Terror related arrests in Kingston;

One of the houses belonged to a refugee family that fled to Canada from Syria. The family, whose adult son was arrested but not charged, was sponsored by four churches, including Our Lady of Lourdes church.
 
According to documents from the church, the family was sponsored by the congregation to come to Canada in 2016. The church helped the family, which was originally from Damascus, Syria, travel to Kingston from Kuwait.
 
Bronek Korcynski oversaw the church’s sponsorship of the family, which lasted a year. He said the son of the family was arrested in the raid.

They’re shocked, of course.

      Read an article at McLeans this morning about McCallum and his free gifts from China, totalling $73,000 . The columnist gives the example of free vacations given to three Conservative MP’s given a vacation to Taiwan when Harper was PM, to influence their opinion on a matter concerning trade agreements. The author was very adamant about them being CONSERVATIVE MP’s.

      When a few paragraphs later he gets to the McCallum case,it is mentioned that McC WAS a former MP in Ottawa, NO PARTY AFFILIATION mentioned!

      This is the typical sneaky journalistic bullshit committed by the media every day. The message was :the CONSERVATIVES accepted gifts, were CORRUPT, so did McCallum, who was an MP from ???? Party. Greens? NDP? Block? Communists? Surely NOT the Liberals!

      At the bottom of the page,it turns out that the columnist is the husband of a LIBERAL MP in Ottawa. No bias there at all.

  10. Watched the coverage on this on CBC Morning news, with Heather Hiscox. The pro-Islamist Ceeb managed to interview the perp’s father, who parroted the usual line, that “…my sons would never do such a thing”, etc., etc. The pro-war-crimes propaganda is only getting started on this.

    P.s., the perps’ father also said that “they (the RCMP) are the real terrorists”. This is from CBC News.

      1. Yes, it will make a difference. The Conservatives are not out to undermine Canada and Canadian values. Liberals have abandoned even any token recognition of the importance of our traditional heritage and values. Liberals are promoting diversity to the point where it is divisive. You need only look at the Harper government’s willingness to see the symbolic importance of removing a face mask during the citizenship oath to see that there is a big difference. Liberals are now run by the globalist elite at the UN. Canadian concerns are secondary.

          1. The conservatives are just slightly slier about it. The don’t reduce immigration and they don’t stop “affirmative action” hiring. They pander to their base to pretend they care, but they don’t slow down immigration by one little bit.

        2. Harper was not as totally anti-Canadian as Trudeau and the Liberals, but he was much worse than a lot of people want to believe. Not only did he raise regular immigration levels to new highs, he expanded the so-called Temporary Worker Program far beyond anything seen before, and created new classes of business immigration and “international student” visas intended (and promoted) as a “pathway to citizenship”. Harper was our George W. Bush; Justin is only making official what Harper had already mostly allowed.

          What could we expect in the unlikely event Andrew Scheer forms a government? He’d probably tighten up the refugee situation somewhat, and he’d deport a few more criminals. Other than that, he’d pretty much leave Justin’s policies in place.

  14. I attend a protestant church that has co-sponsored a refugee family from Syria. They are all special needs and are reconnected to their family here.

    When we were given the details of the sponsorship “demands”, the most glaring and infuriating condition from the “Government” was that we are forbidden from proselytizing.

    We can’t say a word about Jesus. We can’t say that the Nation of Canada is such a wonderful and desirable and orderly place to live because our nation is founded and run on Christian and Jewish laws of governance. Equality of personal value is the God-given right that each person is endowed with and upheld by the laws of the land. We can be prosecuted for this.

    Is it any wonder why the presenter and point on this “project” was so offended when my wife and I expressed our opposition to agreeing that we could never tell this family about Him whom we served and owe our lives to? The stunned look on her face was embarrassing and priceless.

    There is another fundraising party for the family coming up soon. We won’t be attending, once again!!!

Given the other moves by this godless cabal currently running the country, I think churches should back of of involvement with the refugee project. There are other ways to help, including donating to help refugees living in camps.

      1. In the U.S. there’s a patriation program of some sort that pays churches to settle immigrants here. I need to do some research and start resisting that policy. Catholic churches brought in several hundred somalis here about ten years ago. Social services are scant and well managed so the somalis have since scattered. I have no doubt my taxes continue to pay for them somewhere. But, I’m glad they’re gone. Unwashed, unread and entirely misogynistic. Good riddance. I promise you they never set foot in any Christian church while they were here.

  23. The takeaway for me is the useful idiots of the churches, thinking they are doing God’s work in sponsoring what has effectively become a Trojan horse. I’d even go so far as to call it willful suicide. The Catholic schools even have the children involved, hosting bake sales and bottle drives in support of the parish’s new token brown families, who, upon arrival, are primarily concerned with where the nearest mosque is located and NOT the next date of St. Alphonsus’s pancake breakfast / C.W.L. goose feather pillow raffle.

    It is a futile exercise of the Catholic church in virtue signalling. Small wonder that like the Anglicans, the Catholic church is rapidly on the path to becoming only marginally Christian. On a personal note, while arguing the migrant issue with progressive family members, I usually quiz them as to where are the cries to bring war ravagged Ukrainians to Canada, being more Ukrainians were displaced by war than those in Syria. (however the numbers may have changed in the last while). Which is usually followed by the rebuttal of “I never heard that on the news”. Sigh….

They are aiming to change the very fabric of Canada with people who have a hard time assimilating, especially when we have policies that encourage the opposite under Multiculturalism.
