  1. Scheer’s National Crisis will be when WEXIT starts taking some of the 102 seats in the west like the BQ have taken Liberal seats in Quebec. Liberal and Con Commies will be Rumps.

    1. If Canada dies, and it will, nobody will deserve more credit than the Canadian Media.

I have watched many elections, and most if not all, have been hijacked by the Media.

This latest theft in plain sight, the re-election of the Toronto-Quebec Liberal Party, has clearly shown the dysfunction, the corruption and the complete lack of integrity of the country, its institutions, the Media and of course, always at the center of the malignancy, the Toronto-Quebec Liberal Party.

Trading your lifestyle straight up for the third worlds.

Liberals lying, and stealing from you for the benefit of Quebec, downtown Toronto and the rest of the world.

You are so generous, the Quebec-Toronto Liberal Party just can’t wait to increase your Climate-Stupid Tax!
      Again and again and again……….

      1. It is not the media’s fault. When you have been lying, and pushing an agenda with a supreme and singular focus for decades (if not an entire century), the blame lays entirely on the people who still listen to you.

Just like it was never Bill Clinton’s fault, it was always the people willing to continue looking the other way. It was never Weinstein’s fault; it was the actresses, and actors, and producers, and money people who kept feeding him.

We need more people who willing to simply stand up and say “Flint, Michigan; you voted for lead in your drinking water. Change what you vote for, or STFU.”

        1. “It is not the media’s fault. When you have been lying, and pushing an agenda with a supreme and singular focus for decades (if not an entire century), the blame lays entirely on the people who still listen to you.”

Whether an uncurious, bought-and-paid-for, servile media is more responsible for the current state of affairs than the uncurious, bought-and-paid-for, servile electorate it purports to serve is a chicken-egg argument.

          1. Good one!

Although I do think that the last days of oppression are upon us, and that Rosie Barton and her ilk are pretty much irrelevant.

  2. WEXIT causing job losses says Calgary Economic Development CEO Commie. No mention of bad Government Policies over taxation, over regulation, attacks on oil and gas by Foreign Funded Groups who have been buying off greasy politicians and Indians to oppose development. Canada the Fake Country going down the tubes. The CRISIS has all been caused by Governments. Run by Idiots. Voted in by Idiots. Reap what you have sown. Be sure and read the comments section on this CBC article on Alberta.
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/wexit-pipeline-delays-hurt-alberta-reputation-1.5379203

    1. Based on the comments, the Left in central Canada sure believe their flatulence is an Airwick product.

    2. Yes read the comments and then ask yourself if things are going to change regarding us in the west and eastern Canada Forget being nice and trying to negotiate with these tree hugging queers

  3. Alberta and Saskatchewan can’t wait, the dullard is doing what it was told to do to bring Canada down. Let Toronto and the east have that model. Our assets in the west are diminishing in value, no jobs no oil exploration no pipelines, a media constantly attacking our cattle/ and oil and grain production etc, we have gone far enough with bulls,,t social licence. It won’t work. The so called eastern elite want only our transfer payments. Will the west hang around for a third turdo to totally ruin us? Scheer is a globalist, he threw that last election just like Romney/ Mcain etc did stateside. But then this big fly got into the globalist ointment, and it’s a thing of beauty to watch Trump drive the programmed morons crazy. Alberta and Saskatchewan and most of BC want out before we see a wall going up at Coutts with this moron welcoming mainland China to scoop up our assets for 10 cents on the 74 cent “dollar”.

  4. Thousands of Alberta Government jobs to be gone by 2023. Well when you send 50B a year to Ottawa to pay for Quebec Daycare somebody has to be cut. More Alberta Less Ottawa is the answer. That and Government is too big anyway. When I did research for WR there was over 50 pages of Pres/VP’s/Managers/ etc running AHS. That info is now hidden after I sent it to Danielle Smith. That is what needs cutting every government Department is top heavy with management.
    https://edmonton.ctvnews.ca/mobile/thousands-of-public-jobs-to-be-eliminated-by-2023-alberta-government-tells-unions-1.4708633

    1. A cut in government jobs anywhere is not a bad thing, even in Alberta. The fact there are so many is a testament to excess regulation and government control at any level.

      1. Exactly. Alberta should be what it wants to see in the rest of Canada. It will make negotiation much much more productive.

  5. Maybe Justin fan girl Rosemary can talk about Scheer being a Christian fanatic again. If she can find time from kissing Blackie’s ass.

      1. Why are Liberal woman so ugly inside and outside…? Turdhole Rosie is truly one of the worst human excrement to ever work for the LIberal Party CBC.

  6. We have only ever had a national unity problem, and were only saddled with thus bilingual, multicultural claptrap in the first place, because the French Canadians refused to accept the result of the Seven Years’ War, to learn English and accept the Protestant faith, or to leave Canada forever and take their pedophile Roman priests with them.

You want national unity? Then solve the French Canadian problem.

In my dreams I see Bloc voters being ordered at gunpoint into trucks that will haul them up the James Bay Road and Highway 389 to their new homes on reserves in the taiga, making room in the habitable portion of Lower Canada for loyal Canadians wanting to start new lives and willing to work hard to make Lower Canada, in truth, the beautiful province.

As for Montreal…in my dreams I see the abomination on Mount Royal styling itself the Oratoire Saint-Joseph being dynamited to make room for the finest synagogue in Canada, to serve a Jewish community that will be exempted from Quebec taxes for twenty years if they will only return, secure in the knowledge that the sodomite French priests and Jew-hating French peasants are finally gone forever.

      1. Telling the truth in no way diminishes one’s humanity. Sometimes his over the top rhetoric is needed.

        1. It is a difficult situation to decipher. BC, is a huge and financially productive physical area; but the most productive parts are sparsely populated. It is easy, VERY easy, to hate the entirety of BC, because of the electoral dominance of Vancouver and Victoria.

I suspect that Quebec is in the same boat. They have hundreds of thousands of square kms of area, populated by only tens of thousands, with only a handful of electoral representation, that is responsible for 50% or 80% of the financial output of the province; Quebec City and Montreal have all the seats, and all the power. The cities with the votes and power, they laughed at Lac Megantic, because none of them, or their ancestors going back 7 generations, ever had to live close to a railway track, or a chemical plant, or a coal plant, … None of them or their ancestors were ever petardiers, or sent away to wars, ….

      2. What our betters call ethnic cleansing (when nations that aren’t China decide to do something about unruly Muslim tribesmen, and see to it that it stays done) is simply the outcome of the process by which groups of human beings have traditionally settled disputes over territory.

In fact they have rarely been settled for long in any other way. Victory in war is not complete until the vanquished have been put to the sword or put to flight. If this is not done, their sons will one day return to avenge their fathers.

I know you mean well, Watcher. But I have a better grasp of human nature that you seem to think I do.

And really—how grateful have the savages westerners didn’t drive into extinction after defeating them in war ever genuinely been for the white man’s magnanimity? Not very, to put it mildly.

        1. AC Free Speech is Free Speech, and I am all for that, I am just saying do not lose your own humanity. For your own sake. And yes if you go to war if you must go to win.

        2. Ethnic cleansing?

You mean like the 500,000 English people driven from unilingual/vindictive Quebec these past 4 decades?

          1. One Anglo-Quebecer I know says that after they drove out enough Anglos they even changed the name of the town in which he grew up.

        3. yer an ignorant bigoted idiot strap-on, nothing more, nothing less, and have about zero or less knowledge on basic human behavior

    1. Just a historical correction there, AC. The British were did not demand the Frenc drop their religion, language or customs. This is how they held onto it; it is also where they developed the policy that enabled them to build a huge empire – by not forcing the liberated populations to change their habits but to just accept the British legal system and pay taxes.

      1. It was the first British Governor General of Quebec, a Scotsman named “MURRY” that passed
the Quebec Act which gave Quebec it’s RIGHTS… Don’t blame the French….

      2. Robert –

Don’t quite agree – Quebec got the Quebec Act, the disaffected American colonists got inflexible Royal governors, ultimatums, and finally, bullets.

        Sound familiar?

      3. Oh, I’m aware of the Quebec Act, Robert. They were never forced to choose. That’s the problem.

    2. From the deep thinker that proclaimed that no women will enter the paradise in heaven we also learn that no Catholics belong in the paradise on earth. No Italians? Portuguese? Irish? Poles? Just Protestants and Jews? Not even your beloved Siberian Mongols? Damn, no wonder you and Kevin agree on so many points, you both share the masturbatory affinity for purity tests.

  7. Finances are going to be tight at the CBC after the west separates. So expect them to flame every opinion that doesn’t align with their’s over the next couple of years.

It’s difficult to argue against them, it’s so far out there and removed from the reality of the west.

    1. Tens of thousands of Canadians have worked in Alberta and made millions of dollars that went back to Nfld, NS, PEI, NB and all other provinces. Alberta made many Canadians wealthy, not just the elite. I have family and friends who worked the oil patch, as it used to be called, for decades and retired back in their home province, some with as much as a million dollars saved and invested. These were tradesmen and guys who specialized in heavy equipment, oil extraction and many other fields related to the oil sands. I guess if Alberta does separate, those jobs, when they return, and they will return no matter how many loons and morons want to commit suicide, they will be selectively filled by people screened properly for loyalty to the new country. Anyone who really wanted a united and prosperous Canada would inform Quebec that they will be officially bilingual and all laws in Canada will be the same in Quebec as they are every where, separation will not be an and option, leaving Canada completely will be their only option and they can do so by train, plane, boat or car. All transfer payments will cease and all provinces will pull their own weight and not spend money they don’t have. All socialists will have the same option.

      1. But they don’t want a united and prosperous Canada. They want a divided, impoverished Canada so that all will be dependent upon the government.

    2. This Fraser owes any single Albertan taxpayer 14 thousand bucks, brags about it, and thinks the wexiteers are the problem. This defines insufferable.
No one is more deserving of a sparky car end game.

  8. She makes it sound like the election is still ongoing.
This is where I repeat the adage that liberals do not consider a minority a win and that the election is not over till someone wins a majority.
Frankly at this point Scheer has nothing to lose by instructing his caucus to start making a sound bite a day. However that would require the strategists to understand the adage mentioned above.
The liberals are still campaigning for a majority while the opposition parties are giving them free reign.
But hey, nature abhors a vacuum and either this country goes down the tubes or something changes.
    Btw
Anyone seen anything in the news on the SNC trial?
Why isn’t the opposition making a sound bite a day? Are they ignoring the story or afraid of pissing off the Montreal elites?

  9. Bought and paid for. Rosemary Barton is a completely compromised Liberal fart-catcher and she knows it. In fact she’s happy to be on the Liberal payroll, just like the rest of the CBC. No Conservative will ever get fair treatment from the CBC.

        1. I agree. Harper failed in two ways. 1- He did not cut off CBC from federal funding and 2- he ran an absolutely terrible campaign. Halfway through it I realized he did not want to win! Lost all my support.

          1. He failed in many more ways than that. Grew government, more spying, re-criminalized prostitution, his surreal and hilariously archaic Reefer Madness campaign, the list goes on. Oh and like you said running the worst campaign ever on top of not grooming and implementing a replacement by Jan 2014 at the latest. It was very clear Harper had gone from balloon to ballast for the CPC’s popularity by that time.

          2. I lived through, and may have worked for:

            Robert Stanfield (September 9, 1967 – February 22, 1976)[e]
            Joe Clark (February 22, 1976 – February 19, 1983)
            Erik Nielsen (February 19, 1983 – June 11, 1983) – interim
            Brian Mulroney (June 11, 1983 – June 13, 1993)
            Kim Campbell (June 13, 1993 – December 14, 1993)
            Jean Charest (December 14, 1993 – April 2, 1998)
            Elsie Wayne (April 2, 1998 – November 14, 1998) – interim
            Joe Clark (November 14, 1998 – May 31, 2003)
            Peter MacKay (May 31, 2003 – December 8, 2003
            John Lynch-Staunton (December 8, 2003 – March 20, 2004) – interim
            Preston Manning Nov 1, 1987 – Mar 26, 2000
            Deborah Grey (acting)Mar 27, 2000 – Jul 7, 2000
            Stockwell Day Jul 8, 2000 – Dec 11, 2001
            John Reynolds (acting
            Stephen Harper (March 20, 2004 – October 19, 2015)
            Rona Ambrose (November 5, 2015 – May 27, 2017) – interim
            Andrew Scheer (May 27, 2017 – present)

As you can see, a lifetime of disappointment.
And Stephen Harper leads the list by a country mile.
Or, as I like to call him, Stevie Mangina.
            Biggest disappointment ever!
            Not even close.

          3. It is the Canadian way,,, Harper ran on the Status-Quo which todays voters don’t want… Watch Trump project a Newer & Better Vision in 2020 that blows the wheels off the Democrat nothing Burger…If you are stuck on stupid, step aside for someone with a positive vision…. Vision is progression in motion….Just good enough is not electable….

            JMHO

          4. ouch canucked
            you seriously pasted the harpoon.
nice to see such a pasting happen where deserved.

            stevie harper.
kinda like mr spock meets any of those listed.
rona ambrose under a different times might have pulled the CONservatists cat out of the fire.

      1. No he didnt. He should have killed the CRTC and the subsidy. Let the market kill the CBC. It would find out that all those ” friends of the CBC” have no thing to offer if its not other peoples money.

          1. Peeair knew what he was doing when he imposed his CRTC… media diversity is gone… only State and monopolized Corporate Media remain, and they all sing the same LIberal Party song, or else… the bias and message conformity would not have happened without Peeairs CRTC.

  10. I don”t care about whatever a Rosemary Barton is.

As far as oil sands, Alberta and etc. remember that Butts used to work for the WWF, and still is doing so. Do you think he has lost the ideology or not expecting to get his old job back?. One might also question Steven Guilbeault, Seamus O’Regan and Debra Schulte,

Remember, these people are ideologically committed to killing fossil fuels and resource industries. They are doing quite well.

    1. To be fair to the aforementioned…they are only interested in killing fossil fuel use by us plebes. Dino juice consumption by the elites continues to increase unabated.

  11. Canada the nation that refused to be. Alberta Independence is the way forward now. Saskatchewan can join Alberta if it wants.

  12. “What crisis?”
The media are always the last to know.

With Rosie as their lead anchor maybe CBC should be renamed the Cow Broadcasting Corporation.

    MOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

  13. The following story is as close to “balanced” as the CBC gets. “Calls for U of A lecturer to be fired for denying Holodomor” i.e the killing of 8M Ukrainians by the Soviet Union.
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/u-of-a-edmonton-macdonald-holdomor-1.5377661

In the 2019 federal election, this lecturer was a candidate for the Marxist-Leninist Party in Edmonton Strathcona.
They even quoted Jason Kenney: “Premier Jason Kenney responded through Twitter, saying it was “deeply disturbing to see a university professor of elementary education and former Communist candidate engaged in genocide denial.”. They also noted its a matter of free speech. Who knew? Where was the free speech angle when the lecturer at U of Victoria was dismissed for saying the poley bears are not dying?

  14. I’m hearing a lot of sizzle but not seeing a lot of steak wrt western separatism. And what steak I’m seeing is low grade cut: those people wearing Make Alberta Great Again hats should be stuffed in bags and taken out of sight for the sake of any incipient separatist movement. Cripes way to be out of touch.

  15. Kevin

    I could not agree more.

CBC has been “Social Engineering” for at least 4 Decades that I am aware of….or was congnitive thereof. Pushing Socialism 24/7 with a good dash of Deviance along the way. I recall their trashing of the Conservative leader Stanfield back in the early 70’s I believe it was, right along side the blatant beautification of that Earlier POS, Pierre Trudeau.
The Populace lapped it up like honey.

Another episode comes to mind wherein some scribe had been “monitoring” a young child from the age of 1 (adopted by 2 Lesbians), then at the age of 9 the pronouncement was the little one had Suffered no ill effects from being brought up by 2 women… REALLY.?? I was kinda like…No shit sherlock, how about waiting till she was 18 & asking her what she thought when walking in on the 2 of them getting it on..? Same thing would apply to th male side of things.

Typical CBC….and the band plays on ’cause not one thing has changed. Now its full bore Gender Bending & Pedophilia.

    # WEXIT…asap.

    1. steak, the electorate is just plain stupid and uninformed, just read some of unDork’s posts for examples

  16. Any CBC journalist would be the last to figure out that there was a unity crisis. And when they did, they’d simply label anyone supporting it as a racist & fascist.

    Simple minded simpletons.

  17. On the topic of a Western Canadian Party…unless Alberta separates it will not have the same leverage as the BQ in Quebec. Alberta should be proceeding with its own Provincial Pension Plan (APP) while it prepares to separate from Canada. Suck the money back from Ottawa NOW!

Is it irony in Barton’s Tweet that things are moving quickly (?) because I don’t see anything in Alberta moving toward an independent country, or reducing payments to Ottawa.

Remember the average Canadian receives $0.56 for every $1.00 they pay into the CPP. It’s a TAX. And Alberta pays more than any other province per person receiving a pension.

  18. Well if the “things” to which she refers are the Wexit meetings and the grass-roots conversations people are having about how to split the country, then I suppose she is correct — things are moving quickly.

  19. The CBC unfairly competes with its private sector clones to exemplify the attitude of the institutional left while parroting the narratives of the Liberal Party primarily but with strong allegiance to the NDP and Green parties. The Conservative Party is run by people who are happy to “conserve” virtually all prior NDP policy implemented by previous Liberal governments but insisting that they will slow the decline. Given that this is likely as good as it can get now that the left has all but united strategically against the “retrograde” Conservatives, it’s hard to see an actual conservative government elected again in the deranged dominion.

Canada is in decline on two fronts: One, increasing generic socialism (including post modern nihilism, tribalism, identity politics, etc.); and, two, suicidal green policies premised on the global CAGW mass hysteria project resulting in destroying wealth from its most competitively advantaged resource, petroleum. Alberta or a greater western grouping could separate and hold on to and benefit from a valuable resource otherwise prematurely slated for extinction by the nationally-dominant insane and their pimp masters but I doubt that it would resemble much of a libertarian revolution as Alberta has a history of governance under a nominal Conservative banner that is as NDP as any province’s experience, Saskatchewan Manitoba, and BC notwithstanding.

The challenge for separatists is to reconcile the reality of the need to separate to maintain prosperity and the place of liberty in succeeding in such an adventure. Just escaping Canadian institutional drag goes a long way for the later. The test is when it comes to short term individual sacrifice for a cause promising a better future.

  20. I got it !!!!! I got it !!!!!!
    sheer’s unity crisis?
the predictable lack of unity behind HIM, right from the start.
who in the CONservatists elites needs a good smack upside the head before the NEXT election?????

  21. Perhaps this is the harbinger of what is to come.

    https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/unions-told-thousands-more-job-cuts-coming-to-alberta-public-service/ar-BBXxnyA?ocid=spartandhp

It is a monetary impossibility to operate a budget by continually spending more than you make or have. A bucket with a leak will eventually drain if it is not replenished periodically. We have been reminded repeatedly of this throughout history from the seven years of plenty to the seven years of famine in the Bible right down to the children’s tale of the little red hen and her loaf of bread. And yet we fail miserably to learn the lesson. For want of a better explanation Capitalism linked with Christian Charity has advanced mankind more than any other doctrine, the prime example is based within the North American Continent between 1600 and 1950. Three hundred and fifty years of a dream to bring us to the pinnacle of human accomplishment, and yet we have seen in the last seventy five years the steady dissipation of that dream. Do I sound disappointed and disillusioned, you bet I am, watching how the descendants of the first dreamers are now running around bitching and complaining about how unfair everything is while at the same time holding their hands out for more, more, more. There is an adage that states a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, for the last seventy five years the chain that was passed and entrusted to us by the original dreamers has been transformed into a daisy chain and is likely to be broken at any time. We cannot fulfil by government decree or union contract the wishes of everyone, that is another impossibility.

  22. Rosemary’s prose can even sneer.
She epitomizes eastern Canadian urban quims who moisten every time they see Blackie (and probably wish that he truly was) while looking down at every blue collar wretch who built, maintain and protect their comfortable civilization.
She relishes her power and her pedestal.
I’d pay quite a bit to hear someone tell her to STFU.

  23. Rosemary and that sneering dude from CTV do more for western independence, each day than the Wexit organization.
By the time The media party clues into how the West is thinking,we will be long gone.
I will love to listen to “Canadien News” after Independence as these deviants slowly realize the remnant Eastern Bloc, cannot afford their services.
These “Opinion Makers” do not even get how throughly the citizens have rejected their medium.
$660 Million is not even a clue.
As the Media Party Institutions collapse into bankruptcy they will still believe that they “speak for the people”.Even with zero subscribers and negative advertising revenue.

  24. Torontonians Try to Find Alberta on a Map
I went to downtown Toronto to Yonge and Dundas Square to ask Torontonians what they know about Alberta in light of western separatism gaining ground.
After all, is it any wonder that some Albertans want to leave Canada when their own countrymen can’t even find them on the map?
    Rebel News

  25. Arthur Schopenhauer (1788 – 1860) famously observed that “all truth passes through three stages: first, it is ridiculed; second, it is violently opposed; and third, it is accepted as self-evident.”

Go UDI ALBERTA. Just Do It. The Canada of our youth is gone. This Dumpster called Canada is starting to stink like the shithouse door on a fishing boat.
