  1. Solar Panels. No, no, bicycle powered generators all powered by all the Climate Alarmists. Feed them soy mush and lattes. Make them pedal in 12 hour shifts. Hire older folks with buggy whips to urge them on in the name of gaiai.

    1. Sure is a good thing no one grows any grain anymore. When will the terminally stupid wake up, right, never.

      1. “All that grain is going to Russia anyway, eh!? Let it rot”

        – The Global Warmist, Green New Deal, Democrat response.

  2. maybe the leftist governor of Minnesota could prattle on some more about the climate? that’ll help won’t it?

  3. It has been colder than average here in MN (right at freezing), but nothing like the sub zero (Fahrenheit) weather of December and January.

We had a similar propane shortage a few years ago, but that started in February. Could be a long winter?

  4. Sorry, but we need a few thousand/million deaths from hypothermia to put a nail in the coffin of the current stupidity.
Nothing else will ram it home.

      1. And we’re going to have to kill-off at least five billion humans anyways, to save the Earth – good place to start, I guess…

    1. Yep. They voted for it, they get to suffer. Do not interfere, do not volunteer to “help out”, do not donate to “relief” efforts. Let nature kill them, burn coal to mark their passing.

    2. Philip: “a few thousand/million deaths from hypothermia”.

That is the MAIN Feature of socialism, nor a bug.

It, like its current bedmate, islam, is a DEATH CULT.

    3. Every death will be blamed on … Ohhh Myyyy … “The Polar Vortex”, caused by Global Warming, caused by every single one of these grain farmers shiny new pickup trucks!!!

You can’t fight STUPID. Until they’ve ALL died-off. Nature used to take care of this problem … but the welfare state has interrupted nature.

  5. “We are now in a world where the pipeline, which hasn’t been updated, was fine in the 1960s,” Grooms said. “The system hasn’t kept up. We’re seeing a perfect storm.”

Gee…that’s too darn bad. Not sure how one would go about fixing that situation. If only there was a way to move gas from a surplus area to a deficit area.

Hoping that energy companies remember who was out to hurt them when they had enough gas to stay warm and charge accordingly. Start up a Gas Marketing Board maybe….you know…for the benefit of consumers. Maybe Scheer will support it. Bwahahaha.

  6. Likely the fact that Canada has one shipment point and two more on the way in Prince Rupert won’t help. LPG slipped under eco’s radar and since it does not use pipelines, lessens the regulatory burden. plus the FN generally like it due to the lack of long term issues with a spill.

  7. Alberta can’t give away its natural gas and Minnesota has a propane shortage. If only there was a way to solve this problem…

    1. Jeez Steve, someone would actually have to have a functioning brain and not want to kill 50% of humanity.

      1. only 50%? you are aiming high… those 11,000 disciples of Malthus and Ehrlich are aiming much lower, at around 300 million or so….

        1. JD, I read decades ago that the planet might support 500 million hunter gathers, cave man existence as it were.

      2. Of those two qualifications, I’m only sure I have the former. Are the watermelons 50% of us yet?

      3. And said someone does not inhabit the PMO, the Cabinet or the 122 Empty Suits on the Govt Isle, nor those that occupy Orange seats.

        Guillotine Fodder the lot.

  8. Gee, I just hope there’s enough propane left to dry down Ontario’s corn crop to produce “green and clean” ethanol!

    1. Jamie, around here they wait till the ground is froze solid to harvest methanol, that way the combine doesn’t sink to the axles. My freind had to buy 2 new wheels, to double up on the back ones, for his tractor last summer, just to keep it above ground:-)))

  9. Har! The dolts haven’t heard of free markets. Let them freeze in the dark.

    All good socialists I suppose.

  10. I’m in the propane business in Arizona. Even I saw this coming to the midwest weeks ago. It’s not a supply problem but a distribution problem. I just wonder if I shouldn’t go buy 100lb. sacks of beans, flour and rice.

  11. Solar panels? To dry the grain!?
No, no, no, no … !!
Truck all the grain to New Mexico, spread it out in the hot desert sun and let the solar power work DIRECTLY upon the grain. After all, isn’t that even MORE “natural”?

  12. Oh, Come on! I’ll bet that the “Red” provinces have some propne.LNG that they’d love to get rid of. The US would benefit as would the Deplorable Western Provinces. What is not to like?

China is going to need lots of grain and well fed porky parts. And North America (that is us and our friends and neighbors)have the good, well protected from bad African influences.

    Let’s do a deal……
