The Fauci Effect

What Fauci Thinks:
1. He has done an honorable job through the pandemic.
2. He has kept the public informed with the most accurate information.
3. He has inspired legions of young people to follow his footsteps into public health.
4. He has followed the Data & Science throughout.
5. He was protecting The Science™ by insisting on a total lockdown of everyone.
6. He thought it appropriate to pose for magazine covers …
What the Public Knows About Fauci:
1. He has consistently lied and/or altered the truth.
2. He has pretended not to know about natural immunity.
3. He has wiped out trust in public health officials for the next few decades.
4. He has ignored the Data & Science throughout, spinning a web of lies.
5. He has gone out of his way to besmirch and try to destroy the reputations of reputable colleagues who disagreed with him.
6. … while old people were dying in hospitals, completely alone, with no loved ones allowed in.

If It Saves Just One Life

Appears to be peer reviewed. Let me know if it isn’t.

NIH- Are Lockdowns Effective in Managing Pandemics?

The price tag of lockdowns in terms of public health is high: by using the known connection between health and wealth, we estimate that lockdowns may claim 20 times more life years than they save. It is suggested therefore that a thorough cost-benefit analysis should be performed before imposing any lockdown for either COVID-19 or any future pandemic.

It’s only Cancer

Just walk it off.

The Telegraph- Lockdown hysteria led to an NHS cancer catastrophe – and the Government is in denial

August seems a tad early for the NHS winter crisis but, apparently, it’s never too soon to start warning people not to use their health service. To be fair, we only spend £136 billion a year on it and they have got one of the world’s biggest bureaucracies to look after, fleets of luxury cars to subsidise for staff etc, so it would be entirely unreasonable to expect any treatment. You do have to marvel, though, at the brass neck of those who are planning a campaign which will urge the public to avoid A&E

I had an interesting conversation the other day with an acquaintance who retired from the RCMP a few years ago. He’s been doing some contract work auditing medical expenditures. Apparently one of the things the bean counters are quite proud of is all the money they saved the system during the lockdowns.

The Covid Industrial Complex™ vs. Natural Immunity

The CDC has finally realized that there’s such a thing as Natural Immunity. Why did it take so long?

In August 2021 Science Magazine, a peer-reviewed academic journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, highlighted groundbreaking research out of Israel that upended the public health establishment.

The research, which relied on a database enrolling some 2.5 million Israelis and was led by Tal Patalon, head of the KSM Research and Innovation Center at Maccabi Healthcare Services, and deputy Sivan Gazit, found that previous infection from Covid-19 conferred considerably stronger and longer-lasting protection against the Delta variant than vaccines.

“The newly released data show people who once had a SARS-CoV-2 infection were much less likely than never-infected, vaccinated people to get Delta, develop symptoms from it, or become hospitalized with serious COVID-19,” Science staff writer Meredith Wadman noted.

Safe and Effective®

Vinay Prasad;

The fact the US, CDC, NIAID, FDA, etc etc. have to rely on a Thailand preprint for the first prospective study of cardiac biomarkers is mind-boggling negligence. The US and this CDC have shown that either they are incompetent to take safety signals seriously, or indifferent to safety. They earn Grade F. This study should have been done in the USA, by Pfizer 1 month after EUA was granted. End of story.

“A Meaningless Test”

“on its own”

Trust the Evidence- The SARS-CoV-2 transmission riddle – Part 3

Learning point: The lower the Ct, the higher the chance of infectivity: this is due to the nature of PCR which amplifies the target viral components through a series of cycles. The higher the concentration of viral components in the sample, the sooner the amplifications stop and the lower the number of cycles needed to identify the component.

However, those people with pre-existing pathologies or whose immune system is partly compromised may continue excreting infectious particles for a very long time, with a Ct which dips when they become infectious and may go up again when their defences are successfully fighting the virus.

For the vast majority of healthy people, though, peak infectiousness lasts just a few days before the infection wanes. Sometimes it precedes the onset of symptoms, or there are no symptoms at all, or the symptoms are minimal. When their immune systems have successfully neutralized the virus, they may continue to expel fragments for weeks or even months. These are picked up by PCR, but their good health and high Ct should testify to their recovered status – if you record the details.

Herein lies the insanity of mass screening with PCR in the absence of sufficient information and detailed follow-up of each person tested. It explains why so many people still test “positive” even though they are no longer infectious.

Mask Formation Psychosis

What’s more bizarre? Calling the cops because a 4 year old won’t wear a mask? Or ignoring the evidence right before your own eyes proving they don’t work?

New York Post- California school lifts mask mandate after cops respond for 4-year-old without face covering being sent home

Rudolph noted that 50 students and 12 staff members had tested positive for COVID-19 in the first five days of class.

Masks will still be required on buses, at large events and for school visitors, according to the outlet.

It’s the people in charge who are the children.

Strange Times in B.C.

Even though there are an increasing number of reports about the Covid jab causing issues with pregnant women, the “brain trust” in British Columbia is ignoring this and going down the cruel punishment route:

Mothers on maternity leave who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 working in the BC Public Service are not only at risk of losing their jobs but repaying the entirety of their maternity leave top-up benefit as well.

A statement from the Provincial Government to My PG Now reads: “The vaccination policy stipulates that BC Public Service employees who do not receive two doses of vaccination against COVID-19, or refuse to disclose their vaccination status, and do not have an approved exemption request, are to be placed on a leave without pay for a period of at least three months, after which they may be terminated.”

Doubling down

Even the perpetual food shortages in the Soviet Union were not dismissed as non-existent. Back then, the central planners at least made an effort to come up with a semi-plausible excuse like bad weather.

“There is no evidence whatsoever that ArriveCAN is causing any problems,” he told MPs at the commons transport committee.

He said, while there are still problems, air travel is improving and becoming more reliable. He said, by collecting vaccine information in advance, ArriveCAN speeds up the process.

“There are those who have a vested interest in embellishing reality and undermining confidence in our airline sector only to score political points,” he said. “ArriveCAN is actually helping process arrivals much faster and helping reduce congestion.”

One Flu Out Of The Wuhan Nest

If at first they don’t succeed;

With all the controversy about gain-of-function research and all the concerns about how dangerous it is, you might think that scientists have stopped doing that kind of work.

Well, no.

In the latest news, a team of scientists in Canada and the U.S. report that they have re-created the 1918 influenza virus and used it to infect macaques. Let’s be clear here: the 1918 flu vanished from the Earth, long ago. It’s simply not a threat, or it least it wasn’t, until someone figured out a way to bring it back.
