  1. The graph that accompanies this article in the National Post claims that the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii has determined that the level of CO2 in the atmosphere above that particular location had risen by 95 PPM since 1960.
    It also claims that it’s the highest level on earth since the dawn of mankind. I once read that if you show up at a dance at 11:55 PM on New Years eve, and leave the dance at one minute after midnight, in relation to the age of our species, you were at the dance longer than mankind has inhabited this Earth.

    2. The age of earth is estimated at 4.5 Billion years, and these loony tune scientists think they know what is going on with 40 years of fake data about a non lethal gas called co2? And people and governments are surrendering to the crazy BS. Lunatic Asylum.

      1. I saw an article on CTV about this story last night. It was accompanied by the usual industrial plants belching steam and pictures of smog in China. Pure BS as they know CO2 is invisible and odorless. The only way human can distinguish it from O2 is it triggers our gasping reflex when levels get too high..

    3. One is a measurement (95 ppm since 1960 and easy to verify) and the other is a claim (highest level since the dawn of mankind and impossible to verify). I’m not even sure of the exact date when mankind “dawned”. But this a trick. You take an observation that is verifiable and use it to justify an outrageous claim. The first truth qualifies the second as truth. A common occurrence in climate science.

He then burns jet fuel to Paris France where he can wine and dine at taxpayer expense. What a great life!

  22. Tim Conway – never uttered a four dollar word. A genuine funny man who didn’t resort to vulgarity to elicit laughter.

    1. Liked his work on The Carol Burnett Show- the best was when he did a comedy sketch with Harvey Korman who could never keep a straight face. Tim would sometimes go off script and throw everyone off.

      I also liked him on McHale’s Navy.

      1. He was funny as Mrs Wiggins. Never resorted to cheap sex jokes the Brits are so famous for when they cross dress.
