Coulda Had Max

Because he understands how Twitter works;

People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier has doubled down after attempting to discredit an internationally recognized teenage climate change activist by calling her “mentally unstable.”

After facing scorn on Twitter for his remarks on Greta Thunberg on Sunday, Bernier did not back down in an eight-part tweetstorm the following day.

And that you must never, ever back down from the media and their mob. Now, if only the rest of Canadian conservative politiciandom had as much backbone.

  1. If thieves liars and crooks like Trudeau don’t back down (SNC) why should someone who speaks the truth. Greta ThingBorg is a disgrace and so are her parents.

    1. Good for Max to use the Magical Retard to get press. There has got to be a pant-load of people who would like to slap the stoopid out of her parents and tell her to mind her own f**king business.

  2. MAX to the MAX !!!!
Vote PPC, and save Canada from itself.

Either that, or give me policy arguments. Just un-electing Trudope is NOT enough. Because we need a change of DIRECTION in this country, not a change of address for the leader of a left-wing Socialist Nation in DECLINE !!!!!

    1. “…Just un-electing Trudope is NOT enough. …”

But if it is all we can get this time around, I think it’s what I’ll go for. If PM Castreau is returned to office I’ll be onboard with a separation movement in the West because we’ll have so little left to lose under another Liberal government, not because of confidence we’ll succeed. I’m not hopeful that return of the Liberal government is going to cause a successful separation and so, not thinking that a protest vote for the PPC is a good strategy.

In the CPC leadership race I wasn’t voting because I’m not a party member. As an interested spectator I disliked Scheer selling out to the dairy cartel but I thought at least he would perform as leader much better than he actually has. I’m not sure we “coulda had Max,” nor that if he were leading the CPC he would have been better than Scheer has been. But if he had won he would not have been a bigger disappointment than Scheer has been. I can still believe that Bernier wanted to lead because he wanted to try his ideas. It looks like Scheer wanted to lead so much he’s willing to try anyone’s ideas, including the Liberals’. And he seems to believe he needs the support and approval of the media and the professional political class more than he needs that of the Canadian voters.

      1. Look squirrel! Scheer is just a distraction. The policies and direction of “the governemnt” won’t change because that’s not what Scheer is there to do. He’s there to fake an opposition, get the oproborium of evil (and imaginary) “cuts” and “austerity”, to balance the budget and then get kicked out after one term, for another 15 year Liberal rule. It’s an old formula that the Natural Ruling Party has used for over 100 years.

The Dippers and Watermelons are in on this; fake alternatives. PPC is the only way to make the change; the only party to be talking about:

Reducing foreign aid, AKA, international swag.
        Ending deference to the UN
Ending the Indian Act, a terrible piece of racist legislation
        Retooling “equalization”
Ending the divicive “multi-culturalism” policies – we’re all Canadians, whatever that is.
Building pipelines; allow resource and industrial development; unleashing the economy
End the Watermelon hegemony on public policy – sorry Greens.
Ending the CBC dependence on taxpayer money involountarily “donated”.

None of these are public, or party, policies. Only PPC wants to drag the country out of ideological, intellectual and emotional stagnation.

FEEL GOOD AGAIN: VOTE MAD MAX AND THE PPC CANDIDATE NEAR YOU.

        1. “FEEL GOOD AGAIN: VOTE MAD MAX AND THE PPC CANDIDATE NEAR YOU.”
I certainly won’t be feeling very well with another 4+ years of Trudeau. I say 4+ because in the next 4 years they will make it impossible for an opposition party to get elected via mass migration. That’s one very big reason to get him out NOW. The only way is to vote CPC.
The PPC Sheerdeau schtick is getting tired. Scheer is a far superior choice than Trudeau could ever hope to be. No carbon taxes, reduced taxes overall, an energy corridor, no to mass migration, no to UN control over internal affairs, on and on.
But no the PPC/Max want it their way. They are a bunch of cry babies, whah whah whah Scheer cheated and I’m taking my ball and bat and going home instead of being adults and confronting the threats to the country Liberals are orchestrating.
Trudeau is never attacked, only Scheer. Why is that, is Max up for a big job if he swings a few seats to the Liberals? Inquiring minds should know if Max is a Liberal plant.
If Max was leading the CPC and running on the PPC platform, the Liberals would be polling 45%+.
No party can win government solely from a right wing position like PPC, there are not enough votes. The path to the PMO goes through the political centre is Canada.
PPC are politically clueless and dangerous in their ignorance.
The change you want can be done within the CPC but you people are just too lazy.

      2. “But if it is all we can get this time around, I think it’s what I’ll go for. ”

Bingo, pity the obvious needs to be constantly motivated.

      3. “FEEL GOOD AGAIN: VOTE MAD MAX AND THE PPC CANDIDATE NEAR YOU.” ~Bobby the Ottawanker

Feelings are for Lefties and gurlie bois, but I repeat myself. Use your brain and vote Trudeau OUT.

        1. Toony if scheep gits in you didn’t get rid of the Turd, turd and scheep are riding a bike built for 2 scheep has the real pedals and the turd has the real handle bar, scheep will try to keep appeasing his NME’s and carry on with the turd”s destruction of kanada

          1. If Scheer gets in it slows the rot the Liberals are pushing, and perhaps buys four years for the PPC to grow. Which they may well do with Scheer demonstrating no significant difference from the Liberals in fundamentals. If he doesn’t get in, we get closer to the more drastic course which, as I said, in those circumstances will be the best (or least bad) option available. Elections are almost always about choosing the least bad option.

If/when we do elect a party that tries to make real change, their first term will be taken up entirely with a civil service revolt.

        2. Ooz speaking of usless libtard girly boys you are the prime example in here, aren’t you ther fool who thought the gubbermint should come and take away your old couch, a real conservative would do that him her self. And voting scheep will not get the turd out out, only out of the official residence

  3. I like Kate’s description of “The Magical Retard”. I will be using that in future conversations.

  4. I’m with Max 100%.
Vote PPC in October. Any other vote is a vote for the pathetic status quo.

    1. Much as I’d prefer Max, I will vote Conservative, because unfortunately a vote for Max is a vote for Trudeau. The lessor of two evils is better than the worst of two evils. Not that I view Scheer as evil, only Justin, Andrew’s problem is he’s afraid to stand up for conservative values and thinks the only way to win office is to be Liberal-lite, but better him that the Spawn.

      1. Scheer’s been party leader for more than 2 years now and has done next to nothing. He’s let Prinz Dummkopf walk all over him without fighting back. He lets HRH kick sand in his face like the scrawny weakling in those old Charles Atlas ads and he allows that to continue. He says the same thing as His Majesty, figuring that if it comes from him, it must be conservative. In other words, if the Prinz says 2 + 2 = 4, it’s a liberal doctrine, but if he says 2 + 2 = 4, it’s good, solid conservative ideology.

Sorry, Andy the Spineless, people do notice and you haven’t provided a viable alternative to the status quo.

A vote for Scheer is a vote for Trudeau. No, thank you.

      2. Given the number of so called Conseratives slamming Max, I think I will vote for him. I wasn’t going to vote at all, but now? Why not! Better the Turd and finish this pathetic country off, than the pathetic Andy2%, UN clown, Islamic apologist.

        1. Maybe I’ll vote for Max. After all when he worked for the Parti Quebecois (Bernard Landry) he wanted to correct the fiscal imbalance.

          i.e. more money for Quebec.

          🙁

          Nah, can’t do it.
Won’t risk my taxes going up.

      3. As I tried to explain in an earlier post in this thread, a vote for Scheer is not a vote against the Natural Ruling Party. He’s just “moving to the center” so he can show he is compliant with the NRP. In fact, he’s so far left even Lester Pearson would be shocked. How far left is he? He would chew of his right arm to maintain balance.

Scheer is in the long and noble tradition of Joe Who and Bob Stanfield “The Best Prime Minister Canada Never Had”. Oh boy, Liberals love extolling Stanfield’s virtues 🙂

      4. I’m with Max for CDA’s sake, but with Alberta independence with a return of LaughingSocks. Ultimately though, I’m with Alberta independence either way as official CDA will block any real reform Max or any other might try. CDA is a giant fleecing operation and we are the sheep. Too ba-a-a-a-ad for us.

    2. Much as I prefer Max, I will vote Conservative, because a vote for Max is a vote for Trudeau, and I will vote for the lesser of two evils who have a chance of forming government. Not that I think Scheer is evil (though Trudeau clearly is) his problem is that he’s afraid to stand up for conservative ideals, and thinks the only way to win is to be Liberal-Lite.

      1. Bingo. That is exactly the problem with Scheer and why so many can’t get excited about him. It’s a great way to alienate the Conservative base.

        1. Foresake the sheer folly of Scheer. You will get Trudeau without the razzamatazz. He too will fornicate with anyone to get a UN position. In fact, I think a “UN position” very accurately describes the Canadian estblishment’s urge to get such. Rather like the “missionary position” but on all fours.

Which can be fine if you’re not a heterosexual male.

    3. “Any other vote is a vote for the pathetic status quo.”

If Trudeau gets in again, the status quo will be looked back upon fondly as ‘the Good Ole Days’.

  5. Kate, at this rate, you should probably start thinking about a new headline. I am looking forward to the day when the PPC has more seats than the Conservative Party.

I think (hope) this tweet might have shaved a year off that date…

    1. We have been bitching about being governed by liberals it seems like forever. And here we are, and people who in general I thought were sensible , want to vote for another fucking guy from Quebec. which to me is the problem we have had forever. Disgusting really.

      1. ahh hole if Max is a leader which scheep and the turd are not then I’ll vote for max, scheep and the turd do not know which end is forward. In Ontario we had a leadership change at the last minute and wynne bag got trounced , as there were somer big name liberals who didn’t support wynne, and we are seeing the same thing federally, as several people have approached the movers and shakers in the liberal $$$$ people as to replacing the Turd, so turd’s policies are hurting them just like everyone else and they don’t like it one bit

        1. NoMindEasterner18.. Vote for a Queerbecer again..Play stupid games …win stupid prizes. WFC’s

  6. So, Max sees a fighter in the US president, notices that the voters like that.

Max sees a fighter in the UK, notices the voters liking it.

Displaying some fight to the Canadian electorate… If PPC polling numbers increase by order of magnitude, expect Andrew Scheer to remain hidden.

    1. Max was and is way ahead intellectually and politically of Sheer and Trudeau. That the average Canadian is not intelligent enough to grasp that is the average stupid Canadians problem. Freedom is a serious problem for those who are slaves and actually think they are free.

      1. I beg to disagree.
Putting Max on a pedestal is a big mistake.
He failed as a Cabinet Minister.
He failed to win the CPC leadership.
He failed to work with the party.
He’s going to fail to save Canada from Trudeau.

    2. ” If PPC polling numbers increase by order of magnitude, expect Andrew Scheer to remain hidden.”

Polls huh? I do expect to read polls saying Bernier is getting more support. I also expect Bernier to get lots of media coverage.
Scheer won’t be getting more media coverage. Scheer couldn’t even get arrested and get media coverage. Why? Why expect this?
Because this is how the media will fracture the Rightwing vote. They will do it through publishing polls and covering Bernier.

      1. I wonder if anybody else was elected like the scenario you propose?
It kind of mirrors several other Populist governments being formed around the planet.
Trump, Salvini, Bolsonaro, Johnson (his new government will probably win a large majority very soon), among other free nations. Socialism seems to be on the wane, and NOT a moment too soon, around the world. The most GLARING example would be Venezuela, but you don’t see very much news from CBC-Pravda about Caracas. It doesn’t fit the “narrative”, so , in Canaduh, it never happened.

        1. Socialism is not on the wane, it is in the ascendancy. The elections of the likes of Donald Trump and Boris Johnston are desperate last counterattacks before the inexorable rise of world socialism overwhelms us…..and then bows to the islamists and hands the world over the them.

          1. yep.
what I see is a very long term trend towards hopeless DEBT DEBT and more DEBT the world over.
it will be increased by magnitudes by socialism which pays for all the free stuff with more DEBT.

then the piper comes calling when sumbuddy’s currency flops and it proves to be the blasting cap for the rest of them.
(see Thailand baht devaluation causes s asia currency crisis).
ALL the factors are in place and have proven historically to cause negative consequences.
            the common denominator is DEBT.

every day, every moment the USA debt sets a new record high compared to ALL economic activity since currency was invented. think about that.

      2. The Media also understand how corrupt and ruinous the Turdhole Party really is to the future of this fractured country, thats why the Media are promoting the Lizzie Mao Party, they’re all part of the same turd. Thats why its likely the Turdhole Party will only get between 34 and 36 % of the vote, which just verifies the suspicions of most that what remains of Canada isn’t worth much, just a hierarchical pack of ethnic tribes corporate monopolies and ideological leftist bureaucrats who slavishly vote for more Liberal corruption because it pays them all so well. The Media are busy promoting a Librano/Elizabeth Mao coalition Government in order to save Justard and Gerald and the foreign interests that control them from losing power. With Jughead the Turban Party fading into oblivion expect a coalition Government of far left Globalist Liberals/Greens and Quebec “separatists”.

      3. “Because this is how the media will fracture the Rightwing vote. They will do it through publishing polls and covering Bernier.”

Exactly what the presstitutes are doing.

  7. I’m having trouble determining what was offensive or untrue.
The charming little token of the neo-communists openly states she has asbergers and an eating disorder plus so other mental challenges, that meets the definition of being mentally challenged.
The neo-communists are flagrantly using her as a front by allowing her a platform while at the same time using her condition as a shield against criticism.
Max is drawing attention to this using the new rules.
I fail to see how any of the neo-communists can claim offence or accuse Bernier of insult.
Is she an adult or not?
If she is a child then stop using her or her condition as a pretext for stifling debate.
Oh I forgot, the debate is supposed to be over, questioning the orthodoxy will get you punished.

On a related note, it appears that Max could achieve more just by gaining official party status and would cause no end of grief for official Ottawa.
By comparison Scheer has to gain enough seats for a minority or better and the Sockmonkey needs to hold on to majority.
Think about that for a while.

  8. Maxime(a guy) Bernier is a One Man “party”. His father held the same seat in Quebec as a PC and then as an independent.
As such Maxime has nothing to lose. Is it courageous when you have nothing on the line, no skin in the game? No, not at all.
Good for Maxime(a guy), using twitter. Prevents people hearing him speaking pidgin Chretienese English, a major turnoff.

    1. One Man “party” for all Canadians that’s 45,000 Strong & Free and growing

      Gad Saad
      @GadSaad

The people asked for it, and we obliged. This Thursday I will be holding a chat with one of the candidates for prime minister of Canada, Mr Maxime Bernier

I look forward to an all-encompassing conversation on countless topics that will likely shape the future of Canada.

      1. Once a Kbecer, ALWAYS a Kbecer. Putting your trust in Frenchy Kbecer is doomed to failure.

        Told ya so!

    2. Yeah, and there was NO way Trump was ever going to be President and up until the bitter end, the media party had Hillary as a shoe in by over 95 percent. Only the PPC has a full line up of candidates, a common sense realistic platform and a leader not afraid of the PC crowd to speak truth to power. I for one am not going to hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils. As Oldtimer 64, put it so well – “just un-electing Trudeau is NOT enough”.

      1. “Yeah, and there was NO way Trump was ever going to be President and up until the bitter end”

And so Trump ran as an INDEPENDENT and miraculously WON the U.S. Presidency… Wait, that didn’t happen, did it?
No, as I recollect, Donald Trump ran as the Republican candidate for President in 2016. Trump and Bernier AREN’T ANALOGOUS.
It would be more honest to compare Bernier to any number of U.S. Presidential candidates who ran as Independents and LOST.

And what would a Bernier loss mean in real terms? It would mean another 4 years of Justin “the Criminal” Trudeau.
If anyone here has been paying attention, Trudeau has plans for the next 4 years that will make the last 4 years seem tame.

        1. Trump and Bernier AREN’T ANALOGOUS. Trump was the GOP candidate in 2016. Trump won on the electoral College vote.
If the vote had been split between Party-of-One Trump and the Republican candidate, Hillary Clinton would be President.

Trudeau has plans to ban all single use plastic and ban all civilian guns. Just 2 plans he has which are extreme.
          Truth telling scares liars.

        2. Well no, Trump joined an establishment party which was hostile to him until he started winning; even then, sections of the party remained, and remain, hostile. The Reppubs are showing they are the Washington Generals of US politics, just like the “Conservatives” here in Canada.

          The party of good losers

          1. “Well no”

Well yes. Trump had how many candidates to contend with? SIXTEEN, that’s how many.
So the supporters of the other 16 candidates wanted them to win instead? No WAY!?
And then the establishment started to support him after he started to beat the other 16? GOSH!
and here I thought that that was how the process worked. Gee!

“even then, sections of the party remained, and remain, hostile”

Yes. So you’re telling me that you thought that the Republican Party of the U.S. is some kind of Monolith? Really? Really?
You’re not a serious political pundit, are you? I mean, you don’t actually consider yourself to be one, eh?

      2. Are you saying Max has candidates in all ridings? If so could you please provide contact info for his candidate in my riding: North Island Powell River British Columbia.

        1. Nearly all ridings. If you have no PPC candidate in your riding, maybe you should volounteer.

The rise of the PPC has been quite spetacular. It’s handymen, lawyers, workaday folks, engineers and housewives who are running. Nearly all amateurs.

Watch as the national “polls” can no longer hide our presence.

          1. Are they a Kbec approved? Kbec leader will force all who run to bow to Kbec!

            Never trust a Kbecer, NEVER!

          2. “The rise of the PPC has been quite spectacular”

Has it? Spectacular? No one that I know, personally, has even heard of it. Spectacular, eh?

            “Nearly all amateurs.”

Like the NDP government we in Alberta booted out last April.

“Watch as the national “polls” can no longer hide our presence.”

What does that even mean? How can the PPC be SPECTACULAR and hidden at the same time?
I want you and your ilk to know that it is expected that Maxime will poll better because that is what Zoolander paid $millions for the media to do, make Maxime poll good enough to fracture the Right wing vote.
It’s how Zoolander gets in again. Your ilk and Maxime will be hated in 4 years time as another election rolls around.

      3. “As Oldtimer 64, put it so well –

You and Oldtimer64 are probably one-and-the-same “voteMax” troll. You’ll break your arm thumping yourself on the back.

        1. Nope. I am NOT AN ANGEL !!!

I DO, however, agree with most of the things he has to say. Something, I am afraid, I fail to do with you most times.

          1. Yeah, sure. As if you’d come clean and admit it. What a surprise. Don’t be afraid, but channeling multiple nics is dishonest.

  9. “I want you to panic. I want you to feel the fear I fear every day.”

Yes … the kid (16yo ‘adult’) … is quite insane.

  10. Greta the poster child for a one world green government aka watermelon

Green on the outside and Communist Red on the inside.

Yes Max speaks the truth compared to Trudeau and Scheer that’s why we need to vote out the LibCons Party of One.

They are only the two political parties to ever govern Canada and look at the corrupt mess they have made of our once great country.

    It’s pay back time.

Maxime Bernier DESERVES a Voice in Election Debates

    – The “rules” governing WHO gets to take part in the debate were made by the establishment, NOT for democracy or voters.

Maxime Bernier DESERVES a Voice in Election Debates
    September 2, 2019

    https://www.eastonspectator.com/2019/09/02/maxime-bernier-deserves-a-voice-in-election-debates/

    1. “Maxime Bernier DESERVES a Voice in Election Debates
      – The “rules” governing WHO gets to take part in the debate were made by the establishment, NOT for democracy or voters.”

No single seat MP who represents a Less-than-1-Year-Old Party-of-One deserves to take part in the televised debates. You’re ridiculous.
Yes the rules were made by the establishment. One man, Bernier, is NOT a party and is NOT in-and-of-himself an establishment.
Deserve has nothing to do with it but if it did, …No Bernier does not deserve it any more than any other single seat MP does.

      1. A rule designed specifically for Max. Why is the Bloq in the English debate? They are not even running candidates outside of Quebec and have no chance of forming a government.

        1. Funny thing, they’re called the Bloc Quebecois but(and here is the funny) not everyone in Quebec speaks French.
It’s a Bloc, but they’re trying to get elected, hey? Who’da thunk, eh? Trying to get Allophone votes. Why I ought’a!
Imagine that?! More people in the world speak English than French. Real politik at it’s finest.

      2. I was actually surprised about, the arguably shot sighted, Librano decision to marginalize him by excluding him from debates. I suppose their thinking is that if Maxipad debated he would make Dairy Queen look normal by comparison and that would potentially play against Libranos. On the other hand, absence of Maxipad can convince some (would be dreamers of libertarian paradise just around the corner) to vote for Dairy Queen. All depends on how effective his performance in the debates will be.

BTW I am really enjoying watching you mop the floor with Maxbots in this thread.

          1. Enema, your incessant poo flinging in this thread is below your typical mildly entertaining standard. Did you ask you retarded brother or Kevin to cover for you?

      3. Any party that has enough candidates that, if elected, could form the government should be allowed in the leader’s debate.

Whether they actually have a chance at actually forming the government should not be a qualifier, that would eliminate the Greens, NDP and Bloc as well. Max was disqualified in order to keep a real conservative voice from getting national coverage.

    2. And although Bernier has, so far, been refused a place on the stage, taking part in BOTH the English AND French debates will be Yves-Francois Blanchet. Who??

He’s the leader of the Bloc Quebecois … a party running candidates ONLY in Quebec.

How can an ELECTED MP leading a registered federal party running candidates right across the nation be denied a debate voice in a national election debate … but the leader of a party running candidates in only one province be invited to take part ????

A PPC Party with 45,000 members and growing.

Liberals block Bernier from debate stage with Trudeau

A Liberal-appointed commissioner has blocked Maxime Bernier from participating in the federal leadership debates.

      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CE0TX8LjQRo

      1. “the Bloc Quebecois … a party running candidates ONLY in Quebec.”

Yes well that argument was already made last century and you weren’t around to take part. Boo-frickin’-Hoo.
And yet, and YET the Bloc has had a number of MPs elected and taken part in over half a dozen Televised National Debates.
Choke of it Angle. When Bouchard created his new party back in the ’90s, he had a large handful of sitting MPs join him.
How many sitting MPs has Bernier convinced to join his “Party-of-One”? LOL Guess Trudeau is only paying for Maxime. Tsk Tsk

      2. Well, I suspect the “Liberals” would love to have Max in the debate but the “Conservatives” are opposed and, for a quid pro quo, the establishment conceded. And why would they want their Washington Generals be beaten by a gang of school kids? It would show the farce, the lie.

        1. “I suspect the “Liberals” would love to have Max in the debate but the “Conservatives” are opposed”

See….that’s just the opposite of what Angle is claiming. Angle is claiming that the Libs are AFRAID of Maxime and are responsible
for shutting ole’ Maxie out. This is getting to be like Global Warming.
Claim: it’s hot… it must be the CO2
Claim: it’s cold… it must be the CO2 *hilarity ensues*

    3. Why would Max willingly enter a rigged game like the election “debates”?

I have not had cable, satellite, or rabbit ears for 5 years now. If you paid me to watch CBC or CTV or any of the others I would refuse.

Talking to people who will never vote for you under any circumstance is simply wasted effort.

Yelling at cult fanatics who will not think or change the way they vote is wasted effort.

      1. “Why would Max willingly enter a rigged game like the election “debates”?”

For the exposure. Right now almost no one has even heard of him. Since he has few options, social media and blogs are it.
Not that he is a real party leader of a real party having a chance to do anything but swing crucial battleground ridings LPC.

  11. “Now, if only the rest of Canadian conservative politiciandom had as much backbone.”~Kate

Strangely, Bernier has not been suspended on Twitter for saying what would get other “conservatives” suspended. Something to ponder.
It doesn’t take backbone to say something when it costs nothing. His name is Bernier, his seat is in his father’s riding in Quebec.
Bernier is the leader of a one man “party” in a Quebec riding where they vote Bernier regardless of issues or alliances. Backbone? No.

    1. Scheer sold his soul to the Islamists

      JIHAD WATCH

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

The imam Omar Subedar, who is being courted by both Justin Trudeau and his chief rival, Conservative leader Andrew Scheer, is pro-Sharia, anti-Israel, and in favor of the beating of women who are perceived to be disobedient.

Both Trudeau and Scheer should be rebuking and shunning him; neither has the courage to do so.

Scheer has unpleasantly surprised many of his supporters with his consistent and flagrant Islamopandering.

      Debate this OZ…

      1. I couldn’t give a shit. I will vote CPC while holding my nose. Some elections are about voting against, not voting for.
This election is about voting AGAINST the Trudeau LPC. I’m Voting for the only party which can beat them, the CPC.

Bernier is not a contender. He is in a league of his own, a One-Man-Party. He is “party” leader and also the only backbencher.

        1. Can’t debate that Scheer kisses Islamist Asses eh!

Continue your CPC scare mongering that’s all the Scheer CPC has anymore while they desperately try to convince Canadians to vote for your Islamic Loving Globalist UN Paris Accord Elitist Wann Be Scheer.

Good luck with that your going to need it…

          Let’s compare platforms

          https://www.peoplespartyofcanada.ca/platform

        2. I won’t debate someone who has nothing to lose and therefore can say anything, at Zero Cost to himself.
How many Mohammadans live in Bernier’s Quebec riding? Few/None? Show me that there is even a Mosk in Bernier’s riding.
There is literally no percentage in political shadowboxing. Bernier will never have to prove he means business on any issue.

          1. You should actually research before posting OZ

            You said:

Bernier will never have to prove he means business on any issue.

Maxime Bernier’s quest to become Prime Minister with the PPC Party of Canada has inspired more than a thousand farmers in his Quebec riding of Beauce to get out the vote — against him.

          2. “has inspired more than a thousand farmers in his Quebec riding of Beauce to get out the vote — against him.”

So you say. And if true, what difference does that make? Did Bernier garner 100% of the vote in Beauce previously?
Are the farmers OUTRAGED that Bernier doesn’t love Muslim immigrants as much as Trudeau?
Inquiring minds don’t care to know./

      2. Approx. 5:20 am Mountain time. Sept. 4th.
        Angel

I clicked your link to the article on jihadwatch. Got a red screen. Looked like one from those bogus scammers “We are Microsoft” messages “Call this phone number to get help”.

My screen/browser (Firefox) was locked. So, I powered off. Re-booted. Some evil person put the hex on Robert Spenser’s web site.

Warning to others. Maybe skip the link for awhile. Spenser will get his site cleaned up in due course.

    2. NOT a one man party. Also, his seat is not guaranteed in La Beauce, a dairy region. Andy 2% is look for a little quid pro quo here.

      1. “his seat is not guaranteed”

Not shit. I never said he was Vladimir Putin. Maxime could choke on some dick and die before the election.
He IS a one-man-party. Who holds the other parliamentary seat? Your invisible friend perhaps?

  12. We conservatives are slandered as racists and Nazis on a daily basis now, for no more reason than refusing to bow to the left’s sick ideologies. I don’t see anyone crying for us.

So, I say f#ck you to anybody who is insulted by us calling out a weaponized retard as the weaponized retard that she is. Deal with it.

Way to go Max!!! Scheer is a goddam coward and seems to be nothing more than a figurehead for ‘conservative’ appeasers of the left’s destructive ideologies. He and the team he has built are not capable of meaningfully changing the direction of this country… and more importantly… I don’t think they even see a need to.

Being a never-Trudeauer IS NOT ENOUGH!!!

  13. One of the things that annoys me about this “look at me” voyage is that the media refuse to call out the BS of a “zero-carbon” trip: it’s a laughable concept on its face (unless you’re a leftist).

Plus, there are reasons that sailing vessels are no longer used commercially, either for travel or cargo.

  14. Sad to see some plan to vote Max. You might as well vote Liberal if you do that. The result will be the same.

    1. If Trudeau wins again, maybe the country will break up. That’s a result I could live with. The federal government does nothing for any of us, we should get rid of it entirely and start again.

      1. “maybe the country will break up”

Pretty small maybe. Canadians are spineless and/or stupid. Such a thing takes a leader. Who did you dream would lead the breakup?
More likely, Canadians suck it up and 4 more years of Justin “the Criminal” Trudeau.
Maxime laughs all-the-way-to-the-bank, Quebec life goes on as usual, election winner notwithstanding.
Quebec continues taking loads of money from the Rest of Canada while flipping the RoC the bird, …pausing only to gust a milk fart in the general direction of Alberta.

        1. Trudeau wins, Alberta separates. Alberta separates, the rest of the provinces renegotiate their relationship with each other and the feds. Long shot maybe, but Canada won’t last forever.

          1. “Long shot maybe, but Canada won’t last forever.”

No maybe. If you have in mind a Leader who will lead Alberta out of Canada then put up or shut up.
Otherwise it’s just wish casting. Very COSTLY wish casting.
By the bye, why does someone with an American nic care anyway?

That said, I agree Canada won’t last forever. As a matter of fact, Trudeau will likely want to roll it into the One World Government and PFFT! it’s Done. Finito!!! You and your ilk will be more to blame than others by re-electing him.
Daddy Pierre was one of the Founders of the Club of Rome and also a signatory of the Humanist Manifesto II.
Zoolander has been finishing up what Pierre started. Zoolander famously said that Canada was post-national.

        2. Sounds pretty much like the status quo with Andy 2% at the helm. It just postpones Alberta separation for another 3-4 years, there won’t be ANYTHING LEFT of Alberta. If Max is Prime Minister, he has some libertarian policies and immigration policies that might allow Alberta to recover. CON and LIB policies are too similar to change anything economically in Alberta. WE WILL NEVER RECOVER !!! So I will gamble on the PPC. Any other vote comes up a loser for me.

          1. Ooz

” If you have in mind a Leader who will lead Alberta out of Canada then put up or shut up.”…that from ans asshole who refuses to debate because he’s got nothing. Ooz change yer handle to unme, you are as smart as that rectum

      2. That’s the Plan. More Trudeau = break up of Kanader. Suits me fine. US takes the west, right up to Alaska. I mean, you wannabe the Turd’s bum boy forever? Give your kids a future and not playing 2nd fiddle to a buncha eastern Kanuckistanian commies, picking your back pocket to “keep the country together”. It isn’t a country and never was set up to be one.

I never felt a part of “canada” ever since I moved west of Ontario. A wasted vote at best. BC commies would die on the vine without Tronna Ottawa Montreal propping them up. The NEP showed what “canada” was all about, almost 40 years ago. Where you been? Hoping for a change?

This place is done like toast, Has been since Trudeau the First. We don’t have the luxury of fixing things now.

    2. Voting for Scheer gets you the same government as Trudeau’s

Oh yeah the old LibCons status quo rears it’s ugly clown head again fot it doesn’t matter which dreaded LibCons is in power it’s all the same scam

Canadians it’s time to get off the LibCons Clowns Globalist Corrupt Merry-Go-Round

All the LibCons ever do is keep us circling the drain as they govern us all to fall further into totalitarianism as per the LibCons Globalist Plans

Canadians are done with the LibCons Clown Circus Show

We’re not going to take it anymore

      Next…

      PPC = FREEDOM !!! FREE SPEECH !

      https://mobile.twitter.com/DeniseInCanada/status/1167484772731539456

    3. I would call that a “wafer-thin” argument.

Vote for the Washington Generals because the Globetrotters always win.

  15. The only thing I would like to see more than Scheer fired as leader of the CPC after going down in a huge loss is Trudeau going down in a huge loss and the only way that could possibly happen is if people hold their noses, and take their puke bags to the polls and vote for the loser Conservatives. That, in the deranged dominion, is as good as it gets. Max will win his seat and his non party will lose every other riding.

Now it looks like the UK is going to the Polls before we do. What happened to proroguing parliament?

    1. Max will win his seat and his non party will lose every other riding.

      You Cons don’t get it.

Canadians are done with the Liberals and the CPC.

You blew it by forcing Max out of the CPC by cheating with the dairy Cartel

The Trudeau liberals are going to be decimated just like the CPC.

      You reap what You sowed

      https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ECIaLv6XkAASV91?format=jpg&name=large

      The LibCons love rigging elections

      1. Canada, unfortunately cannot muster support for a true majority of actual conservatives. As much as I would love to see Max and his non party bring a near libertarian government into being, it can’t happen without a major change in the culture of the deranged dominion including the virtual abandonment of the CPC. Cultural changes don’t come about through politics. Federal Conservative governments in Canada for the last few decades are a consequence of finessing a split vote in the other parties not due to any popular vote close to 50%. Perhaps one out of twenty conservative voters are ideologically conservative. Screaming at SDAers who are mostly of the former will not change the minds of the mushy mindless middle who comprise the later and vast majority of the minority who vote conservative. I hate the Conservatives but I hate the Liberals more, period.

I have been involved with Libertarian Parties. I know what isolation and electoral humiliation feels like. Get used to it.

        1. “I have been involved with Libertarian Parties. I know what isolation and electoral humiliation feels like.”

Yeah? I worked for nearly 2 decades for the Reform/Alliance/Conservative party before we got power. Few people want you Libertines to take power. Some people have responsibilities, you know.
Also, Libertine party line is so nuanced that few people can understand the issues.
Good luck getting a plurality when most people just want to get on with their lives instead of spraining their brain over such political subtleties. Dreamers. Very unrealistic.

          1. And that, is why conservatism fails. They are so far down the populist / socialist / fascist rabbit hole, they see liberty as threatening. Conservatives are so zealous to “conserve” their 40% to 50% statism against those that want to add a few more points every so often that they lose any differentiation. But you are correct that libertariansim is a foreign language in the deranged dominion.

          2. Conservatives are for Liberty. However, unlike Libertines who are so arrogant that they think they have a monopoly on Liberty, they have a sense of responsibility too.

“libertariansim is a foreign language in the deranged dominion” ~implies that it’s the ‘mother tongue’ somewhere real

You think your libertine fantasy has worked, politically, anywhere? Go ahead and tell me where and when that was.
Caveat: You cannot pretend that it has worked within an already established framework created by conservative thinking.

          3. “Conservatives are for Liberty…” Conservatives are for 50 to 60% liberty the same way a milkshake with 40% dog shit in it is still a milkshake. Do Conservatives want to abolish socialized education, socialized health care, crony capitalism. You might, but 90% of the rest of the populous that calls themselves conservative don’t. Do conservatives want to privatize land and natural resources or limit government to a few basic functions? No way – it’ll scare away voters. Lets just get power then fissile out trying to keep it.

Libertarianism is a foreign language in Canada in that most people don’t know what it is and many that think they do, struggle. In the US, they actually have a functioning party that gets votes and the rare elected politician at the local or state level. They are, like every other party, not in agreement on every issue nor can they be given that social issues don’t fit neatly into boxes. If you have ever “hung out” with them, you would likely find them to be a rather strange bunch. I have and did and that was decades ago.

Your use of “libertine” either displays ignorance, Ad hominem, or a typical Christian fear of non biblical order.

The founding Fathers of the US were more libertarian than they were conservative as were all (classical) Liberals of the 18th and 19th century. Conservatives were the statists of those centuries but have now been surpassed by modern Liberals and others on that front.

          4. “The founding Fathers of the US were more libertarian than they were conservative”

The concept of “libertarianism” didn’t even exist, therefore they were more conservative than libertarian.
They were Christians. They met together and organized the revolution from their churches.

“If you have ever “hung out” with them, you would likely find them to be a rather strange bunch. I have and did and that was decades ago.”

You don’t know me and I do not have your limitations. I call you libertines because that’s what you are.
The American Libertarian Presidential candidate in the 2016 election cycle was a political embarrassment.
            Your revisionist history is absurd.

“Conservatives were the statists of those centuries”

That may be rote libertine belief but the fact remains that not all governments were conservative and yet still represented ‘the State’. Since libertines have never governed a functioning state, apart maybe from the one-time pirate coalition that governed the one-time state of Libertalia/Libertatia, it stands to reason that libertine fantasists would develop a mythological religion surrounding not only their Utopian state but also concerning their poor understanding of the real states that exist and have existed throughout history.

  16. Just listened to the pre-recorded Evan Soloman show on the Wet Coast and the discussion was something about two gun owners taking to a gun range and having a target shooting contest to settle a dispute. Typical Liberal hack, Soloman, goes overboard about this contest because it involves guns, and target shooting. Nobody is going to get hurt in this contest, it is not a duel, it is a shooting contest where the only thing damaged is somebody’s ego and a couple of paper targets. Remember back when the Liberal Golden Boy jumped into the ring to exchange punches with another guy with the sole intention of punching each other’s lights out and that was the greatest thing since sliced bread. How do you spell Liberal, H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E.

  17. “Now it looks like the UK is going to the Polls before we do. What happened to proroguing parliament?”

BoJo lost a buttload of squishy caucus members over Brexit and that means the UK parliament is in need of a new ruling party.

    1. The Brexit Party will take Conservative and Labour votes but will it be enough to sit as government or to form a coalition? It sounds like Bojo will purge squishes from running this time.

    2. Canada needs a new ruling party to kick out the LibCons and that’s why I am voting for the PPC.

  18. Apparently the UK now has fixed elections and it takes a 2/3 vote in Parliament to force an early election. I am not sure what happens if the country becomes ungovernable. I would imagine the Prime Minister can ask the Queen to call an election but I’m note sure about that. The government no longer has to maintain confidence of the House in the worlds oldest Parliament. Who thought that was a good idea?

  19. As I see it, a vote for Scheer IS a vote for the Child.

They are one and the same.

    Max has become THE alternative.

  20. Four more years of Trump Making America Great Again and four more years of Trudeau’s incompetence and corruption in Canada.
I wonder how the two countries will compare after that, and will the stupid Canadian voters learn anything?
Maybe we need four more years of Liberal stupidity and corruption to drive the point home, good and hard.
Max won’t win this time but maybe it’s time to set the table for the next election.
Scheer is a gutless Trudeau clone.

    1. “Max won’t win this time”

      You got that right.

[…] “set the table for the next election”

It took 19 years to “set the table”. From 1987 to 2006, that’s how long it took to ditch the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada(PCPC) and get a CPC minority government, and now you want to scrap the CPC.
So you’re saying that you want Trudeau to run the country for the next 20 years or until he gets tired of it, whichever comes first?

And then you’re banking on Canada electing a Quebecer to fill the role, …except that Quebec IS NOT a CONSERVATIVE province.
And then the Great Maxime Bernier is going to wait 20 years to get into power and after he gets tired of the B.S., like Harper did, then it’s GUARANTEED that what happened to the CPC won’t happen to the People’s party? You’re delusional. Squirrelly.

      1. So tell us Oz, what has Andy2% done to earn our votes or our trust? Other than a change in names what makes the CPC any different than the liberals? Climate change? Andy2% is onboard with that one. Unlimited migration from Islamic countries? Ditto there as well! Perhaps a scaling back of the federal government? Not likely! Pipelines? The CPC didn’t do it last time, what makes you think they’ll do it now? A balanced budget? Oh wait…not yet. Freedom of the press? Hahaha! Think how he treated the Rebel. So what makes Andy2% different than the groper? Pray tell us.

        1. “Unlimited migration from Islamic countries? Ditto”

          Liar. Unlimited? Prove it.

“Pipelines? The CPC didn’t do it last time, what makes you think they’ll do it now?”

As leadership changes, Times change too. Show me that it’s CPC policy to thwart pipelines, as it is Zoolander’s, and you may have a point. You have none, now. Your arguments are just straw men. Max “the Pedophile” should buy better trolls.

        2. How about C-71 or section 13? Yeah your Librano handlers told you not to mention these, haven’t they? Stop trolling under multiple names.

    2. Canadians aren’t stupid. They’re slaves. Proven fact that many women (none on SDA of course) will sell freedom for comfort and security.
A whole lot of Canadian men are pretend women anyway plus a fat gut and arms like toothpicks, faggoty haircuts, stupid tatoos.
4 years from now the neo-Marxists will be even more empowered as Central Planning Committees remove rights and freedoms from the deplorables with glee.
Max is great but no K-bec PM ever fought for Canada before K-bec.
Hopefully A Canadian is right and we’ll be liberated by the Americans.

  21. Canada next Wednesday is the 18th anniversary of me defeating the great satan and watching the satanic towers crumble and watching the scumbags run like rats and cockroaches!!!!haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

    1. Hey its the hero of Islam communicating from his circle of hell where Satan buttf**ks each ‘virgin’ seeker with a chainsaw – 72 times a day.
(So how much does Gerry Butts pay you to post here?)

  22. Trudeau wins, Alberta separates. Alberta separates, the rest of the provinces renegotiate their relationship with each other and the feds. Long shot maybe, but Canada won’t last forever.

  23. “internationally recognized teenage climate change activist”

Trust the media to come up with such a turgid description for a petulant 16 year-old nuisance who should be back in school.

  24. Please Andy, kill me last. Do you CPC’s not get it. Canada is gone. Max is our way of saying ” Come and get it.”

  25. After much reflection I’m going with Max. He’ll never win this election but with enough votes will make the other parties stand up and take note that they’re in jeopardy in the future if they continue with their present arrogance and socialistic programs.
As “they” say, it’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. The long march has served the socialists well, let’s learn from them.

    1. ” He’ll never win this election but with enough votes will make the other parties stand up and take note ”

You gotta be RICH to spout such drivel.
Some people are hurting so bad right now that they can’t make it another 4 years just to make a statement this election.
Alternately, Bernier may be just another footnote in history that cost everyone else Big Time.

“The long march has served the socialists well, let’s learn from them.”

It has yet to be seen whether of not it has served them well. It unquestionably has had a horrendous Human Cost.
Additionally, they can do long marches where we can’t, because they do not have democracy which changes regimes.
People are fickle. It’s human nature. You haven’t lived long enough if you don’t understand that.
But you just keep on being RICH and making statements while learning nothing about the human condition.

      1. Scheer the Saviour? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
Scheer, like Joe Clark before him will go down as an embarrassment and an incompetent.

What has Scheer ever accomplished prior to being a politician? NOTHING.

        1. I am not a big fan of Scheer, but he is a better bet than the phony Trudeau. Trudeau is so shallow. He also is a puppet for the globalists. If you care about your country, do not vote for Liberals this time around. Liberals are ruining Canada. Traditional Canada is being systematically destroyed. Heritage was not even on their agenda for the 150th.

  26. I’m afraid we are becoming part of a ONE WORLD GOV’T ( aka UN, EU, China and the elite’s) of the world….run by a Communist leader. So if CPC or PPC don’t get in to form a gov’t. Canadians are toast. VOTE OUT TRUDEAU…VOTE OUT THE LYING LIE-BRALS in Oct. 2019!!

    1. Cornered rats have more dignity.

Jacob Rees-Mogg did well by making a show of ignoring their tantrums. By Christmas they will be out of Parliament and Britain will be out of the EU and back in charge of her own destiny.

  27. Two words that should be determinative, IMO:

    Gerald Butts.

As John Crosbie well said, in 1988, @ Western University, Room 40, University Community Centre, London ON, “If you don’t understand English, I’ll get you a version with pictures.”
