O’Reilly Corners Moore

Matt Drudge has a leaked transcript up. It’s not pretty. One would think that with all that time to think about his accusations, Moore would have a more skilled response ready. OTOH, I think O’Reilly missed the boat by not dismissing Moore’s “send your children” faux question.
Nobody is sending “children” to Iraq. They are adults, professional soldiers and all are volunteers.

It’s the Palestinians who send their children to war.

  1. I remember being freaked out by the whole Soviet/Nukes/Cold War thing when I was in elementary school. One of my teachers reassured me by saying, “don’t worry – the Russians love their children too.”
Some day in the near future the radical Islamists are going to have nukes and my own kid could be the one freaking out. I have no idea what to say to comfort her as the line my teacher used on me obviously won’t work this time around.

  2. Sean,
When the Jihadists get their nukes you won’t have to worry about comforting your children’s anxiety with the gentle reassurance of glib phrases.
When that time comes, if you’re lucky, you will have to deal with the millions dead in either New York, Chicago, LA, Dallas, Miami, Cleveland, London, Paris, All of Israel, Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto…take your pick.
For when they get them, they will use them.
And no, the Jihadists or their Palestinian proxies do not love their children. They love death, which for them is the greater and more important of the two.
