  1. I’m done with the NDP for the sexual harassers.
    – or –
I’m done with the NDP for what they’re doing to the sexual harassers.

    Both work.

  2. This should put men at ease working with women.

Stand too close to them while you’re talking, and next thing you know…you’re out of a job. “Sorry, you have been let go for failure to read non-verbal cues in a social situation. HR will walk you out of the building.”

Seems like the kind of action that will hurt a lot of good women in the workplace. What rational business will not take this into consideration when hiring women?

    1. Except Trudeau’s charter stipulates whom you must hire. 15% brown, 15% female, 15% insane, 15% incompetent, 35% not white not male, …

What, you thought businesses could mind their own business in Canada?

  3. Yep, we kept telling them they wouldn’t like the new rules.

As an aside, man, Coyne’s twitter timeline is only slightly to the right of Louise Mensch….. For a Canadian political commentator he is certainly obsessed with Trump. Guess the American media doesn’t cover Trump enough.

    1. Guess you haven t watched the CBC,Glowbull or CTV in the past 18 months, they are focused on Trump even more than some of the US networks. That way they don t have to cover what PM Butts and his Sock Puppet are up to while destroying the country.

  4. They really need to keep this Rylee Schumacher in the EnDee Party. She embodies the NDP Zeitgeist.

  5. I’ve come to the conclusion that many parts of our society including feminists, non-STEM university students and academics, politicians and the majority of the media really should be confined to what used to be called sheltered workshops. They are both too delicate and too viscious to be allowed in the outside world. Too delicate to manage different opinions let alone difficult people without feeling horrendously victimized. They then viciously attack those who “offended” them by ruining their lives. If you are too immature and sensitive to survive, for example, close talking or over-talking without feeling oppressed and victimized then you should talk to a professional.

Or, perhaps, just quit being a self-centred drama queeen and have some sympathy and understanding of neuro-diversity. People with neuro-diversity issues shouldn’t be treated like lepers. From social awkwardness to speech codes, life is a series of hidden, deadly traps and pitfalls for those who aren’t neurotypical. I’ve linked to a good primer on this problem. The story about what would happen to Newton, quite an eccentric, if he time-traveled to today is amusing.

” As a practical matter, it is virtually impossible for someone with Asperger’s, bipolar, ADHD, low Agreeableness, low Conscientiousness, extreme fatigue, or Modafinil mania to understand what kinds of speech acts are considered acceptable, and to inhibit the production of such speech 100% of the time, in 100% of educational and social situations.”

  6. The Right to face an accuser (old British law) & respond to those acquisitions seems to have been denied….The Clown leader seems more concerned that the identify of the complainant not become common Knowledge… HUGE PROBLEM…..Serious Civil Lawsuit
Canada NDP have become a Joke…

    1. I used to drive a company vehicle with a big logo on the side.

Manager called me in to say I cut someone off or something. I asked who? Since he said that was confidential I said it never happened and walked out mid sentence.

Big meeting next day with upper management and union representation. Same argument. My whole point was maybe the manager just wanted a blemish point on my file. Long time ago and about 3 jobs ago… good memories.

The NDP are just so lost….. I’m thinking this is getting way out of hand for them, or it will. Fired for what? So what you are saying is we are all guilty?

Sure would be nice to know who the accuser is……. Would be tough to take someone seriously who can’t tell an awkward collegue at a social function to move…..hope it not an MP. Could you imagine that person in government representing Canadians?

This is not over me thinks

    2. There is now only 2 rules . 1. The accuser must be believed. 2. The accuser is always correct and has suffered enormous harm . Oh well , at least they didn’t wait 30 years .

  7. It is only matter of time when there will be inspectors going around measuring distance between people.

    1. Kinda like the religious police under the Taliban in Afghanistan. They used to go up to men and measure the length of their beards by holding the chin between thumb and fingers. If they beard didn’t reach at least to the cup of the hand then the man was punished.

  8. Poor Erin.
His crime is being a dork.
I remember the female reporters at Global Regina laughing at him and his Barney the Dinosaur voice when he ran against Goodale in 2004.
The guy’s 36 and single and he “talks to women who don’t want him to talk to him”. or “stands too close to them” when doing so.
And people are dumbfounded by the whole “incel” thing?

    1. Maybe an “assault van”…
Large gas tanks are to be banned and or regulated off the road
      Oh never mind.

  9. My friend in Regina said he was the only candidate that went door to door trying to convince voters to vote for him. And she said he was very personable. What has happened to him is tragic and unacceptable and I hope he fights the charges. As far as I’m concerned, women have gotten out of hand in terms of ruining men’s lives with sexual harassment charges. It disgusts me how low they have sunk. Maybe men should start charging women with sexual harassment and see how they like it.

    1. True, they all identify as NDP so let them do what they do. It’s all very sad, but not my business.

  10. Why do the neo SJW/fascists find this so difficult?

    – an allegation is made.
    – the accused is interviewed, if they admit to a serious offence, they are suspended immediately
    – if he/she denies the allegation, a proper investigation is conducted, without any rush to judgment
    – don’t assume the accuser is telling the truth, no “why would they lie” assumptions – people lie all the time, for many reasons
    – iow the accused is entitled to the presumption of innocence, not guilt by suspicion alone &/or emotion/shrillness
    – if the investigation indeed shows the accused to be guilty of a serious offence, action is taken against them
    – if the investigation indeed shows the accuser is lying &/or frivolous, action is taken against them

IOW the MeToo movement has no monopoly on virtue, their allegations must be proven, and due process honoured.

I know, how else can political opponents be destroyed, by letting voters decide on facts? C’mon; all hail the deep state.

Remember communism isn’t bad, it was tried by bad people. Lying Hillary can fix all that with $250k speaking fees as a bonus,

  11. This is great..comedy.
Of course he got the “non verbal cues” and distances wrong.he is a NDP,for whom maths is hard.
How dare the leader of great diversity dare fire a mathematically challenged fellow traveller?

I mean sh#@ if they could do basic sums, they would not be Never Done Payers.
Who knows they might even become productive conservatives instead of parasites.

  12. ” ‘failed to read non-verbal cues in social situations…’ ” Don’t attend a Mensa event. The Aspergers’ members will leave you curled up in the corner, shivering, blubbering and sucking your thumb. And then use you as a table to rest their event packages on while asking you what you think of string theory.

  13. Notley and Horgan fail to read non-verbal cues every time I fuel up, yet they’re still there.

  14. NDP wimmin must really hate this guy.

Back when I was a brown shirt in the conservative party we used to run into the ndp gurls on occasion. They were usually agreeable and humping crossed party lines. They’d sport hump. The conservative gurls….not so much.

Wonder what happened? Maybe they grew beards and got bitter……

    1. ..but nailed for ‘close talking’? Seinfeld had a cute episode about this kind of criminality.

    2. Weir drank the NDP Kool-aid so who cares what happens to him. Poor choices have consequences.

  15. If Weir has a problem with non-verbal clues, then it sounds like the NDP discriminated against the, uh, “differently-abled”, to me.
