    1. Yes, agreed. People who can’t control their emotions feel the need to control others’ actions and, true to Orwell, their words.
      Throw political power and partisanship into that toxic mess makes it rife ground for fascist totalitarianism.
      As Hayek noted, progressives became conservatives to defeat Naziism, then dumped Churchill et al to return to socialism.
