He said his review would be far-reaching—that he was obtaining details from congressional investigations, from the ongoing probe by the department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, and even from Mr. Mueller’s work. Mr. Barr said the investigation wouldn’t focus only on the fall 2016 justifications for secret surveillance warrants against Trump team members but would go back months earlier.

It has long appeared to me this whole fiasco was more about fear and self presivation than anything else . People under stress make poor decisions. The FBI , DNC, Hillary and the Obama administration are in a barrel of poop up to their chins . There is no place to duck , so for 2 1/2 years they have been throwing . Never forget Mueller is a former director of the FBI. They never expected to lose . Their undoing was that anyone with a brain realized Tarmac meetings with the AG ,the deletion of texts and emails and the associated hardware destruction really is obstruction of justice and failure to pursue charges is duplicity. I hope they get shoved to the bottom of the barrel.
