    1. Simple solution: have white collar criminals wash them, and use a stiff brush to remove the stick on labels. If necessary, they can cut out the offending labels.

    2. They are made from petroleum. Find a boiler or furnace that can shred them and use them for fuel.

      1. Yes, that would be the best option, but I was looking for something for our Crime Minister to do. 🙂

        1. I could make a rude suggestion for what he should do, but I guess we’ll have to wait ’til October to tell him…

    1. What they really need to do in preparation for this debate is to print some bs bingo cards for the word salad that will be repeated by the Sockmonkey.

  1. The City of Toronto is allowing residents to indicate their preference for three new street names in Etobicoke. One is guaranteed to be an indigenous name. Among the 10 choices is Rob Ford. There is no guarantee that even if Rob Ford were to win this poll that he would be selected as one of the three names. The poll is only open to residents of Toronto.

  2. Why must the “pride” people advertise their personal inclinations everywhere at every opportunity?

    https://bit.ly/2Hi4i27

I only found out about them because of an article in a professional magazine. Now I know. Now I wish I didn’t.

      1. Hate Crime..?? my ass.
It would seem to me, there are more than just a few folks sick and Freaking tired of having this Shit Rammed up our collective (_i_)’s….pun absolutely intended.

        1. More than 40 years ago, I was working for a certain company and the office I was in hired a new secretary. She told us one day that she had heard that two–ahem–“gentlemen” had been booted out of the disco in the Paralyzer (as we used to nickname the Palliser back then) because they danced with each other.

Nowadays, my next-door neighbours on one side are similarly inclined. They made their arrangement quite obvious when I saw them openly holding hands.

          1. In Montreal, in the late 70s when I was on the Métro, one day, I saw 2 men wearing fur coats, bell bottoms, platform shoes, well groomed longish hair, make-up- eyeliner, mascara and finger nails polished in a burgundy or some dark color. They were in their 20s and they looked, at first glance, like women. Their handsome faces looked happy and pretty good because they were not over-done, their get-up was very subtle. It’s nothing now, but then, even in Montreal, they were, as they say, ‘avant garde’……

I never saw that sort of style in the Maritimes very much. Most people wore hunters’ plaid, jeans and baseball caps whether they were gay or not, even to Sunday Church.

    1. So, nothing in their three pillars about engineering? I think I would rather hire engineers whose pillars are focused on excellence and highest standards rather than who they trade body fluids with.

      1. Between that group and the SNC Lavalin scandal, I’m glad I’m slowly getting out of the business. Engineering nowadays is a far cry from Rudyard Kipling’s poem The Sons of Martha. (There used to be a group by that name in Ontario. Membership was considered an honour, but due to PC, it’s no longer called that.)

    1. Her nasty mistake was taking an DNA test… The Indian tribes don’t want DNA tests to become an normal procedure.. There may not be any North American Indians left in existence…..

    1. What do you mean? That was great!
I can do that, ahem, “I’m called little Buttercup, dear little Buttercup, là, là là,” ….

      Là, là!

  3. Former Ontario Liberal Cabinet Minister, Michael Chan at pro-Beijing rally in Toronto.
    https://nationalpost.com/news/former-ontario-liberal-cabinet-minister-headlines-pro-beijing-rally-near-toronto#comments-area
According to his Wikipedia page, his libel case against the Globe and Mail is still before the courts regarding claims that he was subject to a CSIS investigation because of his ties to officials in Beijing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Chan_(Canadian_politician)

    1. “According to his Wikipedia page, his libel case against the Globe and Mail is still before the courts regarding claims that he was subject to a CSIS investigation because of his ties to officials in Beijing.”

Much more likely, CSIS touched a sensitive nerve. A good reason for CSIS to continue closely monitoring Chinese-Canadian associations for ties to Beijing.

Chan is of course quite free to spout his support for the PRC of course, but the smell of Beijing’s behind-the-scenes orchestration is very, very strong; it is more than a little unseemly to see a former minister of the Crown involved here.

      1. JJM

Unseemly yes, no question, but surprising…? ahh NO.

There are more than just a few Communists in this county. That much is plainly obvious. : Liquored Lizzy a good example along with pretty much the entire NDPee and such “Canadian” stalwarts as Naomi Klein, Tzeporah Berman, Horgan, Suzuki, Notley, and her entire entourage. Add in everyone in Any local Green Party, Anti Fossil Fuel folks and Marxist inspired PAC’s of which there are many.

yea, the list is actually quite large.
As to Chinese Commies..? should be real easy these days to see who is taking their direction from Bejing. Round them up and revoke their passports.

    1. That was funny — and very informative. Thanks for posting. John Robson has dome good stuff at Climate Nexus this week — including info about the over-reaction to spring flooding which has been used as the excuse to declare “Climate emergencies” in many instances. The political talking point “Climate Change is Real” is sounding more and more desperate.

    2. Cute. Too bad we can’t give today’s snake oil salesmen the tar and feathers treatment like they once did years ago.

  4. SNC-Lavalin Downgraded To Junk Status By S&P
    https://www.spencerfernando.com/2019/08/20/snc-lavalin-downgraded-to-junk-status-by-sp/
    —————————————————————————————————————————————
L- So, does this junk status also apply to a certain P.M. J.T. campaigning on his close and loyal association and with SNC-Lavalin. Does obstruction of justice allegations get juiced-up with this headline ? Does this give the Liberal Party a junk status by association, too ?

If the Conservative Party of Canada can’t make Justin Trudeau’s own mud stick to him? They can’t shoot straight, even with a full catapult.

  5. Big Chief Justin is giving away the federal government’s 40 million dollar stake in a B.C. coal terminal to whiny indians. Nothing to do with the election of course. Story at the National Post website.

      1. They’re probably rejoicing at that. Indians are “one” with nature, always were and always will be, right?

How long before that operation becomes a federal welfare case like some companies we can name?

    1. The payoff for helping the libs/greens/ndp continues.

If pipelines and coal are bad for whitey they must be heavenly pure for first nations.

    1. The most naïve of all must surely be the perennial German eco-tourists who bumble around the BC interior.

While out on a trail with my brother-in-law once we encountered a group of them camping by a lake. Chatting with them, we learned that not one of them had a rifle on hand.

My brother-in-law was carrying his; he has lived in the interior for a long, long time and knows that even a short hike can go quickly wrong if you happen to bump into a grizzly.

      1. JJM….its simply natural selection.

We should be encourage folks to go and see “nature” at its finest…especially the Left.! That would give “Go take a hike” a whole new level of meaning….no.? LOL.

Bottom line is.? Stupid is as Stupid does.
Bring a cpl dogs ffs if taking a rifle is not possible…not that a rifle would do ya much good clamped in the jaws of a massive Grizz.

    2. I wonder if they had his recording equipment on and captured the natural sounds of a grizzly’s prey communing with nature. That could be part of his legacy.

    3. Buddy-The problem is you need to lock the gun and ammo separately. As well you would be hunting illegally. Same thing as if you are mowing your lawn and six people drive into your yard to steal from you and assault you.

      1. I know the law and abide by it where it applies.
It doesn’t apply there and its not hunting. Just like it didn’t apply when working in the Arctic. When we had time off to fish some char somebody was on bear watch with a gun.
In my neighbourhood there are a few thieves but the Bouvier Des Flandres earns her keep.
        I don’t have a reservation nearby, just a hood.

      2. Storage and transportation laws only apply while storing or transporting, not while using. Carrying a gun does not imply hunting, just tell the fish cop it’s for defense. If he asks defense against what, tell him the same things he carries a gun to defend against. The tribe should have been charged with armed robbery and manslaughter for getting their buddy killed. Fortunately for them they weren’t white.

    1. In an earlier age, the mentally ill were institutionalized for their own good and the good of the wider society.

Today they’re an “important” social demographic to be catered to by politicians anxious to signal their devotion to the god of “diversity”.

      1. On my last return trip from the house I inherited, I happened to notice two xim/xer/xits. Neither were terribly convincing as “females”. One was about as old as I was and looked like a grandpa in a dress.

That sort of thing, I keep being told, is considered “normal”. I guess by not accepting that, I committed a hate crime.

    1. YouTube isn’t a public forum, and Prager is going to lose that suit. He’s grandstanding and fundraising, nothing more.

      1. Watch the video. Youtube is trying to be a Publisher and a Public Forum at the same time, which is not valid.

    2. Good luck to Prager their lawsuit. They are fighting for free speech for all.
If I run a private business on private premises but the moment I open the doors to the public then I have to bake a cake or wax someones nuts. Same rules for Google. Bust them up anyway possible.

  6. Trudeau’s CBC is still ranting about Nazis running rampant in Canada’s military. The Unifor journalists at the CBC urge everyone to join Team Trudeau, so he can step up his effort to recruit black, muslim, lesbians, in wheelchairs.

    1. I’ve now had to further revise my description of our Dear Leader’s view of Canadians:

Apparently we’re now not only all genocidal maniacs out to destroy the planet, but our military is modelled on the Waffen SS.

    2. No duff – many years ago I visited the CF recruiting centre in Edmonton; they were on the second floor of a walk-up. Alberta was deep in the NEP at the time, and likely a third of the downtown office buildings in Edmonton were empty – the recruiting centre could’ve had pretty well any location they wanted, but here they were on the second floor of a walk-up. There was a freshly-built wheelchair ramp going all the way up – obviously, people confined to wheelchairs would not be accepted by the military because they could not pass the entrance physical, but they had to be able to get up to the recruiting centre in case they wanted to APPLY!!!

The military has no mouth, and it must scream……

  7. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/elections/liberals-unhurt-tories-not-helped-by-scathing-snc-lavalin-report-poll/ar-AAG6KPe?ocid=spartandhp
Supposedly the Libs and Cons are in a dead heat with 33% each.
The Greentards are at 13% and the Leftards at 11%.
    Max’s party is at 4%.
Of course we know that unless you’re in a strip club the only poll that counts is on election day.
We also know that distribution matters especially with a 1535 sample size.
Also interesting that the Tards theoretically equal a quarter of the vote. How soon till they merge?

      1. Ah, me – sorta’ like the last election in Russia, which had a voter turn-out of 18%.

      2. Good Q. Maybe they decided to remove uncertainty. Like when they were certain Hitlery was going to win.
A lot of people know who they’re not voting for, but maybe aren’t 100% on who they are voting for this far out.

    1. F***ing Scheer.

With the Crime Ministers weekly scandals it is like he is being lobbed softball after softball and still can’t even seem to hit a single. Where are the barnstorming speeches ? Where are the thundering questions ? Where is the passion ?

At this point it is like getting savaged by a teddy bear.

      What an imbecile.

  8. From T.L. Davis Newsletter 13:

People misunderstand the Bill of Rights. They were not designed to guarantee anything, support anything, they were supposed to be used as a gauge of tyranny. Those ten items suggested to a people that a proper government, a benevolent government would refrain from encroaching on those areas of an individual’s life. To the extent that a government cannot restrain itself from imposing on those areas, is the degree to which it is a tyrannical government. Re-read the Bill of Rights and see how free you are

  9. More on the impending world recession melt-down crisis.

“Longer-term Treasury yields have been falling this year, in part on worries that economic growth is slowing around the world. When investors become nervous, they often abandon stocks and other risky assets and flock to Treasuries, which are among the world’s safest investments. High demand for bonds will, in turn, send yields falling. Accordingly, the yield on the 10-year Treasury has sunk to 2.43 per cent from more than 3.20 per cent late last year.”

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/u-s-bond-yield-curve-1.5068062

That is fair but there is no indication that anyone is abandoning US stocks. Also, what is “other risky assets”? Did they just throw that in there like “other safe assets similar to bonds”? Which I just made up. Because real estate is safe. Right? 2007 calling…

Trump is calling for a cut to the payroll tax from 6.2% to 4.2%. Howls of protest from the left until someone pointed out this was done by Obama. Then back to Trump buying Greenland.

    1. Inventory draw downs presage a recession. That is not happening, at least not yet. So no recessions for the time being.
Dem donkeys have long faces everywhere. They still hold out hope for disaster for their nation to facilitate another takeover.

  10. OECD praise of ‘model’ skilled labour track system a rejection of anti-immigrant stereotypes, says Kwan
    AUGUST 21, 2019

The Conservatives are trying to maintain ‘the greatest level of flexibility’ they can by avoiding outlining specific immigration targets leading up to the election, says pollster Nik Nanos.

Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen says ‘unlike the other political parties,’ the Liberals immigration planning and levels are open, and will reach or exceed one per cent of Canada’s population in the final year of their current three-year plan. The Hill Times photograph by Andrew Meade

Canada’s high marks from an international organization for its skilled-labour migration system can serve as a rebuke against anti-immigration attitudes in Canada leading into the election, says the NDP’s immigration critic—an environment that is already expected to be ugly.

    https://www.hilltimes.com/2019/08/21/oecd-praise-of-model-skilled-labour-track-system-a-rejection-of-anti-immigrant-stereotypes-says-kwan/212286

  11. Someone recently made fun of the Chinese businesses issuing IOUs to each other. Portland is issuing a $652.8 million bond to house up to 4,000 homeless or $163,200 per homeless person.

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/portland-residents-tell-elected-officials-to-stop-talking-and-fix-homelessness-crisis

This is seen as “a promising start”. What will happen when the politicians who issued the bonds retire and start taking a pension is still unclear. Will they take IOUs from the homeless?

  12. “Economists” it must really suck when the poor huddled masses refuse to cooperate. Please note Lowe’s and Target.
“Target shares surged more than 16% to a record after the retailer posted second-quarter results that topped analyst expectations. The company’s same-store sales, a key metric for retailers, expanded by 3.4%. Analysts expected growth of 2.9%.”

  13. So our little dictator sent one of his well known hatchet men to speak for the Liberal members on the ethics committee. He didn’t allow the other Liberal members to speak although he is not a member himself. After much discussion how Lavalin might lose thousands of jobs was a total lie, the Liberal stooge simply repeated from the script that thousands of jobs would be lost. And of course the Liberals quickly shut the committee down when they got the chance. Meanwhile General Kim Sung Trudeau was giving a foreign affairs speech, where he spent most of it trashing Scheer, the Conservatives, and of course Harper. He also warned against the dangers of populism. He warned that the Nazi Conservatives would bow down to populism. Populism is evil and only the Laurentian elites can rule Canada.

  14. Blazing Cat Fur has the story on Groper giving 42 billion dollars in steel construction projects in B.C. to his friends in China. Justin is exempting the Chinese from dumping duties so the they can provide steel at the expense of Canadian steel producers.

    1. MARKHAM, Ontario, August 20, 2019 — The federal government announced on August 9, 2019, that it will be granting full duty remissions on illegally dumped fabricated steel from China to supply two liquid natural gas (LNG) projects located in British Columbia. Their recent action was announced with their assurance that “trade barriers would not be permitted to stand in the way of these historic private sector investments”.
The two projects involved are LNG Canada and Woodfibre LNG, both located on the coast of B.C. The partners in LNG Canada are made up of a consortium of investors of which include China. These two LNG projects will be modularized, meaning they will be built in smaller shippable pieces with all the equipment and components preinstalled. The modules will be connected on site, requiring very few construction workers. Essentially, in doing so, the largest project ever in the history of Canada will be handed over to Chinese businesses and workers.

  15. re: chinese steel, watch for it folks a well timed annoucement will come regarding the canadians in china’s prisons.
Cue election, Cue release, Cue a strong well rehearsed speech with a pause or two for effect from the montreal slver spoon crook. I just have not figured out how he will justify job losses in canadian steel factories Or why the unions are not yelling bloody blue murder.
