Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Pulling & Pushing. Have worked jobs with Mammoet. Rapid Bridge Replacements. Fun stuff.
That’s a big ass machine. Nice to see we still make stuff in this country.
Wow! Agreed.
It looked to me like the inside dual in row thirteen in the front section was low on air.
Haa. How’d you like to be the guy that has to retourque the lug nuts.
Well, I suppose he gets his hours.
I struck me that while conservative type, toxic, blue-collar workers do magnificent things such as this, liberal types are busy studying each other’s genitals all day to try to discover another gender that they may not yet know about.
For the the children, of course. We must make certain that they are raised in the correct gender.
With so many to choose from nowadays it would be easy to make a horrid mistake and accidentally raise the child to be hetro.
Fort Saskatchewan is a 10 minute drive from Edmonton. But they have to drive like 100 km to get there because of weight and clearance issues. I suspect there will be more than a few electrical outages as lines are dropped as it goes by.
You wouldn’t see this anywhere else in the world.
I thought it looked like a new jet engine. Maybe to revive the Avro:-)))
I was thinking of the mighty Saturn V rocket of the Apollo program.
Was that precast concrete aboard, or steel?
Hats off to the driver. I’ve had drivers at my place unable to backup a pup-trailer 150 feet.
UnMe is scared to park a pickup.
I just got an email from friends soaking up the sun in Arizona that this splitter is going to a company that their engineer son works for.
UNREAL!
How did they load it?
How will they unload it?
Will it be stood upright? If so, how?
Utterly amazing.
The answer to all three questions – “Very carefully.”
Just to temper enthusiasm, this project is going ahead because of an initiative of the current NDP government to interfere in the market place back in 2015 and boost energy processing in the province of Alberta. So it involves government subsidies. Nothing happens in Canuckistan today without government involvement. This project is not the result of growing marketplace demand for the finished products.
Suncor just announced production will increase by 13% in 2019.
**Strathcona County RCMP said they had not received complaints regarding the movement or storage of the equipment, nor did the Department of Transportation.**
But if there’s a VICTIM the media will find one…
**Some motorists raised concerns over the storage site for the splitter on Monday.
Motorist Russ Burrell said 200 people had stopped over the course of 90 minutes to view and take pictures of the equipment as vehicles sped by on the highway beside a staging area off Highway 21 on Monday.**
That petrochemical splitter looks like the Saturn V rocket when it’s lying on its side.

All fake, those are little toy trucks from Trudeau’s sand box.
Heh. They ought to haul that thing around the DC Beltway during rush “hour”. Or park it on Parliament Hill in support of Truckers for Pipelines…

I was wondering what the machine with a lamprey mouth was as I saw watched it sitting outside the assembly plant for the last month or so. Now I know what it is and watched it be moved. Impressive all around. I wonder what the internal structure is that it can handle the massive stresses it will get on its way to the site.
That’s a powerful display of co-ordinated driving
I’m positive the front trailer had more wheels than the rear.
