They Want To Teach Your Children

An eye-widening guide to the world of the woke:

In the world of intersectional grievance hustling, citing dog-humping incidents as evidence of “rape culture” constitutes “very good work” and “excellent scholarship.” We also learn that an aversion to transsexuality can be “challenged” with “receptive penetrative sex toy use.” Oh, and it turns out that you can impress a peer-reviewed feminist social work journal with chapters of Hitler’s Mein Kampf.

The whole thing, with video.

  1. The liberals have weaponized it…
..expect to see a lot more of “prove you’re innocent”

    1. This is like the Napoleonic code of law – “you are guilty until proven innocent”. Quebec has this still (I think), Mexico has this law, France has this law. When you travel, you should acquaint yourself with the various laws and mores of the country in which you travel.

        1. CGH _ Serious question. How did Quebec end up with “Napoleonic” civil law, when Quebec became a British colony in 1759 – ten years before Napoleon was born?

          1. Good question, minuteman, and I had to look it up. Here’s a decent explanation:
            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Code_of_Quebec

In general terms, when precedents in Canadian law fail, or same in the United States, British Common Law can serve as a precedent. Same with Quebec. When precedents fail, it can fall back on some of the provisions of the Code Napoleon. Now these are very rare occurrences indeed, and all of this applies only to Civil Law, not Criminal Law.

There have been some disparaging remarks here about ‘guilty until proven innocent’. You can’t rush to judgment on these sorts of things. It all depends on what the burden of proof is. This is a concept which has evolved in law slowly over time based on the history of court rulings in terms of what is accepted as evidence and what is not.

So to summarize, Quebec may have been conquered in 1759, but its civil law was a shambolic mixture of what was inherited from the old French Ancien Regime. The key change was the adoption of a coherent Civil Code of Lower Canada in 1866. That’s where chunks of the Code Napoleon were included where needed and relevant.

Starting 7 October, the move is part of the French capital’s Paris Respire initiative, spearheaded by Mayor Anne Hidalgo.”

There’s a reason that U.N. Agenda 21 officials lured into the fold young people under 40, and wanted people who were already sitting on committees or (preferably) in elected positions. Canada has been a willing participant and Trudeau is their boy.

  2. Yes. Taken together with Steyn’s video… safe to say they did not create the world they thought they wanted. They are too dumb to learn from their errors. And the only lesson of history, is that no one ever learns from it.

  3. Mein Kampf was pretty much written by Catholic priest Bernhard Stempfle. Hitler himself was semi-literate and his initial writings were hardly readable.

Stempfle added his violently anti-Christian screeds to Hitler’s anti-Jewish rants, although Stempfle was an anti-Semite as well.

  4. The most important finding of the study was that they cracked the code. They found the formula that would significantly increase the acceptance rate of their hoax research papers into big name journals. Basically, it’s like going into a foreign culture or a closed, secretive cult and understanding what makes it tick – it’s worldview, traditions, gods, rituals, language, myths. Then becoming an accepted member.

Having immersed themselves in the cult, I think they use the term “sacrilized”, they were able to manipulate its biases and expose the flaws in its religion. There is little quality control or quality assurance (QA/QC) which leaves gender, racial, queer, etc. “studies” vulnerable to bad research, charlatan researchers and poor peer review. In the absence of replication, no one should cite research from these academic fields as having any scientific validity. Not everything that claims to be science is actually scientific.

    1. “Not everything that claims to be science is actually scientific.”

Quite right. This entire episode hits right at the heart of literary truth in academia: the peer review system. Peer review is what is supposed to catch outright errors or fraud in scientific papers. Its absence led to famous frauds like Piltdown Man. The Climategate Emails show how authors themselves can conspire with others to falsify peer review (have your friends review papers containing questionable stuff). Even reputable publications can fail badly at this (Lancet re. Andrew Wakefield.)

To see how bad it can get, search for the name Elias Alsabti. Eventually Alsabti was caught, but it still took over a decade before his sins caught up with him and he lost his licence to practice in Massachusetts.

The problem here is that peer review is the principal tool by which we can sort out rubbish from the good stuff. However, as these useful jokers demonstrated, it is also seriously flawed. But it’s the only system there is of scientific honesty. It should be no surprise that this sort of thing crops up in the Social Sciences.

      1. There needs to be an academic “truth in advertising” type of standard. Grievance studies are opinions not facts. WAGs (wild ass guesses), not science or even SWAGs (scientific wild ass guesses). If an academic field has no way to ensure QA/QC then they need to stop claiming that there’s any scientific validity in their research. Grievance studies is a faith based ideology, similar to religious studies.

On a scientific ordering of importance, the various studies should be ranked at the very bottom.

        1. No, scratch that last sentence. It gives grievance studies too much credibility. Grievance studies are the equivalent of phrenology. Instead of studying the exterior bumps and ridges of a head and skull to pronounce the flaws of individuals and races (africans, jews), grievance studies makes grand pronouncements about individuals and races based on invisible, imaginary processes in the interior of a skull which is then linked to racial flaws (whiteness) and gender (toxic masculinity). Phrenology and grievance studies are equally vile and leads to grotesque reasoning.

          1. LC: “Grievance studies is a faith based ideology, similar to religious studies.”

Exactly so. It’s the Left’s reinvention of the Doctrine of Original Sin. The purpose of OS was to keep the population obedient to a higher, arbitrary authority. Same too with grievance studies. George Orwell would have understood all this post-modernism claptrap perfectly. Your liking it to the uselessness of phrenology is spot-on.

DeVos Signs on to Globalist UN Education Agenda for U.S.

U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos signed on to a radical global “declaration” that calls for, among other absurdities, brainwashing children to believe in the United Nations-backed ideology of total government known as “sustainable development.” In fact, the pseudo-treaty inked by Trump’s education chief suggests that the purpose of schooling is to indoctrinate children with the right “values” and teach them to be obedient worker drones.

  6. In the video, one of these gentlemen cites these Humanities Journals as having constructed a “religious architecture of their grievance industry”. There is no doubt that leftists have rejected Christianity and Western Religion as … “constrictive, and restrictive dogma”. However, mankind (oops… personkind) is born with a God-shaped vacuum in our soul, and therefore inexorably fill that void with … something. Anything. Ex. – Global warming and green fundamentalism. And now “Social Grievances”. The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. addressed REAL racial grievances through his Christian faith and belief. However, these confused offspring of 1960’s/70’s leftist parents have neither a legitimate grievance, nor a legitimate religious orthodoxy … so they make-it-all-up. Why are we surprised that they can be so easily spoofed by make-believe … “scholarship”. By make-believe “Scholars”.

This rotted architecture of the grievance industry … reminds me of one of my favorite Donald Fagen/Steely Dan Lyrics from Cousin Dupree. I can imagine these professional grievers asking us all … but what is it exactly turns you off?

She said maybe its the skeevy look in your eyes
Or that your mind has turned to applesauce
The dreary architecture of your soul
I said, but what is it exactly turns you off?

Indeed … the dreary architecture of their souls. Dreary. Very, very, dreary.

    1. Of course they rejected Christianity. They are members of a Satanic cult.

At least Muslims have a return address for the most part. These people should be forced to retire to institutions, and kept there until real science figures out a surgical or chemical cure for whatever is wrong with them.

Consider that for a small fraction of the money and time wasted in a futile search for a cure for AIDS at the insistence of militant homosexuals we could have had a cure for sexual abnormality decades ago.

      1. “Futile search for the cure of AIDS?”
In civilised societies, most people with HIV do not develop AIDS because effective ART stops disease progression. People with HIV who are diagnosed early can have a life span that is about as long as they would have had, had they not contracted HIV.

“For a small fraction of the money and time wasted … we could have had a cure for sexual abnormality decades ago.”
The tendency towards homosexuality is determined by epigenetic developments in the womb.
So, while AIDS (or death squads) might have wiped out each generation of homosexual males, heterosexuals would have bred more.

    2. “However, mankind (oops… personkind) is born with a God-shaped vacuum in our soul.”
      Nope.
My earliest memory of being an atheist is at 6 years old.
Never had to fill any ‘vacuum’ with political activism.
You might argue that my Family, Work and Leisure Pursuits are my means of filling that ‘vacuum’, but that would be plain silly.

(At 6, I commenced Sunday School – Baptist, it was the nearest to home – and did so for the next 7 years, attending Methodist, Evangelical, and Anglican churches in turn, as we moved home. No ‘vacuum’ made itself known to me.)
