    1. IJ, if you are implying the two Liberals are going to run for the CPC, I disagree. I don’t know about Philpott, but from her past words and actions, JWR is anything BUT a Conservative. JWR would be as at home in the CPC as Hillary Clinton in the Republican Party.

      If both women join the Greens,they will immediately become heroes to the Left, the msm would fawn over them forever,and they would be practically guaranteed re-election. With three powerful women in the GP, I can see them taking a big bite out of the female vote,and possibly winning a couple of dozen seats. Green in Canada would be as big as Green in Europe, just what we need to finally sink this country .

      2. I can agree with much of your sentiment Mrs Robinson but the reality of the country suggests there is only 1(one) possibility of a defeat of the libranos in October.

        The PPC would have to catch lightning in a bottle to form government. It’s not happening.

        The libranos hard core vote in fishworld, quebeck and Ontario hovers near 40% of all votes cast. That doesn’t change. It almost guarantees majority government.

        I’ve stated here that I like Max and would have preferred he stay and fight on as a member of the CPP. As it stands I will not be supporting him.

        I hold no illusions about what a Scheer lead government may or may not accomplish. When you form government you govern all of the country and are pulled and pushed by the various regions.

  12. When, exactly, was Canada a ‘great nation’? I’m 65 and all I can recall is the country being led by left, far left and moderately left parties. During my lifetime, I have a very difficult time saying or identifying any period that was anything close to ‘great’. Maybe during the last big war we wore some big boy pants, but that was a long, long time ago. And since WW II was before my life began, who am I to say what is was like back then?
