Beauty!

Rock’m Sock’m Russkies!

“Hey, Don Cherry @CoachsCornerDC,” read the tweet from the club’s verified feed, the lone English-language post from the account this month. “We heard that you were fired. It’s not good! Come to Russia, we need an analyst for Dynamo TV who could talk whatever he thinks. We love old soldiers. And we will make a nice suit! We hope you agree.”

  1. Now the CBC will call him a Russian Agent. My word what lunacy Canada has descended into, Canada the Fake Country with Fake Democracy, with a Fake Culture and a Fake Blackface Turd as PM.

  2. That’s cute. I love it. It reminds me a bit of how Canada used to be. The Don Cherry fiasco really emphasises how Canada has lost it’s way. Leftist politics and the CBC have taken a toll.

  3. A few years ago when Stephane Dion was Liberal leader, I think it was he who said that Canada is not a real country. At the time, I took exception to that statement. Now I’m beginning to wonder if he was onto something.

  4. Cherry was and is right as in correct. Millions of imports do not care anything about Canada or our”evil” white Christian ways. The poppy and Remembrance Day is just one small sample of the lack of concern for Canadian culture and society. One can see it in places other than Toronto and Brampton.

  5. You can’t win, Darth.

If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

  6. 1. A LOT more Russians laid down their lives doing the hard work of saving their country and the world from national socialism than Canadians did. They get only a fraction of the credit—and lectures on human rights from the granddaughter of a “Ukrainian” Nazi who thinks Putin is a Jewish puppet.

Are they bitter? Wouldn’t you be?

    2. The so-called “Siberian Mongols” are well aware of the real Mongol problem. Because they are not in debt-peonage to China, they can speak freely about it.

So, in the unlikely event he goes to Russia, could Don.

If you love freedom, thank a Russian. Ask him the most appropriate words for use in describing Chrystia Chomiak.

    1. Thank a Russian? The Russians that terrified the German population into believing they needed protection from the Red Army, the purges, the mass famines, etc, protection only a strong nationalist party could offer? The same Russians that allowed the Nazis to covertly train and build military equipment in Russia? The same Russians that split Poland with the Nazis and executed the Polish elite in Katyn?

Not to ignore or minimize Nazi atrocities, 3rd worst murderers ever, but they grew into a monster after being birthed in fear, fear of becoming like the 2nd worst (1st at the time) murderers ever. 1930’s USA was bad. 1930’s Germany was worse. 1930’s USSR was a fucking nightmare. Would the Nazi’s have gotten any traction if enough Germans didn’t fear a Soviet Germany?

Ukrainian Nazis? The politburo in Moscow had starved millions of Ukrainians just 10 years earlier. Besides the standard Soviet gulags, reeducation, Russification

Were they bitter? Wouldn’t you be?

Russians don’t get enough blame for WW1 either. Serbia was an internal Austrian problem, Russia intervened. But again, the Germans attacked out of fear of French-financed, fast-industrializing Russian expansion into the Balkans

Not apologizing for Nazis (or the idiot expansionist Kaiser) – very, very glad they were defeated – but without a militarized Germany, Stalin would have rolled over Europe long before an isolationist USA lifted a finger to stop him. Thank a Russian for freedom? Why don’t you head to Ukraine, you can probably find some to thank yourself? Or go to Riga, get some CF personnel to introduce you? Maybe contact Cherry himself, I’m sure he shares your Russian admiration

  7. As Jefferson said, Better to live in dangerous freedom than live in peaceful slavery. What the low life media scum, and their handlers did to Don Cherry is only the beginning. Canaduh has been PCed down to peaceful slavery. Here in Alberta and the west in general we have had enough of the Turdholing of the east, being rammed down our throats, as our main industry leaves/ goes broke, and the remaining ones are in tough shape, it is time to leave this so called country before my children have to be governed by a spawn of this dullard and his equally dull wife. Think about that, you people, who want to stay in Canada here in the west. There will be a day when the turds third turd will run whats left of Canada. I don’t want my children having to go through that, like I have seen twice in my time here.

  8. You know what sickens me? Maclean should have taken the hit for Cherry instead of grovelling for his job and hanging him out there to dry. Cherry had saved Maclean’s job more than once, and this is the thanks he gets? That is low.

If Maclean had stayed solid, stuck it out and weathered the storm and said, “if Cherry goes, I go”, it might have saved BOTH of their jobs and Maclean’s self-respect. Now decades worth of legacy and collaboration, are down the toilet, and another big piece of Canadiana gets flushed with it. All because of “cancel culture”.

A gutless, cowardly ingrate is what he is.

    1. McLean is history. Th people who hate Cherry, also hate McLean for sitting beside him all those years. And the people who have defended McLean for years, are done with him. He has no defenders anymore, and won’t be with HNIC/CBC next season.

    2. Maclean had two choices. Stand with Cherry and take a chance that they would both keep their jobs. As an added bonus, Maclean could have hung on to his self-respect although it is doubtful that he had any to begin with. Or he could have thrown Cherry under the bus, issued a simpering, nausea-inducing apology and assured himself of continued employment. Maclean, the coward, chose the latter to his everlasting discredit. He may have kept his job but he is likely one of the most detested individuals in this country.

      1. Sportsnet is bleeding money and has been dumping contracts like crazy. McLean may have saved his job, but I’ll bet he’s gone this summer, and unlike last time when everybody got up in arms to save his job, nobody will care this time.

  9. Never mind Russia, although that would be fun to watch. Cherry should set up a YouTube channel, build a small studio in his home, and broadcast live during the first intermission of every Leaf game. Watch how many people turn off Sportsnet/HNIC to watch the guy they fired. If he doesn’t want to do every game, just do the Saturday night games like he did before.
Very few people get a chance to stick it directly to people who fire them, Cherry has a unique opportunity if he wants to.

    1. “Don’s World, Don’s World”!
My first guest, Mike Myers! Love the teeth as Austin Powers, and with the glasses, instant Hansen bro, schwing.

    2. Forget censored censoring Youtube, there are many internet free speech”radio” stations he could go live through.
