  1. It seems every are controlled by the left for any length of time time becomes a sh*thole.

  2. Democrat motto:

Running on our record of reviving Biblical plagues for 21st Century California.

Keep re-electing us until you’ve lived through or not, all ten of them.

  3. California needs to be quarantined by the CDC… Nobody allowed out of the Shit-hole without a health clearance… The illegal aliens are not screened for infectious diseases… (The normal documented process is ignored by the US Ninth Circuit).. Once a person becomes documented they can’t leave or re-enter the USA without permission…..The reason becomes obvious…..

Let California dry-up and blow away…

    1. The diseases sometimes get the “medieval” moniker because people in that era lived in squalid conditions without clean water or sewage treatment

I can assure you that under nearly EVERY freeway overpass in CA, there is a squalid (fabulous word) medieval encampment. I was born in a beautiful, nay, GORGEOUS State … I will retire in a squalid shithole. And you cannot blame a single one of my votes for that. It is literally a CRIME what the leftists have done to this State. It is only tolerable in towns where the average home price is well over $1.5M. Anything, below that … and you are living in a drive-by shithole. All the loony leftists live in ultra high end, pricey, suburbs, patrolled by what amounts to a private police force. The smelly homeless people are deposited outside the city limits each night. The leftists all live in sundown towns … where the homeless and brown folk without trust funds are escorted out of town after dark. Ohhh, but they pretend to be all sensitive to the plight of the poor … just not in their towns.

There is an economic and law enforcement WALL around every leftist hipster enclave. They are well protected in their suburban retreats.

    2. You’re right, of course. It’s not just California, though. Seattle and Portland are just as bad as Los Angeles and San Francisco.

I’d also like to echo one of Kenji’s points. I wasn’t born in California, but I did live there for thirty-four years. The first time that I visited San Francisco (December 1971), it was simply a wonderful place. Sunny, warm (well, I’d flown in from the Chicago area), clean, with an appealing culture all its own (and really good food at reasonable prices). I moved to Silicon Valley for graduate school in 1972 and stayed until 2010, with some excursions to Chicago, Atlanta, and London, and, starting in the late 1970s, I watched San Francisco turn into an absolute pit.

  4. Don’t think of it as a health crisis, but, instead, as a wonderful educational opportunity. There’s all that vibrant cultural enrichment one can experience and then there’s the opportunity to experience the past first-hand by being exposed to the same diseases as our ancestors.

    (sarcasm = off)

  5. well at least they spent a lot of $$$$$ so Mueller could prove Pouteen isn’t the rightful president of th USSA

  6. But health officials and homeless advocates said more needs to be done, including helping people access medical and behavioral health care and affordable housing

So what’s “affordable” to a homeless person with no job, mental illness, and an “independent spirit” that prevents them from living in a shelter already provided by the taxpayers? Ohhhh yeahhhhh … the word isn’t “affordable” … it’s FREE housing. The homeless advocates want FREE housing. Yep, that’s the next step in the State’s coddling of the “homeless”. Sorry. This State is already a magnet for LOSERS without giving them more FREE SHIT!!

    1. It’s literally “free shit” that is spreading the diseases. Nature will take its course, i.e. epidemics culling the population.

  7. Hey, they voted for suicide; let them have it. There are no homeless latrines on Pelosi’s estate, but they keep voting for her. None of California’s problems will ever affect the governor, and the governor has never fixed anything, but they keep voting for more.

    Let them have it.

  8. “People living on the streets or in homeless shelters are vulnerable to such outbreaks because their weakened immune systems are worsened by stress, malnutrition and sleep deprivation. Many also have mental illness and substance abuse disorders, which can make it harder for them to stay healthy or get health care.”

Translation: the carriers of typhus are drunks, junkies, lunatics, or a combination of the three.

Drinking, using, or repeating the words of the angels in their heads telling them Donald Trump is a Jew who drinks the blood of black babies takes up enough of their time that they never find any for basic hygiene.

Activist judges have seen to it that the only way to lock a lunatic up somewhere where he will be forced to take a goddamn bath once a week is to prove he’s murdered someone.

    1. gotta admit A C, sometimes your posts induce a sense of wry ummm, ‘humour’ based on realities.
I wonder if the californicate mandarins ever experience anything resembling that.

  9. So maybe it won’t be the “big one” that will take out California, but rather this kind of crap. Whatever it takes, I guess, although the “big one” would stay local.
