The Most Interesting Man In The World

No shit, Sherlock.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been led to believe that the letter from 51 national security officials was some sort of spontaneous, grassroots effort by the intelligence community to warn us about the potential foreign influence behind Hunter Biden’s laptop.

The laptop has since been confirmed to be legitimate, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence confirmed that there was no foreign disinformation campaign involved. But new information from House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and congressional investigators, with the help of two Obama-era CIA officials, has revealed a new twist in the story. The investigation has uncovered evidence linking the letter dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop as Russian disinformation during the 2020 election to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

The drama queens at Equality Florida have issued a travel advisory:

Today, Equality Florida took the extraordinary step of issuing a travel advisory, warning of the risks posed to the health, safety, and freedom of those considering short or long term travel, or relocation to the state. The move comes in response to a wave of safety inquiries Equality Florida has received following the passage of laws that are hostile to the LGBTQ community, restrict access to reproductive health care, repeal gun safety laws, foment racial prejudice, and attack public education by banning books and censoring curriculum.

Steve Milloy;

Greenpeace launched its “Save the Whales” campaign on April 27, 1975. But in the ensuing years, Greenpeace has gone full Orwell. Greenpeace is no longer interested in saving the whales. It may actually be aiding and abetting the Biden administration and the offshore wind industry in killing whales supposedly to “save the planet.”

Since December, dozens of whales and dolphins have washed up dead along East Coast beaches, especially the New Jersey coast. There are no eyewitnesses to, and no video of, the deaths so no one knows for sure what is killing the animals.

The deaths are coincident, however, with an increase in activity by the offshore wind industry as it surveys locations to erect its turbines. These surveys include seismic testing that involves bouncing sounds off the bottom of the ocean. It is possible that these sounds impair sound-sensitive whales and dolphins in such a way that deaths can result.

Green activists certainly believed as much when the Natural Resources Defense Council sued the U.S. Navy over its sonar testing in a case that went all the way to the Supreme Court. The Greens also oppose seismic testing when conducted by the oil industry in its offshore activities.

The Biden administration denies that there is evidence that the whales and dolphins are being harmed by the offshore wind industry.

“At this point, there is no evidence to support speculation that noise resulting from wind development-related site characterization surveys could potentially cause mortality of whales, and no specific links between recent large whale mortalities and currently ongoing surveys,” says the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

And not only does Greenpeace embrace the agency’s denial, but it denounces links between offshore wind seismic testing and the whale and dolphin deaths as a fossil fuel industry-funded “right-wing disinformation campaign.”

So what’s the truth?

Once again, there are no eyewitness or video. But there is some inconvenient paperwork.

As it turns out, the federal agency has actually issued permits to the offshore wind industry to kill whales, dolphins and even seals. And not just one or two members of the species.

A currently proposed permit would allow New Jersey-based offshore wind developer Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, L.P., , a partnership of foreign-owned wind companies, to kill 42 whales, 2,678 dolphins, and 1,472 seals.

Not very green. But it gets worse.

Among the 42 whales that Atlantic Shore Offshore Wind has been licensed to kill are 13 whales that are listed as “endangered” under the Endangered Species Act. Three whales are the North Atlantic right whale, a species federal regulators are wielding to wreck the Maine lobster and groundfishing industries on behalf of the offshore wind industry.

And this is not the only such permit. There are others already issued with more on the way. Each one allows for the killing of dozens of whales and thousands of dolphins and seals. And all this permitted killing is just for the survey phase of construction. There is the actual erection of wind turbines, and their operations and maintenance still to come.

When The FBI Does It, That Means That It’s Not Illegal

American Greatness;

New documents obtained from the National Archives appear to reveal the direct involvement of the Biden Administration in the FBI’s controversial and widely-panned raid on President Donald Trump’s residence in Florida last year.

As reported by Breitbart, the documents were obtained by the legal watchdog group America First Legal (AFL). At the time of the raid on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on August 8th, 2022, the Biden Administration claimed that it was “stunned” by the development, while the National Archives claimed that it had “not been involved in the DOJ investigation.” The excuse that the FBI and Attorney General Merrick Garland gave for carrying out the authoritarian and unprecedented raid was that President Trump allegedly possessed several classified documents, which had to be returned to the National Archives.

However, the new documents reveal that the National Archives ultimately did cooperate with the Biden FBI and DOJ due to a “special access request” from the Biden Administration, which was filed on behalf of the DOJ.

One of the facts exposed by the documents is that John Laster, the Archives official responsible for handling all access requests for presidential records, was in direct communication with the FBI as he discussed preparing the seized Trump documents for FBI review on August 23rd, 2022.

In October, the National Archives told senior Republicans Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and James Comer (R-Ky.) about the Trump documents, which the Archives “discovered that they contained classified national security information,” at which point “NARA’s OIG (Office of the Inspector General) subsequently referred the matter to DOJ on February 9, 2022.”

But the discrepancy arises from Laster’s decision to directly coordinate with the FBI himself, thus discrediting the Archives’ claims that the OIG acted independently of the Archives’ leadership. Furthermore, the Biden Administration’s attempt to use “special access request” as a pretext for a law enforcement raid is an unprecedented abuse of presidential records law.

“The special access statute authorizes special access requests to an incumbent president only when the records in question are needed for ‘the conduct of current business’ of the White House,” a spokesman for America First Legal explained further. “Providing documents to the DOJ for purposes of a criminal investigation is not the ‘current business’ of the White House.”

Reed Rubinstein, senior counselor at AFL, added that “the evidence further suggests that Biden officials in the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power and then lied about it to the American people.”
