Am late to the discussion, but this is my two cent’s worth. How is it OK for the Left to dox those on the right, come right to their front doors (I am thinking about Tucker Carlson’s family being threatened), but when it is done to those on the Left, it is NOT OK and choruses of “How could you?” echo the land.
I am saddened that incivility has coarsened political debate, but I am fed up. Why is it that those on the conservative side are expected to behave with civility and decorum? I no longer “turn the other cheek”. Bullies, both physical and emotional, must be opposed.

She’s stating without evidence that any of this has anything to do with racism or anti-immigrant bigotry. She’s claiming the family as full participants in the “Canadian experience”, but without the acknowledgement that this includes paying for your mistakes. The long-existing truism is that it can take years and years to build up a reputation and respect, and only seconds to lose it; that has nothing to do with race. She’s assuming that none of the “bad actors” involved are Syrian or non-immigrant. She’s assuming a lot.
Sane people who watched this didn’t need to draw political lines anywhere. Without the context of the rally, this would have been seen only as stupid, violent youths assaulting a pair of senior citizens. Alaa suffered from the cowardice of his convictions, since he was attempting (poorly) to hide his identity. He was freely participating in the “Canadian experience” of attending a protest and expressing publicly his political views. Surprisingly, given the side he chose, he’s suffering the consequences of doing so, and it brought down his family’s fortunes as well. Actions and words have consequences, and it’s about time people realised this. Welcome to our “Canadian experience”.

Is it black ?
Can it shoot multiple frames (per finger press) ? Rapidly ? How many shots can it hold, more than 3 ?
Is any of that kit threaded for attachments ?
Can you turn the shutter click off, you know, a silencer ?
You already admit it has a computerized target tracking system !

I did a bit of sky photography when I lived in Calgary more than 40 years ago. I lived in Marlborough at the time and I’d drive east of the city limits to whatever isolated corner I could find.
I used a Pentax (can’t remember which model) with a wide-angle lens (I think it went down to f/2.8) mounted on a tripod, shooting ASA 25 film. All I did was open the shutter using a cable release for a few seconds and I got some good star shots. Leaving the shutter open for longer resulted in star streaks, which are rather neat to look at.
A number of years ago, I bought a second-hand reflector telescope with a 100 mm diameter and a 400 mm focal length. I added a clock drive, a camera adaptor, and a solar filter. I got some pretty decent night shots of the moon using ASA 100 film.
Through my inheritance I got my father’s spotting scope, which also has a bayonet camera mount. Some day I should try to take pictures of Jupiter and its Galilean moons with it.
You can get some reasonable dark, Dark Sky, locally. East from the Okotoks/Hwy 2 intersection about 25 km and shoot south, or straight up. I also go west past Bragg Creek to the parking lot just past the Bragg Creek bridge well west of Bragg Creek proper and shoot west, south and straight up. Northern Lights can also be shot there too on a good moonless night. Spent plenty of nights out there. Heck, I’ve shot NL from my backyard patio in SW Calgary.
