  1. To steal a line from Blazing Saddles:
“Obama uses his hands better than a twenty dollar whore”

  2. If Obama finds out what a total useless piece of waste he has been for eight years he may rain down a Lot of pain and suffering on everyone.
Please don’t clue him in until after Inauguration Day. Then let him have the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
    Worst pres. Evah!, Right Jimmy.

  3. Maybe, just *maybe*, we’ll get lucky enough to see Mike Lee and Ted Cruz both on the Supreme Court.
Wanna see instant rollbacks of Obama’s alleged legacy in the next decade? Wish for this.

  4. 2 months to go. Woo-Hoo!
The beautiful thing about the Trump administration will be him not taking any cr*p from the media. Unlike Bush who specifically directed his staff not to defend himself from the constant attacks which of course did untold damage to his administration.
One more thing. Remember how the #NeverTrump crowd used to always mock his supporters by including the #HeFights! hashtag? Yeah, it seems to have gone missing since November 8th. Gee, why is that?

  5. “If people feel that they’re losing control of their future, they will push back,” he warned. “What an irony it is, at a time when we can reach out to people in the most remote corners of the planet, so many citizens feel disconnected from their own governments.”
And who was in charge the last 8 years?

  6. “…so many citizens feel disconnected from their own governments. …”
Barack BackAssWards Obama gets it wrong again. What pissed so many citizens off in a democracy was their government “of the people, by the people, for the people” was disconnected from them and has become a government of the people, by the government, for the government.

  7. Enquiring minds want to know …
    1. Will Obama stop loving the sound of his own voice when the press corpse stop following him?
    2. Will the press corpse ever stop following him?
    3. Will Frau Merkel run for Chancellor again? And put her legacy on referendum like Obama did?
    4. Will the press corpse ever feel the pulse of Trumps press cycle ?

  8. Obama said “So we can’t look backwards for answers, we have to look forward.”
George Santayana said “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

  9. Obviously, their tactics of high-pitched shrieking, insulting millions of people and ignoring stories that disagree with the progressive narrative has failed. You’d think they’d be smart enough to alter their strategy. If half of your potential customers are tuning you out because you’re news reports basically sound as irritating as fingernails on a chalkboard then, perhaps, the decision to increase the intensity and duration of that annoying sound is not the smartest call. Apparently though this is what they’ve decided; they’re going to shriek louder and louder about every single move Trump makes regardless of its importance. See the steakhouse scandal. Harper should tell Trump to beware of shaking his son’s hand in public or accepting a communion wafer. Journalism will be ignored and mocked on an even grander scale. Their credibility will be zero and no one will take them seriously when there is a genuine scandal.
So if the msm aren’t stupid then what’s another explanation for continuing with failure? Perhaps they aren’t writing to the public. Maybe they’re are writing just to impress other journalists. Sort of like clothes designers making unwearable clothing, Hollywood making boring movies and modern artists creating butt ugly art. They’d rather go bankrupt than produce unbiased news that will upset other msm journalists. So “look, squirrels!” is just another example of bowing to group peer pressure. It’s like they all never matured past the high school mentality of desperately trying to fit in with the school VIPs.

  10. “Democracy is simplest where everybody thinks alike, looks alike, eats the same food, worships the same God,” Obama said.
That is the most telling statement of his presidency. If you have a free will you are not welcome in the New World Order of Globalization. We must all bow down to the new bureaucrats of Globalization since they know what is best for everyone. The big, and I mean BIG, stumbling block to this agenda is the American 2nd Amendment. That is why there is such a huge drive in America for gun control. America and the rest of the world have no idea how big a bullet they have dodged by electing Trump. Two of the four countries that formed the basis of Western Civilization have total gun control, the third will have a renewed push for stricter gun control now that the Trudeau government is back in charge. That leaves only America and Clinton was adamant that she was firmly on the side of stricter gun control in America.
“Greece, he added, gave humanity “the most precious of gifts — the truth, the understanding that as individuals of free will, we have the right and the capacity to govern ourselves.” Therein is the problem for the intelligentsia of the New World Order we have the right and free will to govern ourselves and for that to remain true we must have the right to protect ourselves. As long as the 2nd Amendment exists in America then freedom from threat, domestic and foreign, will rest in the hands of Americans. It is unfortunate, no tragic, that the rest of the free world at the moment does not have a 2nd Amendment.

  11. Sounds like the truth is the “pool” of reporters are upset that they won’t get to live the presidential lifestyle and claim it as a business expence anymore.

  12. The “media” is having a hard time adjusting from Court Eunuch status under Obama to opposition Party status under Trump. Providing cover for the first affirmative action POTUS (his first real job), a narcissistic ideologue, has been a totally different role than what they did 8 years earlier. Their side lost and now they go back to character assassination as a full time job. Perhaps they could import some Canadian media who have mastered the art and mostly at taxpayer expense, after all, the Canadian media are winners and are now enjoying Court Eunuch status themselves. Hell, the US media could all stay home and just broadcast Canadian media to do the job as it’s now back to toxic anti-American bilge. If Canadians were voting in the US election, Hillary would have won, hands down.

  13. “Democracy is simplest where everybody thinks alike, looks alike, eats the same food, worships the same God,” Obama said.
It’ll work if it happens through the exercise of logic and free will, with people behaving that way on their own.
However, I don’t think he had that in mind. There’s a certain “religion of peace” that has the same idea, except it wants to impose it on people, preferrably by subtle means (i. e., one law or custom at a time) or by violence, if necessary.
Then again, many of us already suspected his real motives for a long time, didn’t we?

  14. If everyone ‘thinks alike’ then what need is there to vote on anything at all?
Surely the purpose of voting is to take into account the reality of different individual interests.

  15. My point is that if there are common interests and similar objectives, then the democratic system would work and there wouldn’t be such divisive campaigns as we just saw here and south of the border.
However, it’ll work if it isn’t forced upon people. Under communism, there’s no democracy as there’s only the one party. Under the “religion of peace”, nobody has a choice there, either.

  16. There already is a great system that allows for diversity: federalism. With less centralized government, each state could govern in the way its citizens saw fit. In big countries like the US and Canada it’s impossible to have a coast to coast consensus. Big, central government by its nature will be divisive in big countries that have quite different economies and regional concerns. What works in Quebec, fails in Saskatchewan. What Californian dislikes economically and culturally , South Dakota needs and wants. Ottawa and DC need to step back and stop meddling in things they either don’t understand or are politically/ideologically driven. An all powerful, micromanaging central government creates unnecessary animosity between regions.

  17. But there were common interests and similar objectives in both elections.
That is why there are political parties.
It’s just that the political parties have such polarizing objectives, which is why the campaigns were so divisive.
One side wants Global Totalitarianism, the other wants traditional sovereignty.
One side believes in achieving a Utopia, the other believes it cannot be done.
One side believes in equality of result, the other believes in equality of opportunity with the result subject to individual effort/merit.
There is no squaring such a circle as that except for one side to eliminate the other, especially if one side does not tolerate the other as a basic tenet of their ideology.

  18. Unfortunately, such polarity characterized both Canada’s last federal election and that for the U. S. Whatever common interests that may have existed certainly weren’t shared by all the voters.

  19. Did the popular press not cover Obama’s latest verbal flatulence (not the kind Elizabeth May seems preoccupied with)?
Aren’t his utterances, no matter how fraudulent or cloying, words upon high?
Oh, yeah – Trump had steak.

  20. Such arrogance knows no bounds.
Trump doesn’t owe the press his presence, especially after the abuse he’s taken from them for over a year. If he wants to eat a steak in private, then the journalists will just have to deal with it.
