One may or may not know the truth and free speech is the best way to uncover the truth but “Courts in America” are not a body somehow blessed with omniscience any more than an Orwellian Ministry of Truth. They have the Constitution and all they need to do is uphold it as best they can.

  6. Some interesting points on the limits of free speech vs the legal limits of ‘commercial’ speech. While much of the media is guilty of this, let me set CNN as a prime example of lying for profit while hiding behind the ‘freedom of the press’ shield.

    Since CNN attract their audiences, whose numbers directly affect profits, by advertising themselves as an unbiased, quality news source, I have long wondered why such dishonest advertising is allowed. It should be easy to prove in court that these hacks have built a business model dedicated to selling a one-sided narrative, NOT dedicated to honest reporting of the facts as they claim in their promo spots. Their viewers are most definitely not receiving the same ‘product’ that CNN still regularly advertises that they are selling. But sadly, my little fantasy of CNN being held legally responsible for their lies will probably never intersect with reality for many reasons.

    To be honest, I find it somewhat difficult to understand why CNN, and many of it’s talking heads, aren’t buried in an avalanche of personal defamation lawsuits right now. To that end, I think deplorables nationwide should be organizing a class-action suit aimed at all the usual suspects of the hate-mongering left. If it accomplished nothing else, it would make a powerful statement and be a strong showing of camaraderie from the ‘silent US majority’. It would also be a form of national demonstration that the Antifa types, and their hateful enablers, would be virtually powerless to disrupt. Any exploding leftist heads resulting from this lawsuit/petition/referendum would simply be an added bonus.

    2. I have to disagree with you, CO. By careful selection of fact to only show those facts that support their narrative, they can be factually correct and also ideologically pure. Because of the ideological component, the judgement calls of personal defamation, lying-for-profit, or one-sided presentation of the facts falls under the first amendment. If they report that Trump is a 3-headed monster from Mars than that’s not factual. If they report that Exxon is destroying the world by selling fossil fuels then that’s opinion and the warmunists can bring many scientific voices to their side to explain how scientific the global circulation models are and how they show the danger of CO2 (to support that opinion).

      Far better, in my opinion, to point and laugh at their absurdities.

  7. I just tried to google the initial Manafort investigation and the decision not to proceed with an indictment, and compare that to the actual indictment, to see if any new evidence came forward to justify the present indictments.

    The leftist algorithms prevented that. I tried many combinations. Nothing.

    Then I learned on Hannity last night that Rosenstein was involved in the initial investigation. Again, not a peep from google.

    Gotta laugh at the blue wave argument, that they’ll retake Congress and reverse the Trump agenda, while impeaching him.

    Good luck with that. Do these neo-Marxists ever think things through?

    Even if the Dems, as they hope, retake the House and the Senate, nothing will change. Nothing.

    The impeachment goes nowhere without a 2/3 vote in the Senate, even if the House votes for it.

    As far as reversing the Trump agenda, good luck again. All Trump has to do is veto the bills, which can only be overridden by a 2/3 vote in BOTH THE HOUSE AND SENATE.

    It would take deep statist RINO types’ support for that. If that did happen, the USA is finished as a country because her politicians will have given the finger to the voters’ mandate.

    Like most things DeMarxist, these ideas reside in their false narratives and political fantasies, but not reality.

    Some also ask why Trump is picking a fight over the wall. Again, pretty simple answer: Trump wants to turn the midterms into a referendum on him and illegal immigration.

    Personally if I were Trump (but I’m not) I would do the following, just for starters:
    – declassify all FISA warrant documents presently hidden by Rosenstein and his cohorts.
    – seize all documents related to misuse of power by Obama politicos.
    – fire Rosenstein and Sessions now, bring in outsiders to clean up the deep state corruption.
    – appoint a special prosecutor to look into the breaches of trust and obstruction of justice during the Obama administration.
    – fold the Mueller shenanigans into that investigation, while telling him to issue his report, or go to Court, or whatever.

    The DeMarxists will howl, the violent do-gooders will riot on cue, and the media will have a cow. IOW SNAFU. Let them cry.

  8. Good posted clip. What was left out of the discussion is the sheer power imbalance between the left-wing establishment and right-wing advocacy. The left-wing establishment is far, far stronger and better organized than anything conservatives can muster. The left has the courts, police, universities, the establishment media — need I go on? So in a way the left already has a “ministry of truth” that manipulates “facts” to suit their agenda.

    A case in point is the Greektown shootings. The police, the federal government, the Muslim lobbyists, and the corporate media cartel all conspired to suppress the truth that the shootings were Islamic-based terrorism. The huge power imbalance between the left and right means that the truth may never come out. The dominant left wants it this way, since they want violent Islamists to operate freely in Canada.

Observers from the Toronto Sun point to the fact that the perp was linked to a Muslim drug gang that, the year before, was raided by police who netted many guns and a large quantity of poison. The amount of poison was so huge, observers point to a possible Islamic-based terrorist plot. The dominant media cartel censored these facts.
