Misogyny? What does that even mean? Who hates women? I would love to see a working definition of that.

They used that line of attack against Trump voters during the election and failed it. This is water on a duck’s back at this point. We’ve heard their arguments and rejected them. Trump won because of these attacks, not in-spite of them.
If half of your customer base thinks like Trump on these issues does it make sense to bite the hand that could potentially feed you and keep you in business? In an industry bleeding red ink you would think that a bit a hedging might be wise but in this instance you would be guessing wrong.

So many conservatives assume that the media is progressive because of how they were raised, particularly how they were educated. I suggest there is a huge component of fiscal reality. Media deals in attention grabbing headlines. Progressives deal in speculation as a matter of course whereas conservatives deal in getting the job done. Getting the job done often means long periods of day to day work. How does media generate attention drawing news on this theme. If anything it is a threat to their existence.
