” What drug dealer can sell 2.1 billion doses of any drug?”

Fahad Hussain, the Danforth killer’s brother, has a long criminal history involving both drugs and guns. By court order, he lived with his family friend Maisum Ansari, his bail surety.

Fahad and Ansari had 42 kilograms of Carfentanil and 33 guns in the basement of Ansari’s home. Thirty of those guns were a single model of Glock pistol, still in their boxes.

Despite media reports, these are not small-time drug dealers. Indeed, Fahad Hussain dealt drugs, but he and Ansari seemingly had much bigger plans. Plans the government doesn’t want to talk about about.

We’re only safe because Ansari’s upstairs tenant called the fire department to complain about a carbon monoxide alarm.

  1. Never heard of this deadly compound. Nice to know that Chinese firms ship it to anyone with the cash to buy it. Incredible that this pair possessed enough to kill over a billion people. It is just s matter of time until a terrorist introduces this into a large buildings ac and kills everyone in the building. Actually they could detonate a small bomb buried in a container of it, and kill thousands in the open air. The failure to address this problem is a dereliction by Trudeau that could kill thousands, tens of thousands or more.

    1. I’m sure if a small amount mixed with water ,and put in a spray bottle it would kill on contact with eyes or nose tissue.

    2. A dose of just 20 micro-grams, smaller than a poppy seed, is fatal to humans. With 1 billion micro-grams per kilogram (yes, Billion) it translates into 50 million fatal doses per kilogram.

How much more is still out there waiting to be dispersed on Canadian or American soil?

  2. I’d be interested to know where the Glocks came from – and if their barrels were longer than 4″. Because if they weren’t, the Glocks are prohibited firearms in Canada, and should have been turned-in to the RCMP for disposal.

And in any case, the high-capacity magazines Fahad Hussain had for them are prohibited items in Canada. So if the Glocks had barrels longer than 4″, they’d still have to be registered – and their eventual users would have to have valid RPAL’s and each have his Glock registered in his name and stored IAW the law – and since their mag’s are prohibited, they could only shoot them single-shot, loading one cartridge at a time.

Our gun laws protect us, peep’s – WE’RE SAFE!!!

    1. It’s the Carfentanil that is scary….$100 million dollars worth, yikes!
Who has money like that? We know that there’s a lot that we haven’t been told. This sends a message like we have never heard before. Why? Wonder if the lethal stuff has been destroyed? How does this get destroyed? We pay all these taxes and get not one iota of reassurance of our safety. Why? We need answers. Now.

    2. Seen a picture of those Glocks, all short barrel prohibs meant for concealed carry. IIRC the picture also shown a Tec-9 (prohibited by name) and a sawed-off 12 gauge (also prohib).

  3. Faith Goldy was on this angle from the start.
Why hasn’t anyone questioned the source of financing? Was it run through a mosque, or was the bill to manufacturer paid directly from the middle east?

There are lots of articles about the use of carfentanil as a WMD, and describing it as a weapons grade chemical prior to the bust, but afterwards a stash of 2 billion lethal doses is merely drug dealing.

    From wikipedia:
” In June 2016 the Royal Canadian Mounted Police seized one kilogram of carfentanil shipped from China in a box labeled “printer accessories”. According to the Canada Border Services Agency, the shipment contained 50 million lethal doses of the drug, more than enough to wipe out the entire population of the country, in containers labeled as toner cartridges for Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printers.”

Was this intended as part of the same stockpile? Notice how back then they were concerned about its lethality, but not after found with a vibrant cultural enricher.

Leaving aside the actual death toll (including the first and maybe second wave of emergency responders) if a terrorist dispersed it in a crowded area, if dispersed indoors in large quantities would it not also condemn the building? That could be more expensive than a terrorist just blowing up the building (think asbestos protocols on steroids for demolition).

    1. Ya hit the nail on the head.
43 Kilograms of Cafenatil is likely enough to kill 100 Million people if administered the way I think they were planning to…in the Water Supply. Both of these Muslim sub humans are TERRORISTS….and I dont give a rats ASS what the MSM says or the Politicians say…common sense dictates truth.

Hang em on MEAT HOOKS….alongside their enablers, the Liberal Party of Canada.

  4. Is that $100 million valuation the actual cost of the drug or its street value? Just curious.

Either way, I think it’s clear that there was a state actor involved here.

Funny how just a short time later Saudi Arabia gets all pissy and recalls their ambassador.

    1. Earlier sources quoted it as 35 million from China, but I don’t know how accurate those numbers are. I tried to look it up without actually going to China and setting off security alerts. I am guessing direct from factory was 35 million, but with middlemen and such to get around new Chinese laws 100 million may be about right.

Street value would probably be between 15 and 40 billion (2 billion lethal doses * cutting ratio * ($5 to $20 that seems to be a standard price for drug sales of any kind). Hmm, maybe they were just good liberals trying to raise enough money to pay off Juthtins deficit.

    2. That’s retail.
The gov’t never announces the low price of manufacturing this.

      Fentanyl:
      https://worldview.stratfor.com/article/mexicos-cartels-find-another-game-changer-fentanyl
costs about US $3300. / kilo to manufacture a kilo of fentanyl, which is sold at quite a steep uncharge by the gram. I’ve looked to see what carfentanyl costs without solid results. Being simply a synthetic chemical, it could be similar to produce, but even at 100x the cost, would have similar monetary reward for its sale.

      1. No way is that retail. It is impossible to get high for a nickel, hasn’t even bought a good cigar since the Wilson administration.

Chinese manufacturers are not going to sell the stuff for the manufacturing cost without making a profit, and manufacturing it will be much more costly than others because of the insane lab safety protocols when a lethal dose is measured in nanograms.

        1. It doesn’t have to be made in China. It’s also being made in Mexico, certainly in Russia and Middle East. The “cost” of manufacturing this chemical is in the thousands, and because it’s so potent, 10,000 times more strong than morphine, the markup is that much more. The delivery price is what makes it higher than the cost price. Delivering 2 kilos of this is a lot easier than delivering 200 kilos of old school drugs.

You can get as high as you’d like, with a portion of a micro gram. Just ensure your scale is accurate.

When drug busts are made and announced in the news, they’ll mention the weight, then say it’s worth $1 million at street price. They never say this coke or heroin cost the manufacturers $25,000. to make it in some outpost in Peru or Afghanistan. These old school drugs take time and energy (growing coca or poppy in fields) and the new drugs can be made anywhere in the world, without paying growers.

Could be made in any closed commercial outlet with a furniture sign out front. For example.
Want to test the quality? buy some dogs or cats from the Humane Society, or sprinkle some on the condiments at the local mall food concessions while the people preparing food are busy with the next customer.

          1. That $100 million number, and the earlier estimate I saw of $35 million were not from the government.
This is one ‘drug bust’ that they did not brag about the street value of the drug in endless press releases with video footage of it laid out on a table. The authorities really downplayed this one.

Something that toxic requires proper knowledge of lab protocols to manufacture, and more lab safety equipment than most University students would have access to until they were doing post grad work. The fatal dose is about the same as for VX or Sarin. Legitimate use aggregate manufacturing quota for the US is about 19g annualy, and the veterinarians that administer it wear chemical protection suits to avoid breathing or absorbing any through skin.

They way they handle that for the street is the same way drug companies handle the tiny doses of some medications, they dilute the hell out of it with something like chalk or sugar and then measure a portion of the resultant mixture. A typical high level supplier would be dealing with only a few grams at most that could be shipped in a normal letter sized envelope unnoticed.

Seems that around Christmas 2016 there were two shipments intercepted from China at Mirabel airport that were described as 10 million lethal doses by CBSA, that was only 209 grams. They were both sent to different addresses in the same area.

Have to wonder why the authorities never explained why individual shipments larger than all the addicts combined could consume keep turning up in seizures.

          2. https://torontosun.com/news/national/friend-of-alleged-greektown-assassin-accused-of-possessing-historic-drug-firearm-arsenal

From this article the 42 kilos of carfentinal and 17 kilos of cutting substance are listed separately… (half ways down and above the Danforth Shooting video)
They also include that the police estimated the drug seizure is worth $20 million. This dollar amount doesn’t fit well with the suggested 2.1 billion doses.

            $20,000,000 / 2,100,000,000 = just under $0.01 per dose.
Which leaves a lot of room to make retail markup.

    3. “Is that $100 million valuation the actual cost of the drug or its street value?”

Good question. “Street values” thrown out by the police for the media are often wildly inflated and totally bogus.

      1. In other words you have nothing to add but need to run interference for your koranimal friends who want to exterminate white people and destroy the civilized word, both goals that you wholeheartedly embrace.

  5. To Liberals being called ‘Islamophobic’ is much worse than risking the lives of thousands of your fellow citizens.

    1. Probably all of the above since it is usually passed off as another drug or mixed in with it to hide how much the original drug is cut.
Apparently the Russians also used it as a knockout gas when the Chechen terrorists took hostages in that theater incident. They did not tell First Aid people how much of the anti opiod drugs to bring so most people died after the anti opiod supplies ran out.

    2. @ 12:35pm J C
Yes, who knows how this is ingested? Probably all methods you mentioned. Thinking back to the SARS and the Ebola scares, we definately need answers.

And what does the carbon monoxide detection in this case have to do with having blown this case wide open?

      1. Literally remarkable good luck that the cheap landlord sitting on $100 million in chemical weapons refused to fix a faulty detector on his own.

        1. More like the Samsung phone or TV, Android or Apple device heard something.
The next time they were reading Google news Syria edition they were getting ads about how to buy sarin gas on the darkweb

  6. We need a major terrorist attack. If we don’t get one we will just keep importing muzzies until there are so many here that they can do anything they want. If there is a major terrorist attack that kills thousands there is a possibility, however slim, that Canadians wake the hell up. In the long term it would be a small price to pay.

    1. The Liberals will use a terrorist attack as an excuse to curtail freedoms of *all* Canadians. Bet on it.

    2. The US had one, and they didn’t wake up. They just started a war whose sole purpose was to finish Daddy’s unfinished war as a distraction.

Oh yeah, and like JDN predicts for here, they got DHS and TSA (Trudeau would probably love an official department responsible for groping).

    3. As long as Trudeau is in power nothing will be done to keep us safe.
What have we heard lately regarding the Danforth shoot up? Has it been determined to be terrorist inspired or are we to feel badly for the murderer for his “life long” mental illness?

We still have illegal people streaming into the country and making them feel at home with no idea where they really came from or who the hell they are.

    4. Canadians will never wake up. Ever.

Even if this drug was released onto an unsuspecting public, the government would never admit to knowing about it and even if they did, Canadians wouldn’t care.

    5. Thankfully, even a major terrorist attack won’t push Canada to do something as retarded as restricting immigration. Thresholds and all that.

      1. Surely when we import few more millions of terror supporters like you, the attacks will not offend them indeed they will only serve as further encouragement. You’ll “bury us” we remember.

      2. Make sure you import as many Brand-X Muzzies as Brand-Y Muzzes. Then, they can rapidly turn Canada into an exploding shithole … because that’s what happens when you “mix” the two Brands of Muuzieism. They murder even MORE of each other, arguing about the shape of their prayer rug, than they murder 10yo infidel girls. Why should Canada not host more Muzlim Bombings and mass murder? Canada needs to … “get off their high horse” … thinking they can stay “white”, Hindu, Chinese, and native. Canada MUST admit “their fare share” of Muslim crazies.

  7. Another thing our pathetic media is ignoring is all the circumstances of the Toronto Police “visit” to the aresehole’s home just a short time prior to the murders. What brought them there? What occurred during the “visit”? What decisions were made, and why were they made? And certainly, especially in view of the murders, was there a f*ck up?

Suffice to say that the Police Chief and John Tory may well have a vested interest in passing this off as an illegal gun problem instead of what it might actually be: yet another example of a colossal f*ck up by a police force that is marching to gutless politicians’ drums.

  8. What better location to launch the next 9-11 than a leftist wonderland like Eastern Canada? Where the politicians and police fall all over themselves to reverse the “racism” of Islamic headscarf fear. Where terrorism is redefined as “mental illness” … or simply “poor driving skills”.

The problem with you leftists (like my fellow Bay Areans) is that you truly STILL believe that if you are “nice” to Islam, it will be “nice” to you (see: HER Benghazi experiment). You desperately believe that your own “good wishes” inoculates you against fundamentalist terrorist ideology. And the truly sad part is that we keep electing politicians who reflect THAT misguided value. Politicians who are making your families vulnerable to mass murder on a scale never ever seen before on this planet. When you all finally wake up from your slumber … you’ll be DEAD.

    1. Kenji, the mantra is every bit as true here as it is in the US.

The Canadian media are the enemy of the people. If it ain’t leftist narrative-supporting, it just ain’t news.

      1. Absolutely the media are the enemy of the people, they want the country to go down into shit hole status with Goodale nodding and bobbing but doing squat , he’s part of the puppet show put on by Butts with Trudeau in the lead role.

  9. 42 kilos of this isn’t enough to kill the entire country, unless all Canadians were all stuffed inside of say… Maple Leaf Gardens.

This really looks like they were planning a mass chemical attack more than selling this to mid level drug dealers, though sales to mid level drug dealers would provide the boys with enough cash to further their cause.

The Russians had used this as an aerosol in the 2002 Chechnen terrorist attack. Chemists in the UK had found traces of the drug on some… So as a couple of youths sympathetic to “the cause” and sharing the same religion as those from Chechnya… Also, not at all surprised that the brain trust within the Public Safety Ministry had no clue. I actually believe they’re that distant from reality.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_hostage_crisis_chemical_agent

  10. I know of fentanyl, but carfentanil is new to me. And scary. How has this not been classified as a chemical weapon?

Writing anything else about this one just gets me too angry.

    1. It has been classified as a chemical weapon, at least by Russian, US, Chinese, Israeli and other militaries, and most media until it didn’t fit the narrative.

Further research leads me to discover that 1kg as printer toner that was seized was actually shipped to a 24 year old in Calgary.

You have permission to get angry.

  11. Everything about this is disturbing (all of the comments above, which are excellent, cover the waterfront, or mostly anyway). The linked article seems much more plausible than anything I’ve read about this set of events in the alternative-universe kabuki-theatre conventional media.

Seems to me that we’re suffering from another “failure of the imagination” moment, as in, previously, the failure to imagine the use of commercial airliners, loaded with fuel, to take down office towers.

It’s bad enough that forty kilos of this stuff is, theoretically, on a fully-distributed/completely efficient basis, enough to kill 30% of the world’s population, and that these particular clowns somehow managed to get hold of such a stash in downtown Toronto, but what is/was the downstream play? Again, the comments suggest some real possibilities, but was there a distribution plan to spread it to other areas of North America? Alternatively, are there other stashes of this stuff in existence at other points across the Western world?

I totally get the corruption of the public trust by the politicians, but, sadly, we’ve also seen the mis-positioning and/or failure and/or incompetence of the protective services to detect, evaluate and deal with these kinds of threats. It would not surprise me in the least if Ralph Goodale did not know about a threat of this kind, not that that absolves him or his colleagues of their mendacity by any means. Sounds like we got dumb lucky on this one.

  12. 42 kilograms of stuff that tests positive for carfentanyl is not the same as 42 kilograms of pure carfentanyl. 42 keys of heroin-like drugs is not that much, certainly not an unusual drug bust. So, unless someone has the inside scoop on how pure the 42 kgs of drugs were, this sounds like another incredibly stupid conspiracy theory.

    1. There’s a reference to your point at the bottom of the article:

      https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/42-kgs-carfentanyl-found-1.4356938

I recognize that it’s the CBC reporting on it, so it could well be entirely inaccurate, but I’m guessing that they didn’t completely make it up out of whole cloth, especially seeing as how the Danforth shooting occurred ten months after this particular CBC report: sounds like pure carfentanil to me.

On the other hand, what else is the public supposed to think? Public Safety Canada and the police aren’t talking, Justin Trudeau is deflecting onto “diversity is wonderful” and John Tory and Toronto City Council are deflecting onto “hand guns”.

      1. *Not mentioned as in pill form here:

Which leaves a lot of room to make retail markup.

    2. Original reports say that police seized 53kg of unknown substances and Health Canada tested it and found 43kg of carfentanil.

(Intriguingly, the primary source document for all reportage on this bust is a press release from the Durham Region Police Department – since removed.) — https://canadafreepress.com/article/did-we-just-dodge-9-11-2.0

When have cops ever downplayed a drug or weapons bust?

Maisum Ansari, 33, of Oshawa was charged with possession of carfentanil for the purpose of trafficking and 337 weapons-related charges, including careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm.

The number of handguns indicates a minimum group (gang or cell) size of 16 and more likely 30+ members. A gang would likely have already dispersed the guns unless they were just delivered. Each member being martyred while strategically dispersing a kilogram or two.

If this was simply 42kg of pills, the bust announcement would have included a street value.

    3. @rat:
Like you, I think the article is overblown. And I agree that “42 kilograms of stuff that tests positive for carfentanyl is not the same as 42 kilograms of pure carfentanyl.”

However, if you think that 42 kgs of “heroin-like” drugs is not that much and “not an unusual drug bust”, then you are way too apologetic. 42 kgs is A LOT of drug. In fact one kilo heroin is a lot of drug. Near as I can figure, one kilo is about 355 doses for a user.

Certainly someone should answer the question of who is financing this. 33 Glocks @ $500 each is about $17,000. Wholesale drug prices….. don’t know but not small change. Who’s supplying the money?

      1. A glock 19 is a little under 600 US. A black market Glock 19 is two to three times that amount, so let’s say 1500 to 1800 Canadian, times 33, with maybe ten grand knocked off for a bulk sale. Low level drug dealer, my ass. If the carfentinil was pure that’s 2.1 billion LETHAL doses. Cut it and anywhere from four to eight billion doses. What kind of drug dealer sits on that much product? Who put up the money? And why hasn’t the media jumped all over this? We are so fooked!

    4. Well given that Fentanyl is ~25-50 times as Potent as Heroin & Carfentanil is 100 times as Potent as Fentanyl…

I would say that 42 kgs of a product with a potency 2500-5000 times as heroin, would have the makings of a WMD….No.?

I mean seriously, His Brother goes to Danforth, starts shooting like it was second nature (it was), and he gets busted for ~35-50 BNIB Handguns + 42kg of the most lethal chemical on the planet…and we’re still talking about DRUG Dealing…??

Do the math people fer christs sakes.??

What we have here are a cpl of Islamic Terrorists. PERIOD

Something never to be admittd by our Gutless MSM / Politicians forever pandering to 3.2% of Canada’s Population.

      1. “What we have here are a cpl of Islamic Terrorists. PERIOD”

He said, with no evidence to back him.

        1. Have you ever heard of a mooselimb terrorist or rapist who you did not try to instantly excuse?

  13. The boys may have been taking guns as partial payment. Buying Glocks at $500 is close to what a police force may pay for these, but not what they’re worth in unfired state to drug guys.
That rate is much higher. Or, the drugs traded could be traded for more than retail Glock price.

*Haven’t seen any mentions of carfentanyl pills in the above cases. Only what I assume is bulk sales.

  14. Wondering whether anyone has any idea whether this Carfentanil junk is retained as evidence or whether such dangerous stuff gets destroyed? If so, any idea how to destroy this safely? It may seem like an odd question, but we wouldn’t want to have this junk stolen. Remember those ‘innocent’ days when the police in various places used to have ‘dangerous’ marijuana incinerated?

A lot of I interesting posts here.

  15. I suspect the the stash was not pure otherwise some of the cops and first responders would have been poisoned as well as some of the tenants , and there was no mention of this.

Regardless of the purity of the carfentanil , someone had to front the money as the two low life brothers sure didn’t have that kind of change even if it was say only 10% purity . However if it was shipped into Canada free from say the Middle East in small amounts that is a totally different story. No doubt CSIS etc. are trying to figure out how they got the stuff. Problem is the older brother is in a coma with hospital costs covered courtesy of taxpayers (coma unexplained : handling the stuff most likely) , and the younger brother is dead.

All the information about the half-life of carfentanil is based on the reaction in the body which is 7.7 hours , so in human terms it is long lasting without an antidote. I couldn’t find any info about if or how it breaks down in sunlight , exposed to air , water etc. which would be interesting , as well as how to destroy it.

  16. Well our security services and police missed this battleship in the swimming pool. Only lucky. So who else has it? How soon till someone uses it like a weapon?
How easy is it to get through our gang-controlled port system where maybe 3% of stuff gets checked?

  17. Just wondering…….. was the Toronto terrorist brother involved in a “Fast and Furious” type gun running scheme, supported by Government? In exchange for overlooking his current employment?

Where do you pick up 30 Glocks?
Sure fits in with recent calls to rein-in LEGAL gun owners.

Do the Feds know anyone smart enough to pull it off?

Most likely foreign inspired…. but one never knows.

  18. To Nancy, Brian and Buddy, specifically, but to all, generally:

I’d refer you to the CBC article I linked in response to the rat’s comment above, specifically and to wit:

“After obtaining a warrant, Durham police, along with the Ontario Provincial Police’s clandestine lab unit, found 33 guns and 53 kilograms of an unknown substance in the basement of the home.”

OPP clandestine lab unit? What’s that about? Has the Durham Police Service unintentionally let the slip show?

A great thread, as a matter of fact: we need more like it.

    Just sayin’

    David

  19. Something has not ‘sit right’ from near the beginning of the so-called ‘fentanyl crisis’.
A distributor killing off their potential repeat customers is not a sound business practice… word gets out and demand falls and profits go down. It doesn’t really matter whether the product is legal or illegal. If profit is the motivator, which it generally is (in spades!) with drugs, the supply chain would take corrective action so that those who buy the drugs will get the buzz they’re after instead of getting dead.
But the death rate indicates that hasn’t happened. Why not? Surely the capability is there to make and distribute non-lethal doses. What has been happening is consistent with deliberate systematic murder of primarily younger people, carried out at a low enough level that it doesn’t draw enough attention to instigate a thorough investigation capable of tracking down the perpetrators.

    1. That’s correct, in my estimation.

I once heard a radio program, in the 80’s, or somewhere in there, that the whole point of beer advertising was to get young people committed to a particular brand: “It’s an annuity,” the beer exec interviewed, said: year-over-year-over-year.

As a response to the drop-off in beer demand in the late 70’s, of course, somebody1 and somebody2 (now joined at the hip, of course), came out with “somebody1 Light”.

Nothing about any of this business “sits right” with me.

    2. Fentanyl is simply a lot more potent and a lot less of it needs to be smuggled. This is favored by black markets. Legal drugs = end of fentanyl crisis

  20. “” What drug dealer can sell 2.1 billion doses of any drug?””

It’s called a wholesaler. Did he frequent Chick-Fil-A or any other poultry-based fast food operation with a dapper charming boss in charge of it?

    1. “Better call Saul”, sir or madam, would be my advice.

Regardless, it still doesn’t “sit right” with me.

      1. By which I mean, we have just detected that UnMe is from south of the border, and who may know some who are dealing in this sort of this stuff.

Sorry that it’s a bit of an inconvenience to you, since you know so much, for us to question this practice. I am not reassured, in the least.

    2. The sooner you OD the better. Your disrespect is phenomenal. You pretend to be a libertarian when really you’re just a misanthrope.

      1. “…really you’re just a misanthrope”
More specifically he admitted to hating white people and the western world. He supports any turd worlder wanting to destroy them. My guess is his ancestors were servant to colonial rule. So they were treated better than most like him. Instead of being grateful for the honor they never deserved or were qualified for, he remains resentful and unwilling to admit that as soon as the colonial rule ended people like him ruined what they had. So he wants to spread the same disease into the western world. Turn prosperous west into a turd world shithole, never again to be reminded about inferiority and incompetence of his people.
