  1. The previous President would have had his wife hold up a little hand made sign. This President is not one to be trifled with. (Substitute trifled with a more appropriate word of your choice)

    1. Yes, the previous U.S. president agreed with Maduro’s philosophy, as do AOC, De Blasio, Newsome and the new school Democrats. Trudeau, Butts and smiling Bill Morneau are also in this camp.

Trudeau et all still try to hide it, but the Dems not so much.

What is happening in Venezuela is a perfect example of what the right needs to highlight as the impact of these policies.

This is where we are headed if they win.

    1. Yes, I’m sure he’s shaking in his boots, now that PM Thoy Boy and Barney Freeland have gotten mad at Maduro…………

      1. Remember, Prinz Dummkopf publicly declared that he’d stare down Putin if ever there was a dispute with Russia. Maduro must be hiding under his desk at the prospect of being the recipient of a 50 Megaton rebuke from His Majesty.

    2. Maduro’s only ally is, uh……..China. That makes for some interesting moments ahead. Park a carrier fleet off the coast on maneuvers and if they attack the embassy, hit ’em like they’ve never seen before. Then install a mean sonofabitch dictator who is friendly to our side.

He can tell the citizens they live in the Socialist republic of Venezuela, but with toilet paper and food.

  2. Using the armed forces of the United States to overthrow Maduro and bring his gang to justice is already an appropriate action.

That, and only that, will make sure that Venezuela’s oil does not fall into Chinese hands. Under no circumstances must Maduro be replaced with a liberal or globalist willing to honour a single cent of Venezuela’s alleged debt to Maduro’s Chinese paymasters, contracted without the consent of the Venezuelan people.

Beijing is acquiescing to Guaido’s more-or-less peaceful rise to power in hope that foreclosure on Venezuela’s wealth goes smoothly. (Venezuelan dollar bonds have risen over the last few weeks in the hope of just this.)

If he is wise, President Trump will already have made other plans.

If the dragon wants to gorge on Venezuela’s carcass, let it come and fight for its supper.

    1. why would China care about oil from Venezuela? they can have all they want from Canada.

    1. Forget Seals, all of Venezuela is not worth a life of one of them. A cruise missile though….

  3. 1. I LOVE the Trump Admin. and his choice of a fully toxified MAN named Pompeo as Sec. of State … I don’t even remember the name of the metrosexual he replaced.
    2. I am going to start respecting State Dept. Employees, whom I regard as cocktail party lightweights who are good at promising taxpayer dollars to shitholes across the planet. Kudos to all who could be putting their lives on the line for an ignorant bus driver turned Presidente’ (for life).

  4. “Trump Makes the Right Decision for Venezuela,” claims Bloomberg.

If he is praising Trump, watch out.

“Trump has also worked closely with [Little] Marco Rubio to plan for Venezuela’s transition…Rubio has pressed for a plan to flood Venezuela with economic relief once Maduro is out of power. He has also stressed the importance of providing Maduro a way to leave office cleanly, by traveling to a third country.”

    Has he now?

Then let me again stress the importance of installing an anti-communist, anti-globalist patriot in Caracas, with a mandate to clean house—and start putting communists to death. They planned to show the bourgeoisie no mercy. They deserve none themselves. That’s what Pinochet did in Chile. It worked.

Free passage to Bolivia? No. Make Maduro decide if he wants to blow his own tiny brain out or make Venezuelan patriots do it for him. Either way, he must be brought to justice, and the footage of the slaughter put on social media as a warning to leftists worldwide.

To keep his country free, the chief magistrate must make it as suicidal to be a communist or globalist agent in his commonwealth as it is to be a Christian in north Korea. And that’s plenty.

    1. Just put … HER … in charge of Maduro. She’ll give him a hilarious death. Worthy of much laughter … HER … laughter. She’ll turn Maduro loose in public, then turn an armed squad loose to find him and make him eat a bullet. HER hands will be clean of MURDER … all Arkanscidy-like

      1. Kenji, I guess the flooding of Venezuela with economic relief would consist of more billions of borrowed money to be taken from American taxpayers at a later date.

        1. I don’t think so. Why? … Donald J. Trump. Remember how we’ve been told (screamed at) that ALL American WARS and “interventions” were ALL ABOUT OIL … STEALING poor people’s OIL!!!!! Trump is smart-enough to actually extract PAYMENT for our rescue operations by siphoning-off a FAIR and JUST amount of OIL.

Socialist IDIOT bus driver Maduro took his countries oil production from (approx.) 4.5M barrels/day to the current 1M barrels/day. Trump will soon have Venezuela pumping 5M barrels/day.

    1. Well, yes. Beijing wants its money back. They won’t get it back with Maduro in power. So Beijing will not oppose his ouster, as long as his replacement does not oppose Beijing’s foreclosure on Venezuela’s oil wealth.

      1. Foreclosure? NO! Repayment? It’s only fair. Trump will open the spigot on Venezuelan oil (via a return of American parts and technical prowess) and China will get repaid.

Once again … Trump is triangulating multiple world problems and bad actors against one-another to do GOOD in the world. I know you will disagree with me, but that IS America’s role and responsibility in the world (see: Pompeo’s speech in Cairo). As the lone superpower we have an obligation to secure world peace and prosperity … HOWEVER … NOT at the COST of American Freedom, Liberty, and prosperity. We DO NOT need to KILL our middle class to build China’s middle class. Each country needs to find their own way to prosperity without displacing ours.

  5. Zerohedge’s coverage:

Note the shooting of 4 that’s mentioned in Barinas, that’s Chavez’ home town, his base is still strong there and always took a majority of votes, probably without even having to cheat.

Many have mentioned how Venezuelans voted for this, keep in mind that some people have found numerous accounts of cheating, many thousands of people born on the 1st of the month with wildly outlandish ages (160! and still voting) … and electronic voting machines that refused to show the same result as the paper it had just printed.

and the general populace, have has been mostly disarmed.

  6. I hope there is a helicopter assault carrier already in position off the coast. It will embolden the populace and tell maduro he’s finished like nothing else can.

All of the lenders to Chavez and Maduro should be given a haircut to the tune of the estimated amount of graft involved in the lending to those two regimes. Interest on the remaining balance should be re-negotiated to a lower level.
