    1. Jemal says “I’ve never heard this song before”
Not that it matters a damn but that is likely a bit of an exaggeration. The 1969 ‘In the Ghetto’ was a top 10 hit right around the world and marked Elvis’s return as a major cash machine in the record biz. The song was huge while the 1st moon landing event played out on TV.

  1. Trudeau’s favourite country China, had its supporters in Toronto and Vancouver show up to confront pro democracy demonstrators at rallies. And General Kim Sung Trudeau is prancing at the Montreal homosexual parade today. He will not be taking questions from the media.

    1. No lack of Corrupt Mayors in this country doing some dirty deals.
      Naheed Nenshi
      Gregor Robertson
…and anyone who’s the current mayor of Montreal/and or Edmonton all come to mind.

    2. A lot of people knew this or suspected but it was a non-issue. Now it’s an issue. Not a controversial issue, particularly, but something we must now all acknowledge when we see or hear from Jim Watson. He has put an invisible sign on himself that people now cannot help but see.

Happened in Calgary as well and no doubt will or has on the left coast.
Nice to know we have so many proud Chicoms walking among us and shitting on democracy. But hey, that’s freedom.
Of course we all know where Juthtin and Chrythia stand on Taiwan and the “One China” policy – right alongside so Hong Kong sure as shit ain’t getting Canada’s backing.

  3. Hong Kong is just another regime change scam by the Deep State. Funded by the UK and the US think Color Revolutions

    1. Yes on the scandal. It involves SNC Lavalin. So yeah it’s a Liberal thing.

SNC was severely deficient in two stages of the 2nd phase of our LRT system’s bidding. Allowed to continue in the process as the legal advisors thought SNC would win in court if contesting being eliminated.

SNC won the bid to oversee the 2nd stage of the Ottawa LRT.

City of Ottawa legal advisors that recommended allowing SNC to continue in the process, well they also represent SNC. The City knew it, but don’t believe that there is a conflict of interest.

Being gay is Jimbo’s worst kept secret. Nobody cared before and only posers and virtue signalers care now (but they really don’t).

  4. So Trump tweets a comment that Trudeau doesn’t like, and JT is front and center in the news with reaction, condemnation, et cetera. On an internal American matter.
The Chinese send in their version of Antifa with baseball bats to indiscriminately beat young, old, protesters and bystanders (learned of this from a Hong Kong immigrant with family that were involved) …and he goes dancing in a pride parade. Sure, he sticks up for what zhi calls human rights…as long as the target is Trump.
    Election mode, Canada style.

  5. Interim report from the PPC covention. This’ll be short as I was not there as a candidate, only an EDA officer. Also, I could not dedicate the whole weekend to it, unfortunately, but business and familly have claims on my time too. I am amazed how the candidates are prepared to sacrifice so much,

Although I say that about regualr candidates as well, they are often professional politicians and it goes with the job. Which brings me to my major onservation.

I have been to party conferences before, including NDP (ahemm) in the past. What was most striking was the lack of professional politicians, a good thing in my view. Also, very little razzamatazz. But then, there was no leadership contest; also no fake “policy sessions” where the party allows members to let of steam while they do whatever they like with “policy”.

Here, every one knew the policy, they are all here to “do something”, they cannot stand by any longer and watch phoney elections with fake choices between professional politicians. It was all business, training sessions on different, pertinent, subjects. People from everywhere! It’s a movement!

As reflected in our own riding, people are here for all sorts of reasons; some from the CPC, some Liberals, some Dippers and many with no previous affiliation.

My other lasting impression (the weekend’s not over yet) is how tall everyone is! Max is tall; Frank Vaughan towers over him. It seems like a party of tall men and women standing tall.

    1. There’s a PPC convention this weekend? In Ottawa/Gatineau? Who knew?

No major news coverage, not even minor league CBC. Nothing on the local news stations.

Must be another reason Jimbo came out as gay.

    1. A Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian. Had Turdeau not changed the law, we could have been first in removing citizenship. Why would the Turdeau twit be mad?

      1. Likely he is mad because he was outsmarted. Not hard to do. He also does not accept people disagreeing with him. Our PM is a total jerk. I have not seen this reference in the Canadian news. Could the media be keeping this under wraps?

  6. What slippery slope?

The Mamas and the Papas: How two Ottawa couples became co-parents

The new law also cleared a path for multi-parent families, allowing up to four parents to be listed on a child’s birth certificate. It was a game-changer for families like mine, which is comprised of four people — two queer couples — who joined forces with the intention of raising children together.

      1. So that is what she meant when she said that it takes a village to raise a child…..

  7. Inuit Community votes to allow more liquor purchases. No Whiteman restrictions. All their choice. Young father gets drunk, Mom was at party kids with babysitter in their home. Father comes home drunk acting stupid, babysitter locks him out of his home and call Mom. Mom comes and gets kids and leaves stays in her pick up and then to relatives for the night. This is an isolated community. She calls and calls RCMP no response like everywhere else in the west and the north. In the morning she finds her husband committed suicide. Now it is the RCMP’s/Whitey’s fault. Now she wants Justice, which probably means a big campaign to pick White Taxpayers pockets.
    Typical Indian BS.

    1. If they don’t like being policed by white people, why don’t they recruit an Eskimo police force? If you live in an area policed by the RCMP you quickly realize they are almost worse than useless.

The Aga Khan Museum (French: Musée Aga Khan) is a museum of Islamic art, Iranian (Persian) art and Muslim culture located at 77 Wynford Drive in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[1] The first museum in the western world dedicated to Islamic art and objects,[2] it houses more than 1,000 rare objects including artifacts from the private collections of His Highness the Aga Khan, the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London, and Prince and Princess Sadruddin Aga Khan. As an initiative of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network, the museum is dedicated to presenting an overview of the artistic, intellectual, and scientific contributions that Muslim civilizations have made to world heritage. The Museum’s mission is to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the contribution that Muslim civilizations have made to world heritage. Through education, research, and collaboration, the Museum will foster dialogue and promote tolerance and mutual understanding among people. In addition to the Permanent Collection, the Aga Khan Museum features several temporary exhibitions each year that respond to current scholarship, emerging themes, and new artistic developments. The Museum Collection and exhibitions are complemented by educational programs and performing arts events.

  11. Wow The new poster called Harper formally known as Angel must think we are stupid as her liberal cohorts Go take a flying f at a rolling doughnut.

    1. Blame someone else’s tearyeyed Terry

I voted for Harper he was the most conservative that I could vote for at that time.

Now I have the PPC and Max the most conservative platforms ever offered to all Canadians.

My sights are set on Scheer on this board

As for that poll saying Trudope has 43% of the the vote is utter bull like another poster said already Trudope is in single digits and I wouldn’t be surprised if trudope gets kicked out and replaced with the Nazi.

L- The only Party leaders allowed to participate in the official national Fed. leaders debates in this fall’s election will be those that don’t allow any of their candidates to object to Sharia law. Prove me wrong.

The political party that gained the most power in the October 2115 Canadian election was the M.B. !
This despite the fact that a majority of Canadians have a negative opinion of Islam.
4/5 national political leaders, bow in homage to them.
Now you know the meaning of the word infiltration.

As for the (M)MSM, the first M is silent ?

    1. Sounds like Cooper with the conservatives

No free speech allowed with the approved political parties

OTTAWA—A federal Green Party candidate was forced to drop out of the upcoming election campaign as he continues to call on the leader of the Quebec City mosque that was site of a 2017 massacre to denounce a man who allegedly lit his ex-wife on fire.
Luc Saint-Hilaire, the Green candidate for the Quebec riding of Lévis-Lotbinière, told the Star that the party gave him 24 hours to resign after he shared a post on Facebook following reports that a man accused of trying to kill his ex-wife by setting her on fire is Muslim.
Earlier this month, 39-year-old Frej Haj Messaoud was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault for allegedly setting his ex-wife on fire in Quebec City, The Canadian Press has reported.

      A People’s Party Government will:

Restrict the definition of hate speech in the Criminal Code to expression which explicitly advocates the use of force against identifiable groups or persons based on protected criteria such as religion, race, ethnicity, sex, or sexual orientation.

Repeal any existing legislation or regulation curtailing free speech on the internet and prevent the reinstatement of section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act.

      Repeal C-16 and M-103.

Ensure that Canadians can exercise their freedom of conscience to its fullest extent as it is intended under the Charter and are not discriminated against because of their moral convictions.
Withhold federal funding from any post-secondary institution shown to be violating the freedom of expression of its students or faculty.

Where’s Scheer stand on free speech to all you Scheer supporters?

      1. The only ones destroying Freedom of Speech are the Greasy Politicians and the Crooked Black Robed Priests.
All the laws protecting people’s rights are already in the Criminal Code.

        1. Quite so; I don’t understand why the laws of Libel and Slander have suddenly become useless. [OK I do really, it’s not that they are useless, it’s that they are useless to shut down free thinking].

  14. Maxime Bernier tells party faithfuls he will make it into the leaders’ debates

OTTAWA — Maxime Bernier argued to a crowd of flag-waving, cheering candidates and supporters that not inviting him to take part in the official election debates means excluding the only political party leader who has anything different to say.

“It won’t be a real debate if I’m not there,” Bernier, the leader of the People’s Party of Canada, said in his closing speech to his first national convention in Gatineau, Que., on Sunday, where candidates and campaign teams spent three days learning how to attract and motivate voters.

    1. I’m always amazed by Hendrix’s Woodstock performance. Not only is the guitar virtually a part of his anatomy and psyche’ as his fingers just flow with the rhythm AND lead simultaneously with astonishing FEELING … but behind that effortlessness is a technical prowess and musical knowledge that simply blows me away.

And his music is HIS. It is a uniquely creative tour de force.

      1. Yes, Hendrix definitely was one of the best guitarists in his day. Someone once asked Eric Clapton who he thought was the best and Clapton replied Hendrix. I think his body language was very sexy and he was so young fabulous at age 27 here. Sadly, he only had 11 more months to live. He, like many other dead rockers, will always be ‘forever’ young.

Fifty years ago today I saw this whole performance. I remember thinking that it was a shame that hardly anyone was there to see it as most people had already left the concert grounds. He was the highest paid performer there at $18,000. Due to traffic, everything was delayed. Plus, there were many taking drugs so that slowed down things considerably. I watched that concert all weekend and could hardly stay awake, but I just loved it.

To you, my American web pal Kenji, and all Americans reading this, here is Hendrixs’ version of the American National Anthem, the “Star-Spangled Banner!”

Max will spend the majority of his time attacking Scheer.

Max will not get any voters in the middle. He may attract enough conservative voters to deny Scheer the Prime Ministership.
