  1. I scanned this article and it took no time to find the money shot…”The bad news is…[the authors conclude global warming is getting worse].” Yep, I kid you not. If the glacier continued to shrink global warming is continuing. The fact the the glacier is growing again is a sign that global warming is worse than initially thought.

  2. Best read up on Grand Solar Minimum’s and how the sun affects our climate.
Latest research shows that the approaching Grand Solar Minimums effects will really kick in, in 2020. The coming effects will be worse than the Maunder Minimum. The sun is going quiet, no sunspots. Nothing to do with man at all. Same cycle for millennia.
This research was released in Oct. 2018 and is trying to be censored by the AGW cultists. You are seeing the effects right now in the USA. Flooding etc.

  3. CBC’s Nahlah Ayed ended her report on the after-effects of the cyclone in southern Africa by stating something like* “these are the first victims of a disaster caused by climate change”.

    Fake news indeed.

    * I’m quoting from memory and was preoccupied with the morning kitchen routine when I heard this.

  4. My take from this article? Growing glaciers are just like the stock market. I kid you not, that’s the conclusion.

  5. Won’t matter to the climate Nazis. Shrinking, growing, warm, cold. All the same and requires drastic measures that empower them and make us poorer and less free.

    1. Dead on, Thomas.

And because of these frequent and troubling disruptions to The Narrative, the mots du jour have become increasingly less specific: Global Warming to Climate Change to Extreme Weather.

So, from the perspective of the Eco-parasites and their indispensable useful idiots, absolutely everything can (and should) be interpreted as proof of an anthropogenically induced apocalypse-pending.

  6. Agw, agw, Stormy, Stormy, Russia, Russia, one scam after another. Buut, another tax will fix it. Ocean levels will fall and birds will sing.

    1. Canadians really do need another climate tax.

Them and their fake snow storms need to be exposed.

  7. I am not a scientist but this whole article is bogus. A simple search on Greenland says over the last 6 years the ice mass has been more or less maintained with some loss of sea ice. With there average temperatures listed and the length of the melting season losing 130 feet of ice loss would appear to be impossible. The idea it is being replaced at 130 feet a year is likewise unlikely given the snowfall statics given. ( which are not clear or concise to me but as I can best understand are 1inch per day average which is a long way from 130 feet yearly).

  8. I thought NASA were supposed to be the smartest people in the room (nation)? Imagine if they got SPACE science as WRONG as they’ve got CLIMATE science wrong? Neil Armstrong’s corpse would still be on the moon.

  9. The reaction is the same the Dems/Media have over the Mulleur report. Surprised… turns to disbelief complete with excuses.

  10. Its not about the Environment – it never was.

They use “climate change’ as the catch all bin – does not matter whether its warming or cooling…. thats not the issue at all.

Climate Change & CO2 as the Weapon of choice in this, is one of two methods to Kill Capitalism on the Globalist road to de-populating the planet. (Maurice Strongs most fervent desire). The other weapon is enforced unfettered migration of Predominately Islamics.

You will note that both “weapons” are aimed SOLEY at Western Hemisphere Nations….right.??

  11. That branch of the institutional left masquerading as (fill in government agency) sticks to the approved narrative, that being that despite measurable phenomenon that add evidence to the contrary, the contribution of 120 ppm of additional anthropogenic CO2 has managed to interrupt the cyclical trend of the last 400,000 years and that instead of long periods of recurring glaciations, we now only get warmer. The proof of which is that the same power-crazed institutional left masquerading as governments world wide have purchased the best “consenting science” that trillions of dollars of rent seeking bounty can buy.

  12. I noticed that the growth has been occurring the last two years, but wasn’t reported earlier.
Lies are lies, even by omission.

  13. If the past is any guide, I would not put all my money on either outcome (increasing or decreasing ice) because large decade to decade fluctuations is the best description of the situation since the end of the last major glaciation. The arctic has had intervals with less sea ice than today, as well as some with more. I don’t have the reference at hand but some period like 3,000 BC to 1,000 BC had a more extensive area of open water and certain whale species made it further into the labyrinth of passages between the large islands in our far north. Then came colder climatic periods that drove them out. Those were followed by the relatively mild Medieval Warm Period which seems to have been something like 900-1300 AD and that was followed by the various phases of the Little Ice Age which got particularly icy around the Maunder Minimum which was 1660 to 1710 roughly. The arctic climate stayed colder than present through most of the 19th century and showed a more variable trend in the 20th century. It was relatively mild around 1920 to 1940, then colder for a few decades, and there was a peak of warming (as everybody knows thanks to media reportage) around 2006 to 2012. Since that peak there have been more frequent cold years again. Last summer, Resolute had its lowest average temperature for almost the entire (short) period of record up there and its warmest month came in lower than any other year (since 1948 when they started taking the observations). Cambridge Bay on Victoria Island has a record going back to about 1930 that assists in estimating conditions in that decade. Before that it’s mainly anecdotal but some data from Greenland goes well back.

One really clear indication of how cold the LIA was can be determined from sea ice reaching the coasts of northwest Iceland. That used to happen in the 17th century in most winters and would last for many weeks. It has not been happening at all since about the mid-20th century. I don’t associate that with AGW but with natural variation, and for the same reason Svalbard (Spitsbergen) has shown a marked temperature increase. That one is often discussed as key evidence of climate change, but unless these peripheral warmings spread into the core of the ice basin (which is displaced from the North Pole towards the Beaufort Sea) I don’t think it has much major effect on more important variables, it’s rather like if you turned on your garden hose on the outer edge of a large snow bank in your back yard, it would melt the edges faster but would it have much impact on the whole pile? Not likely. And is human activity the actual cause of the warming? Maybe some fraction of it, but I am guessing 80-90 per cent of it would have happened without us present.
