen heroes hadn’t stopped this POS he would have stabbed lots more people as the useless cops and courts allowed this muslim to carry on his personal jihad.

While Canada’s bought and paid for Unifor media have been singing the praises today about how wonderful Freeland is regarding the new NAFTA deal, Breitbart reports that her Democrat house leader buddy is putting the deal on hold. This is because the house leader and a large number of Democrats are heading for the global warming scam conference in Madrid. One of the topics will be for wealthy countries like Canada to be taxed and the money sent to third world shitholes to help them adapt to global warming. I’m sure Blackie will have Climate Ken agree to that.

      I never figured out how Day-0 made it into professional sports? Last summer I was listening to a beisbol game and Day-0 blasted out through the stadium sound system. The announcers launched into questions wondering where it came from and what its association to beisbol was. They appeared unaware of the origin but their questions were legitimate.

      Another dock song that I do like is ‘Pay me my Money Down’. It is an American Negro stevedore work song. The Boss knocks it outta the park.
