    1. Are people paying attention yet, now that the climate debate may affect their bottom line?

Another phony apology from a corporate PR guru-apologizing NOT for their own actions but for how others perceive their actions.
If the intent isn’t to attack beef why do they give the product a name that denigrates beef and attack beef in their prospectus filing and marketing propaganda?

This issue isn’t about a veggie patty, made to replicate the colour, taste & texture of 100% meat burger, cutting into the beef market.
The closer one looks the more it become evident that this “nothing burger” is laced with virtue signalling and corporate hypocrisy & an attack on personal lifestyle choices. But then that’s par for the course in this age of wokeism.

That the Cattlemen walked away with their tales tucked in doesn’t help. The Roughriders will stand behind their corporate partners. The Canadian Cattlemen need to shred the marketing propaganda that attacks beef.
“””Beyond commissioned its own lifecycle assessment completed by the University of Michigan. The study found that from cradle to distribution, the Beyond Burger generates 90% less greenhouse gas emissions and requires 46% less energy, 99% less water and 93% less land compared to a quarter pound of U.S. beef. The data about U.S. beef production came from a 2017 lifecycle assessment by the National Cattleman’s Beef Association, a lobbying group for beef producers.””

  1. The question is, which party is committing suicide faster? To put it another way, who do these idiots think their bases are?
The Democrats are all for open borders because they want new votes. Doing so they are betraying their base of blacks and Latinos, who sees the new immigrants as a threat to their jobs. The Democrats don’t care because they think they have those voters in their pockets anyway. They may be surprised next November.
So far so good. But Wall Street is doing its darndest to betray the Republican base.
The Koch brothers had made it official they are leaving the Republican party. That is good, in the sense what they do will reflect on the Democrats, not the Republicans. They support the open borders because they want cheap labor. I don’t know how they will feel if the Democrats do win the presidency and put in all the anti-business legislation. (Yes, I know one of them is no longer with us.) That is the major reason businesses were leaving California in droves. Business is screwed if all of America becomes California.
So far still so good. But what the hell are the Republicans in Congress thinking?
They support a bill to fast track citizenship for Indian STEM graduates who are willing to work cheaper than American STEM graduates. The latter should be the most loyal Republicans. They are hard working. (By definition. STEM is hard.) They have to be smart and logical, and you think will vote with their minds. In the old days they would work their way to the top in net worth as well as their profession. (They were rewarded for making real contributions to society.) And the Congressional Republicans are throwing them under the bus. If you don’t reward American kids for working hard in college and mastering difficult professions, fewer and fewer of them are going to do it any more. Between companies outsourcing production jobs to screw the blue collar workers, and STEM companies admitting cheap foreign white collar workers, what is left for the American worker, and who can they look to? America will soon become the kind of society it had always been accused of but wasn’t, with a gulf between the few haves and the overwhelming number of have-nots, who have been reduced to not much better than third world status, unable to share in the bounty of America that should be their heritage. I can see an America where the only sectors that prosper are the super rich and the welfare class, plus all the deviants who find their behaviors mainstreamed. But if you are small business (and by small I mean businesses even worth tens and hundreds of millions of dollars), or white collar, even STEM, or blue collar, you will be screwed.
I believe President Trump is doing the best he can, hampered as he is, and leaning over backwards not to violate Constitutional limits on the executive branch. (But even he may be wavering on the Second Amendment.) But he is one man. And at best he still will leave office in January, 2025. What then? GW betrayed the Reagan revolution, and it is now just a fond memory. (How times have changed. Remember Reagan was governor of California when it was still the Golden State.) But even as president, can he plug up so many leaks in the dike by himself?
I am glad I am old and will be sentient for at best one or two decades more. Hopefully everything will not have gone to hell before I mercifully lose my mind.

    1. OldBruin, if the West caves to European globalists, we’ll all end up in the same boat.
Liberals despise resource industries, where workers can actually make a good living and communities can thrive. The foundations, charities, NGO’s and community services want to control people’s lives now.

      1. Ironically, eastern Europe may be the last hope of the world. In terms of liberty, protecting the citizens, and Christianity.
However, they are small countries, and will have their hands full just to protect themselves. They can only help us by example if they do succeed. Since they are by definition nationalists (i.e. not globalists) ultimately each country must do for itself the best it could. But they can be the new shining cities on a hill, as western Europe (inclusive of English speaking countries not physically there) falls into decay. However, it may be a long time before this glimmer of hope brings about a new Renaissance to overcome the Dark Age that most likely will befall us.

        1. Before the Indian STEM workers take the American STEM workers’ jobs, the American STEM employees will be required to train their replacements….or else forfeit their severance pay. At least, that’s the way it happened at my company.

      2. The west {America} is caving to China, islam and every other non-white and non-Christian group on the freaking planet. The globalists are just one more piece in the destruction of the republic. Communism is firmly entrenched in America, communism, the ideology that tens of thousands of Americans died fighting against. Are we stupid? It would seem so.

“..OldBruin, if the West caves to European globalists, we’ll all end up in the same boat..”

Ah yes, that “sustainable” boat of <1 Billion souls on the good ship Planet Gaiea – all converted to Islam so as to control them.. Right.??

Maurice/Gerald you bastards…may your vile souls rot in hell forever.

  2. I just watched 50 Shades of Point Grey. A powerful man had his way with vulnerable young women and made them like paying a carbon tax. Better hurry if you want to see it, will be gone by mid-October.

  3. Another one, for those of you who are using your powers for evil this morning. From WUWT, the NBC wants YOUR climate confession! Only 130 characters in each confession, but I had fun with it anyways – fill yer boots!

  4. Probably most germane Comment I have posted; Lets remember Other Persons who have joined Kate in fighting Back-e.g Ezra Levan____

    Michael McCallion
Good Day to Rebel Media; Coverage of what is the truth for Canadians is finally a regularly available for the first time in my nearly eight decades of existence in Canada.
    Having said this a short note to Ezra;
I finished reading Your recent book “Sopranos” and found it to be great read with many factual and Documented –Source Foot Notes– which the Liberal supporters appear to have forgotten is necessary for Peer Review and acceptance.
There are many references to the Chretien Administration Decade __ Justin’s “Uncle Jean”___ and the steady slide into deeper collusion & corruption as the Justice Gomery Investigation uncovered.
A period of Ten plus years when the Conservative Party Supporters REQUIRED a change of Governance from the ‘We To’ agenda’s of the P.C. Party chasing the same crowd of Journalists in hope of gaining fair reporting coverage. This never to happen as the CBC &; Radio du Canada had been bought and therefore, as all sell-outs, became a tool of the Liberals.
There are many recollections of your fight for Justice in Canada, not only the use Of “Libranos” to accurately describe the Chretien/Martin decade of first setting into place the Quebec Referendum on Separation through inattention and ignorance.
Imagine Jean Chretien really crying because He recognize it was His incompatence which fostered the FLQ agenda into approximately 50 % of Quebec Voters, I still believe if Ontario’s Premier of the Time Mike Harris had not spent the time and effort to travel with Ontario’s Citizens Montreal; the Vote would have been 50.1% .
Other recollections: your personal and professional efforts to set-aside the Tribunals — essentially pulling freedom of speech -out of the Kangaroo Pouch Tribunals — recollection of the reason for the French Revolution beginning in 1787; the only publisher in North America who boldly showed every Picture requred to understand the future of Terrorism unfolding through Western Civilization.
As mentioned earlier Mr. Levant; You have been fearless for decades in striving to maintain Freedom of Speech. Thank you for finding time in your obviously busy schedule to write and publish “Sopranos”. This is a treatise on the steady erosion of Canada’s Freedom of Speech as has been happening for decades.
Every Canadian — Journalist? — should tip Their Hats or salute whenever “The Libraono Party of Trudeau/Butts” forbids the Rebel Media from a Press gathering. — The Journalists? — should get up from their comfortable pews and offer You a Seat.

  5. China at the ready to put down the protests firmly:
    Kyle Bass…
“China orders 150,000 anti-riot officers near Hong Kong to get ready – xi is a coward and doesn’t want his military parade (or his murderous rule) to be challenged by peaceful protestors hoping for universal human rights.”

  6. @Y.Knott. You tricked me! I went to that nbc site and it wasn’t a joke! There are a whole bunch of loonies confessing their sins against mother gaia. The Nut Barn needs to send a lot of transportation to remove them from a sane society. I was really shaken by their attitude of really giving a shit what other people think. Send them back to 1st grade.

  7. We might need to have a rethink on that election result contest.

I wonder how many people would stand by their numbers now? I would revise mine, wasn’t that down on the Liberal chances before this scandal hit, and had a deadlock Libs and Cons, poor showing for NDP, minimal gain for Greens.

Would now think Libs lucky to elect 60, each of their opponents will pick up roughly similar numbers, so now looks more like

    Libs 59
    Cons 180
    NDP 40
    Greens 10
    Bloc 30
    PPC, other ind _ 19

That’s if Trudeau tries to remain in the race (hmm bad choice of words there) and doesn’t resign. If he does resign, the Libs may get more like 100 taking maybe 8 away from each opponent as shown, give or take.
