    Certainly not a slick willy/al gore presentation, but unlike Gore’s film, this presentation is factually correct, free of the scaremongering hyperbole and should be given fair consideration.

  8. That there is a local snow-fall in Washington DC is not an indication of global environmental trends or what their causes might be, although it is ironic.
    But what I don’t get is this report about what John Baird, the Minister of the Environment reportedly said to Elizabeth May, the leader of the Green Party of Canada:

    What does Mr. Baird’s comment reflect about his opinion regarding the ongoing scientific debate about the latest new fad termed “climate change”?
    Given the ongoing scientific and public debate, I am less convinced than John Baird is that the cause of the marginal increase in global temperature over the last few centuries is due to man-made CO2 emissions rather than mostly natural phenomenon.
    I remain unconvinced about the IPCC’s findings, and don’t understand why Mr. Baird seems to be convinced otherwise.

So one awkward question to ask, when you’re forking out those extra taxes for climate change, is “why is east Antartica getting cooler?” It makes no sense at all if carbon dioxide is driving global warming. While you’re at it you might inquire whether Stephane Dion will give you a refund if it’s confirmed that global warming has stopped. The best measurements of global air temperatures come from American weather satilites, and they show wobbles but no overall change since 1999. Actual temperature did decreased by 0.087 degrees Celsius.

If you are not sucked in yet you get to be called names and other things. Once you are snached and reconstituted you are ok because then you follow the ones with mouthpiece like a sheep, you are converted and that is the of your freedom.

One can only wish for an icestorm.Hopefully someone will ask the rabble how the Kyoto accord will clean up the world and if anyone chanting “What do we want” answer, “green planet”,”when do we want it” answer, “now”,can give a coherent answer,I will vote for Steffi next election. Chances are I will be voting for Harper again.

  22. I sent same info on nrsp to John Moore on CFRB in toronto and his reply was more or less that this group is a lobby group for oil companies. I have not had chance to check this out yet but I would like to see which groups and/or organizations or government that the IPCC scientists belong to.

    “I have never seen a less news worthy attempt at a smear” is how, I believe, he put it during the last election as the story broke.
    He was attacking the Tories for smearing Bareass Bryson, who is still under RCMP investigation for his illegal insider tipping.
    The caller to the station before me on that day actually said something about wanting to kill radio hosts that cover up crime for the libs.
    I believe it was that sellout that specifically bought John the prized interview with Martin, which he totally softballed for the fat crook.

  30. Some expert on the radio today was saying it was warmer 1000 years ago than it is today. And another hot spell occured two thousand years ago.
    Not much I can do anyway so worry is not my schtick.
    When diesel tractor operators are too cheap or lazy to clean injectors and continue to spew black clouds of carcingens with pride into the air we breath, I suspect it can*t be best thing to do.
    Never saw a big rig driver get a ticket for spewing black clouds.

  31. The oceans are warming and theres no denying, but the reason is that there are underground volcanoes that are spewing stuff thru the cracks in the teutonic plates. This causes co2 to be emmitted into the air, etc. This can be verified by real scientists but their data is unavailable to suzuki, gore and a few others. Truth is this info is ignored by them and makes gores movie an inconvient lie. What we need is a huge eruption of some inactive volcanoe, that darkens the skies for days, as the ash is spread aroung the globe.
    If that happens I am sure the libs and msm would blame it on Bush and Harper.

When you ask the weather guy, he insists this weird winter is just part of the weather cylce; when you let S.Dion have his say, it’s a right-wing plot against his version of science; and when St. Suzuki has his say, Pray, because the sky is falling. The debate is purely political when the science is evenly split on both sides of the issue. No one can predict the weather anymore than they can so-called global warming (except Al Bore). I’ll be dead and buried before the issue is sorted out. Conserve, preserve, protect, ok; but don’t give me any of that new time religion.
