1. The Borg know what they’re doing and their people know what they’re thinking, and it actually makes sense to them.

   IOW polar opposites except for the racist and totalitarian group think part that is.

2. Game of Thrones came to an end with an underwhelming finale that left many disappointed after 8 years. Yet, the disappointed fans seem to look for things to complain about with such an intensity. The latest complaints are over observing a glimpse of a water bottle in a scene. If they would spend that much time inspecting politics, we might not be in the situation as we are today.

   1. Who GAF about Game of Thrones. Yeah, I get there are good shows on TV and that its fun to compare notes. But when it dominates your life it’s time to ask the question, “Is my life interesting? Am I making the most of this precious gift? Or am I destined to live only vicariously through some TV script written by a bunch of lefties.”

7. There seem to be an awful lot of women running for the parties that want to create the new Soviet Union.

   1. The Soviet UNION was never ‘woman friendly’. Some of it’s top executioners, people who could personally stomach putting a bullet behind another person’s ear by the dozens per day, were women. But none of the Polit Bureau or heads of the Red Army or GRU were ever women.
      Women never ran anything or were respected as equals in the UNION of Soviet Socialist Republics. Not surprising really.

8. The Borg have a sense of humour.

   Actually both are fictions, one is from Star Trek,the other from delusions of adequacy shared by bureaucrats.
   Think about it, the European Union, made up of people who have a shared history of Mass Murder,Rapine and family feuds extending over 2000 years.
   A Union exclusively staffed by centred parasites,who take pride in their family history of living large at the expense of other people.

9. To the extent that one’s self could influence the collective, the borg had a smidgen of democracy. Not so for the EU. The bureaucrats and unelected officials direct the collective despite the wishes of those elected to play in the EU Parliamentary sand box.
