Things you will see on the CBC

That stuttering gob-smacked anchor has the look of someone whose bubble was just popped.

    1. The reporter in that clip reminds me of what’s-her-name from This Hour Has 22 Minutes, the one who went around ambushing politicians and celebrities with the hope of humiliating them in public.

    2. That cow wallowing after Kushner reminded me of Marge warrior princess ambush of Rob Ford.Secret Service will harpoon her if she gets that close again.

  1. Who let that guy on.They usually have some Trump hating far left Democrat on. Heads will roll at CBC

    1. You’ve got that right. The Edmonton airport has the CBC on its TVs and I glance at it whenever I’m waiting in a departure lounge. I’ve yet to see anybody saying anything favourable about Trump or his policies. The way the reporters and news readers carry on, he’s a combination of the Great Satan and the anti-Christ.

    2. LOL the CBC minions failed to prep for that guy. That was way too much concentrated truth for CBC News. They won’t go to him again.

May I compliment the blog proprietor for the links to The Last Refuge/Conservative Treehouse and their NAFTA talks coverage. Everything they predicted has come true and their analysis of the situation is the best I’ve encountered. BTW Professor Buckley in the video says pretty much exactly the same things.

  2. He’s right. If Canada gets a deal, it’s going to be a lot worse than it would have been if Trudeau and Freeland had just acted like leaders instead of indignant, self righteously preening teens.

    1. One thing those two clods have completely forgotten is that negotiations involve haggling. One side might make an offer on an issue, while the other side makes a counter-offer. Trump, being a businessman, is quite used to doing that. Rarely is one ever successful in such situations by being rock-solid stubborn.

Wee Juthtin never worked a day in his life, so he has no idea of what’s involved. Freeland was a journalist, so what does she know about business negotiations?

      1. Rock solid stubborn = bad faith
        OTOH
I HOPE MY President is rock solid against ANY childish “social justice” nonsense getting written in the Trade (business) agreements. Irrelevant nonsense.

    2. the arrogance of thinking that Canadians are smarter than Americans will screw Canada up every time.

      1. I don’t think it’s so much thinking we’re smarter, which is neither here nor there. What it seems to me is the bred-in-the-schools perspective that we’re so much more superior to them in every way, especially morally. And when you’re on a moral high horse, all other considerations disappear.

    1. Not just that, Prince Sparkle Socks is like Sir Robin (who bravely chickened out and ran away) or, more likely, King Arthur, complete with someone following him and tapping coconut shells together.

    2. There are some sane people in Canada, but Prof. Buckley is working at George Mason U. in Virginia and I believe he’s an American.

  3. Beautiful. Just beautiful. A little bit of truth about Freeland in a sea of lies. A perfect complement to my after dinner drink.

Up here in Canada we do not dare criticize the competence of Freeland because she is a woman. And that is precisely why affirmative action cabinets are a disaster.

Margaret Thatcher and Trump would have had a deal long ago.

  4. That Frank Buckly fellow is the funniest commentator, I’ve ever seen on CBC.

They should have him back on a regular basis, say between now the Oct. 2019 fed. election. 🙂

Those voters, who elected Justin Trudeau in 2015. You know who you are…
So, you didn’t think you were voting for a drop in our standard of living in Canada, too?

  5. Thank you, Frank, for being precise and, well, frank on what Freeland has done, or not done, and whose porta potty is ready.

  6. Oh this was beautiful to behold and hear. It looked so good on ziz and zat (CBC).

Sending a grade 9 class to negotiate with adults.

    1. They should have sent them on a short bus and promise them pizza if they negotiate well …

  7. Believe me, it’s gonna get worse.

This guy broke the ice on verbally slapping some sense & reality into these marxist scum. Good for him. I predicted on another blog just yesterday that with the likes of Rosemary et al going on publicly about Trump (despite the Demented Dems sinking themselves in the eyes of the US public), that some wag or group of wags up here are gonna really do some damage to relationships with America. Then the gloves come off.

  8. Hilarious, someone at Liberal propaganda headquarters is going to be punished or fired. I like when the “ethnic” actress/ news reader has her producers screaming in her ear piece to challenge the premise of Freeland saying something anti Trump. The idea that Juthtin the molester or his hand picked front hole Freeland should be held to account or could somehow be responsible for the collapse of NAFTA will not be tolerated by the CBC… repeat after me… its all Trumps fault.

  9. What a mess. Stutter, flutter, mutter, putter and fizzle out then blame it on Trump. That’s the plan and their first bit f ammo for the 2019 election.

  10. Oh wow! The poster knows how to insert WEB-LINKS into his/her post! Eleven even! That makes it real easy for the reader to find the correct link with the video. Nevertheless, wow! So good! So technically proficient! Wow!

  11. Remember when they were saying Justin was a trump whisperer? I still laugh at that. They really will print and say whatever the PMO wants.

  12. Looks like the interview was set up to discuss NAFTA. CBC tried to throw Buckley off balance by switching to tabloid Trump trashing. He didn’t bite, but kindly explained to Canadians how and why their negotiating strategy is incompetent and will no doubt fail.

Bernier needs to have this clip on hand for the October ’19 election.

  13. I really don’t understand why Canadians AREN’T worried about OUR PM Tru-groper & Freeland on what they AREN”T doing for NAFTA. I love what Trump is doing for Americans (MAGA) but WE ARE CANADIANS and WE should be worried about our NEGOTIATIONS!!! WHAT ARE WE AS CANADIANS WILLING TO GIVE UP TO GET THIS DEAL DONE…NAFTA…nothing by the looks!!! This is what PM TRU-groper wants…OLD IDEAS, OLD CULTURE, OLD CUSTOMS, OLD HABITS to DIE get rid of our entire HISTORY of Canada to have disunited Communities MULTI-CULTURISM. It’s time for QUEBEC to break away from CANADA and take PM TRU-GROPER with them. We are being held hostage by Quebec Supply Management of Dairy and Chicken OVER LORDS!! THIS LIE-BRAL GOV’T DOESN’T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH NAFTA and really doesn’t care about ONTARIO and THE WESTERN PROVINCES!! All they care about is letting in MORE IMMIGRANTS (DIVERSITY) OF MANY CULTURES THAT CANADIANS WILL SUPPORT!!!

    1. This American completely and totally agrees with you. And every one of your passionate cap is appropriate. I feel your pain.

    2. Lyn

Read the mindless seal clapping on the Twitter feed link above. That will give you a clue, they are mindless, brainwashed dolts, that tune into the Corpse 24/7. They are the “like, like, like” FB crowd, living in their insulated, narrow Cheranna universe.

  14. I mentioned this a coupla days ago but Howard Levitt of Nation Post has an excellent article on the gross incompetence of trudeau, morneau and freeland this week.

Canada is desperate to get a NAFTA deal. Freeland’s arrogance has pissed off the US team and Trump. She continues to remind us of her ‘goodwill’ at every opportunity. She has too as Canada has not acted with utmost goodwill to this point.

No more talk of gender equality, pronouns, or natives – no sir. It’s pleeeease Mr Lighthizer sir, another bowl of gruel.

    Pathetic.

  15. It’s what usually happens when the truth hits you between the eyes.
All of her CBC learned talking points went out the window, as some may say, and she was there hanging dry.

Her idiotic comment about racism/sexism is just standard procedure so the socialist intellectualists don’t have to deal with actual world.
It wold never occur to her that a Caucasian man reacting same way would be dealt the same way and probably more severely since there would be no defence of the two ‘isms.

It is the 8th year of the decade, that would be 2018 for those in Ottawa.
It is not easy to separate thinking in “Coast to coast” program and reality here.
If you look at the history of the 18th, 19th and 20th century you may discover a pattern where the eighth years of each decade was for some reason a transforming in many cases accompanied by real violence, civil or war.
This year is no different, it seems as though the world is unraveling and heading for a disaster.
Though if you look at it another way, those in Burkina Faso, in Al-Hijr, Ratnagiri and other “peacefull” places, actually could not give a damn what is going on in the white privileged world.

  16. where can I find the things Chrystia Freeland had said about Trump a year or two ago?

is there a video or an article or something?

    1. Search out the speech she made in Washington at some press party for her. She was getting an award for something?

She had the temerity to hector and wag her finger at the Trumpster in his own back yard. Stooopid in the extreme.
