    1. Thank God that’s clean, green, non-toxic, eco-smoke. Harmless as a unicorn farting rainbows.

  1. There. For all you deniers who say an electric car won’t be able to keep you warm in our Canadian winters.

      1. Chock full of sulfuric acid or lithium…hope all those greentards stood close and got two or three deep lungfuls of the stuff.

      2. A battery that oxidizes hot enough to burst into flame, once heated. Burning metal fumes anyone?

    1. Lookee there, a 75 Pinto with no gas tank. We sure have come a long way!!!

  2. Again I ask… for the millions of miles driven by the Fords and Toyotas and BMW’s etc….How many hiccups do they have vs the literally thousands of miles the few Teslas have driven….. are the fires per vehicle being reported?

Or “other” drive into wall on auto pilot type danger?

Ill gladly share a road with a Rider fan 4 beers in paying attention to a Tesla “pilot” on auto mode any day

    1. Again I’ll ask, if gasoline fuelled cars driven by drunks can crash and burn, why should we be paying subsidies for a rich guy to get richer making an electric version to automatically crash and to burn hotter?

      1. FYI, there is no point responding to people who believe in Jim Jones; once the People’s Temple has you, Jonestown is the only way out.

Cultists gonna cult. Stop wasting your time.

  3. There has always been a small niche for electric cars …. bit of local driving , plug in at home overnight etc …..

Then Tesla came along with the high performance Roadster …. sold at a high price and built profitably , mostly destined for the wealthy feel-good-green-crowd …. none of us normal’s would ever buy one.

But trying to mass produce a low cost car for everybody has put them in a precarious position , the present “wealth” of the company is mostly a cult of “investor believers” that could evaporate overnight if stocks start to tumble.

Or if another one catches fire every day. hehe ….

Ahhhh … THE IRONY ….. the planet refuses to burn but the Tesla cars are trying their best to make up for it.

    1. “and built profitably”

      Not according to this:
“Given that Tesla has never made an annual profit in the almost 15 years since we have existed, profit is obviously not what motivates us … What drives us is our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable, clean energy, but we will never achieve that mission unless we can eventually demonstrate that we can be sustainably profitable.”
Musk letter to employees, over 3,000 of whom are being sacked.

      1. Sustainably profitable? Does he mean, with the $14,000 subsidy S3 buyers in Ontario and BC get for being environmentally conscious? If it weren’t for the subsidies, we wouldn’t have any Flaming Sparky Cars to worry about.

      2. The High end Roadster was built with a good profit margin (sold retail for more than it cost to build) …. the company itself has not made a profit because they have been pouring billions of dollars of investment money into the new factories etc.

    2. I’m going to steal that line, well said! “the planet refuses to burn but the Tesla cars are trying their best to make up for it.”

  4. Electric cars just don’t work, in the sense of being practical, reliable and economic. AKA Useful. Some of the first cars were electric and nothing that has happened since has made them any better.

  5. Please, please, turn off that Mark Levin autostart video below!

I’m watching this Tesla burn while an extraordinarily loud Levin is talking, and I have to keep scrolling down to find the video to turn it off.

      1. Thanks! Going there now . . .

Dang. That’s not it. Mine is already turned off.

  6. Patiently waiting for Ralph Nader to write Unsafe at any speed part 2.
    Any time now….
Unless the left has so deeply associated itself in the AGW myth that any criticism of any component would force them to put their ideology to question .

  7. Wow, that Musk guy is REALLY committed to making flamethrowers for the public.

  8. TSLA will be in Ch 11 and the religious zealots will still be keeping the share price above $300. Because, as Musk says, “profits are not really what motivates us…”

I love watching SJWs invest their money!!!

  9. “Again I ask… for the millions of miles driven by the Fords and Toyotas and BMW’s etc….How many hiccups do they have vs the literally thousands of miles the few Teslas have driven….”
Yes, where are all those zealous US government agencies that have the power to shutter a company for the slightest safety or environmental infraction?
Trump’s deregulation agenda must be taking hold faster than I’d imagined.

    1. Re that fire on the road in austria:

      1. Thank God that didn’t happen just a few meters down the road, inside the tunnel.

      2. What a crappy piece of engineering. Why does the disconnect require a circular saw, rather than just a built in disconnect? As though an (operational) circular saw will always be available in the middle of nowhere.

  10. I’m not parking my vehicle beside a Tesla EVER!

    I don’t want a second hand carbq

      1. The building code currently requires a 1-hour firewall between the R (residential) and U (Utility – i.e. garages) Occupancies. I expect the International Building Code will revise that to a 3-hour firewall … with 3-hour steel, self-closing door … because of the … Tesla problem.

      2. Not to worry! An option for a simple button to blow the Moon Roof & an ejection seat will save your butt…

This car was parked unattended so……no burst of energy to blow

  11. Tesla, the perfect car for the SJW set. Bring it to a G7 meeting or any major protest and it lights itself on fire.

  12. The car was being driven by a 19 yr old woman who it seems drove it into that cement barrier,it definitely was not parked unattended. By the way I wonder what the fire insurance will cost on one of these flame throwers that self combust.

  13. what do the insurance companies have to say about tesla fires and sudden inexplicable swerving and collisions?

mebbe youse all got it wrong, the unspoken rule is when a tesla ignites, ecotards are supposed to surround it with solar panels to catch the infrared radiation and turn it into ‘legtricksity !!!! thats it !!!!!
