  1. Nothing will change until we boot the Dippers out of office and, better yet, completely destroy their party in the next provincial election. Red Rachel may say she supports us, but her actions say otherwise. Once that happens, we’ll work on doing the same to Prinz Dummkopf and his Keystone Kops cabinet.

I’m tired of paying danegeld to Quebec. We’ve been forking over money to the Laurential elitist ingrates for at least 40 years and, being the extortionists they are, they not only demand that we keep paying, regardless of our circumstances, they want even more.

I want a new arrangement for Alberta. I doubt, however, that anything will happen as long as we remain in Confederation. I hope to live long enough to be able to fly my Rupert’s Land flag over a free and independent nation.

    1. Nothing will change even if we vote out the liarberals. Joe Two will do nothing to end the welfare entitlement state. I want what you want. A New Dominion. A free and independent nation. One where all are treated equally and the rule of law is not just a token concept. Let Freedom Reign!

      1. Here is a FB group I just joined. Alberta Separatism.
        https://www.facebook.com/groups/787909081545196/

I too have had more than enough of ABJECT ASSholes named TRUDEAU.
I got laid off Christmas Eve 1981….and it took me 6 years to finish my Journeyman Ticket as a Welder. One could not BUY a freaking job – ended up driving a cab for those years and evenually went to SAIT and took an Engineeing Technologist course…and still ended up leaving Alberta for Ontario as the work simply was not here. Returned in 1997.

There is no way Alberta or Saskatchewan will ever be given a Square deal with the Laurtentien ELITE – Aint EVER gonna Happen….so why do we sit here and FRET, getting on our knees hoping they will throw us a bone.? (no pun intended)

Butts said it in late 2014, when queried as to how many pipelines would get built – his answer..? “none” No one was listening….

Well…?? FUCK EM ALL. Enough of this arrogant shit on Alberta stance….from the East as well as from BC. Time for our own Country: Sakatchewan – Alberta – Yukon

I am 1000% ALL in on this – and am not going to be swayed otherwise.
That 2 Bit efette Eunuch bastard (truly), has cost me my livlihood.
        A TRUDEAU again..!!
        MAD.? ANGRY.? better believe it.

        1. I went through similar circumstances as you. After I lost my job in Saskatoon in ’82, my employment during the 1980s was one year on, one year off and it didn’t matter who the Prime Minister was. (Things didn’t improve for me when Lyin’ Brian was in charge.) That continued until 1989 when I began my teaching position.

That left a few holes in my CV. After I quit teaching, I looked for another job. One potential employer held my 1980s work record against me, claiming I was an “unstable” employee. That twit wasn’t even in the country at the time and had no idea of what it was like back then. He didn’t even accept my telling him that times were tough for engineers during that decade, figuring that one had to be a lousy worker to lose a job under any circumstances.

It turned out I was wasting my time with him. He already knew who he wanted to hire and, likely, met with me to claim that he spoke with “all” candidates.

  2. Lots of booing when mayor Nenshi tried to speak at the rally in Calgary today at noon. Especially when he was speaking in French, saying he had a message for Quebec. If he had spoken in English, he may have had a better response.

When was the last time a Quebec native sent a message of importance to the rest of Canada in anything other than their mothertongue?

  3. I didn’t see a single brick thrown, no molotov cocktails, no federal buildings burnt. In other words, people just wasting their Sunday, hoping that maybe this time the leeches back east will take note. Wasted effort. They won’t.

  4. I went to the energy rally in Calgary today. Good crowd.

Unfortunately the city council and mayor speeches were very disappointing. There, that’s the nicest thing I’ll say about their sadsack performance today.

First they (mayor and council) asked the crowd to shout “Build our Future” not “Build that Pipe”
Next a counsellor spoke and said “city council interrupted our very important meetings to show support for the energy industry”
Then our embarrassment of a mayor, Mr. Nenshi. said (I’m summarizing): let’s be good Canadians, let’s not talk boycotts, let’s not attack Quebec. The mayor of Quebec City is one of our biggest fans. We must continue our efforts to educate Canadians, one at a time, about our industry.
I could go on but I’m getting sick.

It was obvious that mayor has gone to the Justin Turdeau school of virtue signalling. Much of the crowd was annoyed with this and mayor Nonsenseshi was interrupted several times by booing and group shouts of “build that pipe”. He got visibly angry with the crowd. Nice to see that people were not buying the speech from the so called “smartest man in the room”

“No TNN”: No Turdeau, No Nutley, No Nonseneshi They all got to go. And Alberta must separate.

The Calgary Police did a good job and blocked off one of the major streets to facilitate the rally. That was good to see.

    1. “No TNN”: No Turdeau, No Nutley, No Nonseneshi They all got to go.

While we’re at it, they can be joined by that useless city council we have in Edmonton. “Refugees” who don’t have the proper documentation get to stay here and use city facilities while their papers are being processed back home. That was inflicted upon us without our (i. e., the voters) consent.

Deporting them might “jeopardize” their lives, or so I was told by my ward alderman’s brainless assistant. She didn’t appreciate my comment that I pay taxes and I vote.

  5. Fully behind a boycott as I have refused to buy anything from those blood sucking leaches for years anyway

    1. I’m with ya, but what do they actually produce that I would ever be likely to buy??
Not in the market for a Bombardier product…. Maple Syrup can be had from a variety of sources. Do they actually make anything there??
I’d love to find something to boycott….anybody help me here?

      1. Cheeses and other dairy products. Fur coats. Paintings and objects d’art by Quebec Artists in upper end Calgary Shops. Inuit Soapstone Carvings. Canoes and hockey sticks. Clothing. Look at labels. You can impact them big time.

        1. And the Quebec economy declines and guess what…they get more in transfer payments! No more transfer payments. No more! I vote for a free and independent Alberta and Saskatchewan! Then a mechanism for other jurisdictions to join us.

        2. I used to buy Quebec cheese throughout the year and often at Christmas as gifts. There were cheeses I really liked. But No More.

Same with BC wine. No More.

      2. Well, most of the dairy products we have in B.C. come from Quebec, even our famous “Fraser Valley ” butter with the pic of the mountains and contented cows grazing.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Quebec

They have quite a diverse economy, apparently. They might not notice if we boycotted them.

My own personal retaliation will be to NOT cheer for the Montreal Canadiens, even though their captain is a good B.C. lad.

  6. Trudeau is a tool for the cabal with an agenda running the affairs of this country, he hasn’t got enough knowledge or brainpower to realize the damage being done to every facet of our lives across the country.
In two weeks we’ll be paying that carbon tax on everything we need to survive. At this point I’d need a Gravol to look at or listen to the gormless twit we known as “Climate Barbie”.

    What a freaking disaster.

    1. he hasn’t got enough knowledge or brainpower to realize the damage being done to every facet of our lives across the country

On top of that, he doesn’t give a rat’s you-know-what. If any of the unwashed suffer because of his policies, it’s because they made bad c choices. He’s just like Daddy.

      1. Sorry but his dad, although a Classic Arrogant French ASShole…at least had some smarts.
His disguating spawn is not even close in intelligence nor capable of even public speaking…just an Indoctrinated NPC Socialist IMBECILE spouting useless cliches.

A caricature of 17th Century French Aristocracy, He fully deserves a date with a Guillotine…

    2. You, are right of course. Good of you to notice and make good points.
How is it though that the Q’beckers and Tarians don’t seem to get it?
Could it be that they are addicted to the gimme.

      1. That’s how PET kept winning elections. He knew where there enough voters to who’d fall for his promises. Once he got them on his side, the rest of the country didn’t matter.

It was very frustrating to live in western Canada, cast my ballot as was my duty as a citizen, and then find out that there was no point because the election was over by the time the polls closed out here.

        1. Yes,BA-R, but isn’t it decent of them to NOT broadcast the election results back East until after 8 PM pacific time. They are SO careful to protect our feeble malleable little minds.

“D-uh, Newfoundland voted Liberal so I’m a gonna go out and vote Liberal too!”

They are saving us from ourselves.

    3. I actually think he does know the damage he is doing. Yes he’s a whiny, childish narcissist, but I think that he is aware enough to see the dire effects his policies / lack of policies are having. He WANTS the western economy to tank (except BC of course; lots of communist Chinese money is funneled through for the Liberal party). That way, he can implement policies to usher in more centralized control; the Trans Mountain pipeline purchase is just the beginning. He is totally contemptuous of Alberta and Saskatchewan. He despises us and believes that we should be poor, powerless rubes to be exploited whenever the Federal government sees fit. This is Daddy Pierre all over again. The effects we now are feeling (e.g. the crashing fossil fuel sector and the divisiveness he has generated & allowed to flourish between regions of Canada) are the destabilizing effects that he and his cabal like to see: we’re easier to control that way. This is the beginning of the Liberal jackboot stomping on our throats forever.

      1. Oakgeo
        NAILED IT…. 100% on PURPOSE

In Full Globalist pursuit of a TRANS National State
In Full pursuit of destroying Capitalism (aka Climate Change) via the Complete Destruction of Western Oil and Gas resource Industry.
In Full pusuit of a Basic Chinese style dictatorship (WTF else do you call M-103 coupled with UN compact on Migration and a Somali Immigration mInister…..I mean SERIOUSLY folks.?) .
In Full pursuit of SHARIA Law in Canada.

TREASON on more than one account….

        1. The worst part is that he never campaigned on those issues nor did he receive an electoral mandate to pursue them. He, and that traitorous bunch of incompetents he calls a cabinet, unilaterally went ahead without consulting the voters.

          1. B A Deplorable Rupertslander: It would be nice if the cabinet woke up and smelt the coffee and told Trudope he was incompetent and have a NON confidence vote!!! How can Canadians wake up the Cabinet….VOTE OUT THE LIE-BRALS IN 2019…VOTE OUT TRUDOPE IN 2019!!

  7. The next step is to block transportation through Alberta. The caravans should block all commercial traffic on the transCanada and other highway routes as well as rail traffic. Alberta should export its own products to or through the US.

  8. You only need to build the pipeline as far as the Ontario border with K Bec. Then fill it with liquid shit.

    1. Quebec, hypocrites of the highest order, dump the raw sewage/shit right into the St Lawrence and get on their high horse about the pipeline being a threat to the environment.
Alberta needs to grow a spine or build a wall and refuse to pay a penny to Equalization. Enough is enough.

      1. Liz, Alberta needs it’s own Army if it is to accomplish anything in the way of wall building or blockading. The Federal Liberal government has approximately 4200 RCMP Occupation troops in place, ready to obey orders from the East.

    2. Awww thanx for that Buddy..!!
      ya lifted my sour spirits…!!
LMAO…theres one pipeline I would inspect at NO CHARGE..!!

  9. The majority of K Becers don’t care about anyone else in the country. They fake solidarity with Ontario and New Brunswick French speakers. Trudeau exemplifies it every single day. Their stranglehold on the federal bureaucracy is astounding.

    1. “Their stranglehold on the federal bureaucracy is astounding.”
That was a stated thrust by PET, the husband of Justin’s mother, and he accomplished it beyond his wildest dreams. And it isn’t over yet.

      1. Justin, the only PMs that were any good were from Quebec: Turdeau, Mulroney, Chretien, Paul Martin.
        – a dilettante
        – a crook
        – a crook
        – and just incompetent

feel free to match the description to the name

      2. I like how he disregarded Sir Robert Borden and Mackenzie King. Oh, they only guided this country through two world wars, so I guess they didn’t accomplish much, did they?

  10. Politicians lead from behind. Therefore Canadian must learn to push hard to make our voices heard.

  11. Alberta and Saskatchewan are negotiating this through the media, from a weak position. Negotiating at Premier’s – Prime Minister meetings for 2 generations, and we have nothing to show for it. Nothing.

Central Old Canada imports + $50 Billion in goods from China each year, if the 6 railways from BC into Alberta and through to central Canada were 100% blocked until a settlement was made that includes access to both oceans, Alberta – Saskatchewan would be negotiating from the position of strength.

Quebec feels no shame for this, negotiating through the media won’t effect any positive change.

I’d prefer to separate the west, and negotiate a trade agreement that includes this. I believe people close to Jason Kenney are reporting on those advocating for separation, it’s in all the newspapers, saying how stupid we are for this.

Keep up the pressure. Nothing has even been blocked yet, except for the west’s progress.

  12. In Canada, it will never again be possible to build a mine, pipeline, railway, highway, hydroelectric dam, nuclear reactor, factory,…

If you want any of those things, you have to leave Canada. That is all there is to it. Any “leader” who is not working towards that end, is your enemy.

    1. In Canada, it will never again be possible to build a mine, pipeline, railway, highway, hydroelectric dam, nuclear reactor, factory,…

Unless it’s in Quebec, where the rules for the ROC don’t apply.

      1. And there is never any look, let alone a hard one, as to the negative aspects of said facility. Ottawa needs to take a VERY hard look at the amount of pollution coming from Quebec’s “clean” hydro reservoirs.

  13. “been to the Calgary gathering.
There were points that were well said.

When the mayor started there was much moaning in disapproval, then he was hogging the time.
It was ok, though as you may have expected there was a lot of love and togetherness from the political bottom.
There was a loud guy that irritated the talkers a bit.
Instead pushing forward with the pipe, other than the chant, it was pretty weak, it was relatively massive from the crowd point.
Hardly if at all anybody from the industry.
A lot of police around to prevent the seniors and the office workers from starting some serious mayhem.

Heard on the talking radio, that nobody east of Saskatchewan knows and cares. The talking head saying what’s the point.
The talking heads talk so stupid it is amazing that they got the job.
A news guy of course, manufactured some points, its what news does, if they don’t know they fake it and nobody knows that does not pay attention.

It was a good show of people power though.

  14. For his entire political career, Jerry Brown has PUNISHED automobile drivers for choosing a “dirty” means of getting to their jobs and grocery store. Not by STOPPING OIL … but by making life miserable for automobile drivers by;

Allowing roads to deteriorate by diverting road taxes into mass transit
Spending ungodly resources on a *ha ha* “high speed” (never more than 72mph ave.) train
    Lawsuits to stop freeway widening
Taking 10x longer to replace half the bay bridge than it took to build the whole bridge in the 1930’s
    Carbon taxes
    Quadrupling of bridge tolls
    Doubling automobile registration fees
    Doubling State gasoline taxes
Increasing fines for moving violations to crushing amounts (minimum $350.00 fines)
Diverting all these auto related fees into mass transit

Attacking the users of petrol, with the most REGRESSIVE taxation possible on the poor and middle class of CA.

  15. The warm and fuzzy and all knowing mayor also said: buy Q’bec cheese.
Did I mention a lot of love and togetherness?

  16. Every Canadian with even an ounce of a functioning brain should ask themselves what kind of pm would have as his top adviser a moron who is dedicated to the destruction of Canada’s oil and gas sector . True Canadians have to take our country back before it is too late . We conservatives have been much too polite and must now speak up . I firmly believe we are in the fight of our lives . Call out those so called progressives at every opportunity and don’t back down ..they will destroy this beautiful country ……………….

  17. Sounds like everybody at the Calgary Rally needed a big shot of Geritol. Next time you go to any rally, be heard. Take Bull Horns, pots and pans and when they speak drown out the shepards like the Bullsh*t mayor or any other of the greasy politicians that come to calm the herd. Just keep chanting we want out. we want out.
Never do any negotiations with Ottawa or Edmonton for that matter they are just dirty greasy politicians.
Start a drive to get a UDI going and don’t take no for an answer. Canada is a Communist Gulag, it is not a true Democracy.
I guarantee you start a Big Public Drive a Province wide petition for a UDI those greasy b*stards will wake up and listen. In the mean time shut down the Trans Canada to all truck traffic and start blockading rail lines east and west.
If the Indians can so can you.
Your Canada is gone you need to take a stand.

  18. Truly there should be two referendum questions.
    1. Do you want Alberta to separate from its union with Canada and form its own sovereign nation? Yes or No
    2. Do you want Quebec to be removed from its union with Canada and set on its own as a sovereign nation. Yes or No
If Alberta or any other province wants to separate from Canada the Quebec Referendum provided a mechanism to begin that process. But what if a majority of Canadians decided that they no longer wanted Quebec in the federation? Do we have the right to keep our country and expel one of its parts? Quebeckers demanded the right to vote on their participation in Canada so it stands to reason that the Rest of Canada should have the right to make the same choice. We should be able to vote on Quebec’s continued membership. Quebeckers might not like the result of such a vote.

  19. Just like the poor suckers in Oshawa who think GM isn’t going to leave.

Like Unifor supporting the Liberals I mean fighting the conservatives for 14 years in Ontario and now turning even harder against them. Not a drop of blood to spare for the bastards who created the situation in the first place.

    1. Brad
Yes the police were there with video cameras and still cameras. I saw 2 taking pictures and possibly 2 more.

        1. Are folks suggesting that concerned citizens perhaps publish the names and addresses of these unionized glorified security guards so that even more concerned citizens might pay them a visit to have a chat?

Now, now, that wouldn’t be very compliant, would it? 😉

  20. The case for western separatism may be strong, but it won’t really work unless somehow all of western Canada can be persuaded to support it. Support in some parts of B.C. might be lukewarm compared to AB or SK, while opposition in coastal B.C. (and probably the socialist-leaning west Kootenay region) would be strong.

My feeling is, the animosity between B.C. and Alberta could be greatly diminished if there’s a return to a Liberal government in B.C. and a conservative government in Alberta, then these two sit down and hammer out an agreement on this pipeline (still a possibility).

That would return the resentment situation more to east-west relations and there, I see no cure for that, eastern Canada will always see western Canada as a sort of minor add-on to their Laurentian magnificence, lucky to be included if only as spectators. I’ve lived in both worlds so I know first hand what the attitudes are. As an outsider, I have the advantage of being fully immersed in neither, but I would prefer to live in a less globalist political realm, whatever flag flew over it.

    1. I disagree Peter. Each Province will have to step up to the plate on their own. No need to lump in everyone together.
Each Province stand up alone and say enough. If there are like minded people in other Provinces that will support you good. If not stay the course.
Do not let Ottawa or the stacked SCOC or any other court set the rules.
Remove all their control and go full UDI. When you have the level of support they will listen.
You do not need Ottawa’s permission or Edmonton’s permission to do this, you do need the citizens of each Province in a majority of 51% to support the UDI. And deliver the papers to Ottawa, Edmonton and the UN as well as the International Court at the Hague.

    2. Support in some parts of B.C. might be lukewarm compared to AB or SK, while opposition in coastal B.C. (and probably the socialist-leaning west Kootenay region) would be strong.

Who said we had to include them? Let them form their own country.

      1. Yeah trust me you don’t want BC to join. Just build pipelines south. I’m from BC so I know what you’d be dealing with. Notley should have stopped shipping oil to BC to liggt a fire under some asses.

  21. So what are the most viable Western Canada Movements (not led by folks in brown polyester suits & mustard yellow shirts)?

  22. The one thing lacking from this movement so far is clear leadership and organization. Someone with a spine and enough clout will have to put themselves out there to really get this off the ground. I do believe that, even though the attacks against the movement and its leadership would be absolutely crushing and relentless, once there was some clear direction it would take off like wildfire, and those attacks would only serve to fan the flames.

  23. Agree it is time, and just beat Justin at his own game. Just get Alberta, Saskatchewan to adopt broad language about a systematic review of their place in Canadian Confederation, but stress that they are principles and it is in no way binding. Then, go for the jugular, a referendum question, followed by some support from Messeurs Trump and Pence.

  24. Let’s explain the situation to Trump and offer a lifetime access to cheap oil, …. with a respectable percentage of the profit going to Alberta. Not that far from N Dakota and all he has to do is build a pipeline to the oil sands. Come to think of it Canada would make a great 51st State. I mean really, …. who would stop him ? Think of the benefits. No more stupid gun laws,… a real leader who cares,… energy independence, ….. a clamp down on illegal immigration, …. no more forced bilingualism,…. real Armed Forces, ….. a recognition that the UN is a snake pit and climate change is a hoax ,….. cheaper everything and far lower taxes, …. no degradation in political efficiency at any level . Gawd,…. I could keep this up all night and it just looks better all the time. Our own politicians could find their true calling as Walmart shelf stockers and we could get a jump on making flags with 51 stars. Instead of being the second largest country on the planet we would be the largest. .Wooohoo,….. let’s get this to Trump before Oct 2019 and make a REAL difference. I figure the war would last less than a week and we’re home free. Strike while the iron is hot and all that stuff………….
