A few years back my brother took on the Carpenter's Union in Saskatchewan when they kicked him out for belonging to another union. Yep, you read that right. My brother won , severally humiliating labor leader and convicted woman beater Robert Todd in the process.

At the time of my brother's case over half of the cases before the Saskatchewan Labour Board were union members complaining about their union. It appears as though nothing has changed.

I was shocked,I tell ya..when I read CUPE was mixed up in this mess.Having been forced to pay dues to this same useless outfit in MAnitoba, nothing surprises me.They ARE the biggest waste of money off my cheque..have only attended 1 mtg and was so pi**ed off,I got up and left.Only thing they are good for is protecting the lazy, useless, and sometimes downright dangerous.Blah to unions.

OMG! Say it isn't so. It's a good thing paying union dues is optional... oh wait.

Unions are one of the strongest encouragers of pursuing harassment cases of any kind, particularly against those who own businesses. These owners have an unbalanced position of power and control over helpless women, and therefore, these paternalistic men need to be controlled by the force of law.

Fortunately, knowing this, the union leaders are extra careful with their dealings with women, so not to ever be found in a situation where they could be accused of harassing a woman, especially one of their own.

Say what?....hmmmm.

I'm shocked the CBC is covering this. Someone on the left, sexual impropriety, there's no story there. Or at least, only a local story. Nope, it's under "National". He must have been a right-winger that snuck in there to undermine the glorious workers revolution. After all, it's only an issue, let alone a crime, if you're on the wrong side politically.

I wonder if Hubick would go in Gormley's show to defend himself ??

Posted by: RL at November 24, 2012 9:32 AM

Hubich is a bully and a thug and will never appear on Gormley's show. That would require engaging in civilized debate and answering tough questions.

Some things you just want to put your feet up, crack open a beer, chuckle, and watch them play out.
