During the upcoming election campaign, make sure to go your all candidates meetings and ask those seeking office whether they consider Antifa a terrorist organization and whether they would commit to having it listed as such.
In my riding, that would be pointless because we already know what the answer would be. It’ll be a sure thing that the NDP candidate will win and we know what that party’s attitude towards Antifa is.
It is pretty much a given what the NDP’s answer would be. Far more interesting would be to see whether there is any dissention in the ranks in the Liberal party as to the categorization of Antifa.

Ed, I’m not sure/I don’t think, that the government legislates who the terrorist groups are, I think that’s up to the secret service, and national security. If you look at how in the USA, leftist have infiltrated the FBI, CIA and NSA, I can’t imagine it’s much different in Canada. It was extremely rude of Justin Trudeau and or Catherine McKenna to not have met with the Group who came from Western Canada last Winter. They came a great distance, cap in hand, during the coldest part of the year wanting to see and speak to their Government Representatives. Yet, they were treated rudely and were basically ignored, even blocked on the road by paid protesters known as Antifa. Their message was noticed by everyone, regardless. In that way, their trip was in fact, a success. They are a hardy and brave group of people. Prayers were made for their success and safety.
If the Government is ruling for only some Canadians and not all Canadians, they should be replaced by a more responsible group of politicians. This, now, is a shameful part of our history. The Liberals need to be dumped as a Party for what they have done to Western Canada, not once but twice, as it pertains to the Oil Patch. This affects all Canadians. What are they thinking?

I’d rather have my old country back, the one my parents and I came to more than 60 years, and the one we became citizens of. I too, having come here 62 yrs ago, would LOVE to see my old Country back again, the one that was stolen by LIBERALS Pearson and Trudeau. The one where my parents received SFA upon arrival, had to learn a new language, cultural norms and geography and were told it was 10 yrs of permanent residency and proven Continuous employment to even consider applying for Citizenship.
However the old one is gone, replaced with a version of bizzaro world and one that I detest.

Your family and mine had similar experiences. My father came over in 1955 and my mother and I joined him a year later.
My parents expected to earn their keep and pay their way. It came as a pleasant surprise that there were many government benefits that were available to them simply because they were landed immigrants and happened to be parents.
We came to seek opportunities that weren’t available in Europe at the time. Much of that was inspired by Hollywood and the post-war occupation of Germany by the Allies, the Americans being generous with sharing their bounty.
It just happened that Canada’s economy was booming and the government went to Europe to recruit skilled workers. My parents, who were recent journeymen in their respective trades and would have been among those that the country needed at the time.
We eventually became citizens and contributed to this country. Unfortunately, our current government has made what my parents and I did rather pointless.

My heart goes out to the Premier of N.B. who said that he finally felt most welcome amongst other like minded Conservatives. He said he was getting opposition at home. Let’s wish them success in dealing with the Feds.

For me it was another signal that the Liberals only care about their favoured groups guaranteed to vote for them (Muslims, gays, radical feminists). They do not care about Western Canadians.

I was very impressed by what I saw yesterday during a helicopter tour with our Fort McMurray-Cold Lake candidate Matthew @therealmcat above the oil sands operations.
Our oil industry is doing everything it can to safeguard the environment while creating wealth.
When we were building Mildred lake in the seventies, I told everybody who would listen that we were cleaning up Mother Nature’s oil spill. Such talk is no longer so well received as it was then.
