  1. Pulling & Pushing. Have worked jobs with Mammoet. Rapid Bridge Replacements. Fun stuff.
That’s a big ass machine. Nice to see we still make stuff in this country.

    1. Wow! Agreed.

It looked to me like the inside dual in row thirteen in the front section was low on air.

  2. I struck me that while conservative type, toxic, blue-collar workers do magnificent things such as this, liberal types are busy studying each other’s genitals all day to try to discover another gender that they may not yet know about.

For the the children, of course. We must make certain that they are raised in the correct gender.

With so many to choose from nowadays it would be easy to make a horrid mistake and accidentally raise the child to be hetro.

  3. Fort Saskatchewan is a 10 minute drive from Edmonton. But they have to drive like 100 km to get there because of weight and clearance issues. I suspect there will be more than a few electrical outages as lines are dropped as it goes by.

  4. Hats off to the driver. I’ve had drivers at my place unable to backup a pup-trailer 150 feet.

  5. I just got an email from friends soaking up the sun in Arizona that this splitter is going to a company that their engineer son works for.

  6. UNREAL!

    How did they load it?

    How will they unload it?

Will it be stood upright? If so, how?

    Utterly amazing.

  7. Just to temper enthusiasm, this project is going ahead because of an initiative of the current NDP government to interfere in the market place back in 2015 and boost energy processing in the province of Alberta. So it involves government subsidies. Nothing happens in Canuckistan today without government involvement. This project is not the result of growing marketplace demand for the finished products.

  8. **Strathcona County RCMP said they had not received complaints regarding the movement or storage of the equipment, nor did the Department of Transportation.**

But if there’s a VICTIM the media will find one…

**Some motorists raised concerns over the storage site for the splitter on Monday.
Motorist Russ Burrell said 200 people had stopped over the course of 90 minutes to view and take pictures of the equipment as vehicles sped by on the highway beside a staging area off Highway 21 on Monday.**

  9. That petrochemical splitter looks like the Saturn V rocket when it’s lying on its side.

  10. Heh. They ought to haul that thing around the DC Beltway during rush “hour”. Or park it on Parliament Hill in support of Truckers for Pipelines…

  11. I was wondering what the machine with a lamprey mouth was as I saw watched it sitting outside the assembly plant for the last month or so. Now I know what it is and watched it be moved. Impressive all around. I wonder what the internal structure is that it can handle the massive stresses it will get on its way to the site.
