Right After The Election, New Home Sales Tumble From Downward Revised Two Year HighPosted by Kate at November 28, 2012 10:41 AM
It is not surprising that the people are being manipulated. The surprising point is that they seem contented to be manipulated. The 'Big Daddy' mindset is well established. I guess the shock will be the realization that 'Big Daddy' is a closet alcholic.
Posted by: ct at November 28, 2012 10:53 AMIs stats Canada politicized too? Anyone know how independent they are?
I mean this is really troubling to see government stats manipulated like this. How can you possibly trust anything they say?
Posted by: james at November 28, 2012 11:05 AMYou mean to say that someone had their thumb on the scale? Who'd a thunk it?
The sad fact is the majority of the US electorate is far too captivated that there's a dreamy pop culture President in the White House than to realize their actually circling the bowl.

"Unexpectedly." You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
james at 11:05 I visited the StatsCan headquarters in Ottawa about 20 years ago to get data regarding firearms crime. They had anti-gun posters prominently displayed that their own data proved were wrong, including that old canard that a gun kept for home defense is most likely to be turned on the home owner by the criminal. They were listening to CBC radio too. Enough said.

Posted by: Ken (Kulak) at November 28, 2012 12:20 PMHa ha well leftist bureaucrats will be leftist bureaucrats but do they take orders from the executive branch to juice economic data like they do in the US? I know the Liberals used to fudge their budget projections but I'm pretty sure those were produced by the executive branch itself.
Posted by: james at November 28, 2012 12:27 PM'Seasonally adjusted', 'Revised', 'Annualized' - Bullshit.
None of these numbers mean anything anymore. The US numbers are all garbage and StatsCan doesn't do much better. Government beancounters should all be fired.
Posted by: Philanthropist at November 28, 2012 12:28 PMThe mind boggles at the fact most media and people in general have not noticed all the "revised" crap that is coming out AFTER the election.
Posted by: Texas Canuck at November 28, 2012 12:38 PM"i'm shocked. Shocked I tell you. I never knew there was gambling going on here. Arrest the usual suspects." And the MSM shrugs its shoulders and moves on to the racism of the Republican Party. Did you know that liking white turkey meat is racist?
Posted by: Rick at November 28, 2012 1:38 PMJust using the old Mark1 eyeball,I woul say the "recovery" was around Ground Hog Day,2010. But then,if the Oblahblah is going to pay for your mortgage, why expect high prices?
Posted by: Justthinkin at November 28, 2012 6:02 PMhey if your willing to kill your own to cover up a self made mess. Whats fudging a few figures?
Posted by: Revnant Dream at November 28, 2012 6:08 PMThe "unexpected" increase over the earlier increase in firearms and ammo sales after the...."election" says it all.
A critical mass of the electorate don't believe either the stats nor the MSM.
One Arizona gun-dealer did over $1,000,000 business in one day...NCIC crashed several times due to the overload of background checks.
BTW them's ain't guns...guns have wheels...
