Mark Levin talks with a Gold Star dad about Benghazi.

You can't make this up.
Posted by: Larry at November 15, 2012 2:20 PMDeserving the truth has no relevance to the Obama administration. Their focus is strictly and only on: Power. The truth about Benghazi would harm their control of this Power.
There are a number of key players. First, are the staff and ambassador in Benghazi. Then, the CIA in the Benghazi annex. Then, in Washington, there's Obama, the State Department (Hillary); Defence (Panetta) and the CIA. Oh, and Obama's sidekicks, the FBI.
The attack in Benghazi was not a spontaneous reaction to American causality, ie, that video. It was a planned terrorist attack. The WH had been warned repeatedly that Benghazi was owned, now, by militants. There had been an attack on the consulate in June. Repeated requests for more security were denied. Why? And why was the CIA there? Were they gun-running to Syria?
Then, there's the attack.
Obama declares that HE ordered all immediate help to the Benghazi people. Hmm. But no help ever comes. When asked, He takes the 'Fifth'. Notice that Obama always does this when asked questions. His 'Fifth' is that he can't answer because 'it's under investigation'.
But to whom did he give this order? After all, the CIA is now saying that they weren’t asked to provide any assistance and, themselves, did not deny any assistance. So- the CIA are effectively saying that they were removed from any control over what was going on in Benghazi.
Remember, Petraeus at first tried to go along with the WH narrative of ‘it’s all the fault of an American video’. Then, when the WH tried to blame the CIA for non-response, he refused to go along with this, and put out a memo that the CIA had not refused assistance. That means – the WH and State Department and Secretary of Defense were the ones who refused.
Panetta says he ‘prepared multipe military responses’. Who told him to do this? And why were none of these responses actually provided?
So, if Obama insists that he ‘told someone’ to provide all assistance, then, why was no assistance provided? Or is Obama, heh, as usual, lying? And since he’s the King, no-one dares to contradict him. Look what happened to Petraeus for doing so.
Will we get the truth? No. Not under the Obama administration.
Posted by: ET at November 15, 2012 2:22 PMI don't expect any truth from the current administration.
none.
Posted by: marc in calgary at November 15, 2012 2:43 PMI really feel for this guy.He is expecting truth from pathological liars.Yeah. The Shillary is gonna "testify" in the open in December. He will get more truth from Rudolph(who is a she,BTW) at that time then any whore, male or female, in the Obambam nation.

These guys? They're used to it. They've been dismissing any consideration of anything other than their own advancement since childhood.
It's very hard to accept the idea that a pack of shameless hustlers have risen to the highest levels of American government.
"No doubt: politicians are self-serving, willing to bend the truth, and capable of gross stupidities, but there has to be some minimum standard of integrity, or they'd never get elected."
Not anymore, kids.
Americans have always secretly admired Snake Oil salesmen in the same way that the French admire bank robbers. It satisfies a primordial yearning to take a dump on the steps of City Hall.
And Obama is perfection itself: a man who can sell ice to Eskimos and sand to Beduin, unencumbered by anything resembling a conscience.
Posted by: pok at November 15, 2012 2:56 PMWe all deserve the truth, but it's highly unlikely we'll get it. We have a criminal enterprise ensconsed in the Oval office and a media which laps up the scripted blab feed the White House regurgitates - they are afraid to go poking around on this one because it is a criminal fraud of such proportion they fear for their lives and business - no one is curous - not even the GOP. My take is that Bengazi was a secret upper echelon black op involving the CIA that the military and local consulate were either un aware of or resistant to being involved. I think it had something to do with getting heavy weapons to Syrian rebels and when something went wrong they allowd the rebels to dust US personel in hopes of covering the real target of the "raid" and to provocateur an incident with Syria to justify military committment. The subsequent purge of Petieus and other military brass is an on-going war in the secuity community between those who do not want to partake in these undeclared clandestine wars and those who do. The one bug in the carpet on this caper is Hillary Clinton - she has far more culpability in this than we are seeing admitted.
This is a Watergate sized scandal with treasonous overtones - but it is happening to a Dem Junta so the media is mum on it.

"Mark Levin" ... USS Liberty
But to be fair to the screeching fairy, the same can be said about Rush, Hannity, Michelle Bachmann, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, etc.
34 dead, 170 wounded.
Egyptians did it!!

With the re-election of the Obamanation, there's been a gargantuan sea change: He and his administration don't just bend the truth, they're full-scale liars to forward their left-lib-redistributionist agenda and they answer to no one, including the Constitution; gross stupidities? I don't think so: They knowingly and cunningly fabricate scenarios, including the asinine and unbelievable video story, and concoct elaborate coverups to hide their gross incompetence and utter lack of care and concern for the best interests of America and Americans; "some minimum standard of integrity" isn't even remotely in Oblahblah's lexicon; his and his administration's agenda relies on thuggery, lies, skulduggery, and the adulation of the bewitched, brainwashed, and lazy mainstream media who are carrying water and a whole lot of other things for this POTUS.
There's been a full-blown alien invasion of Washington and the White House right under our noses. What's happening under Obama reminds me of Mars Attacks and Men in Black. Beneath the couturier suits and brilliant smiles lurk beings totally estranged from civility and humanity. They make a good attempt at behaving like normal human beings but when the mask slips, one's breath is taken away by the ugliness and venality of what lies beneath the veneer.

Where would puny jew-haters be without that tattered old rag of bullsh*t?
At least come up with something from THIS CENTURY. Sheesh.
Posted by: Kathy Shaidle at November 15, 2012 7:03 PMbatb - yes, there's quite the take-over in Washington.
Saw a report from a GOP senator about the hearings on Benghazi today. He said that the CIA and the Intelligence community knew, right away, not even in 24 hours, that the Benghazi attack was terrorist caused. Zilch to do with any video.
So, why did Susan Rice declare that it was due to a video? This Congressman (forget his name) said that she was saying what she'd been told to say, BY OBAMA. Got that? He's directly asserting that Obama is behind the cover-up. He's openly saying that the CIA knew it was terrorist, and the claim that it was due to the video, is a political claim from Obama.
Thus, it is obvious that the WH/Obama was trying to throw the CIA under the bus. Petraeus tried to save the CIA from Obama, by immediately putting out a memo that the CIA had not refused any help to the Benghazi consulate. That meant that the refusals came from the WH.
Obama's response was vicious and personal; he held the FBI investigation of Petraeus affair, which was over, and which the WH knew about, over Petraeus, and probably told him his job was on the line...so, Petraeus told Congress a week later, that, ah...it was all due to the video.
And then - as facts came out that denied this, and as the WH tried, more and more, to destroy the CIA....he resigned.
What will Obama do? One thing to understand about Obama, is that he has no principles, no ethics, no empathy, no integrity. And, if you cross him or dissent from his view, he'll destroy you.
Posted by: ET at November 15, 2012 7:14 PMbatb and ET, this Benghazi business is most likely the most blatant attempt by the Manchurian candidate to flex his power after gambling he could win the election and pull it all off.
What is really sad is to see the degree of degeneration of the American people to allow this man to hold power.
Posted by: Ken (Kulak) at November 15, 2012 9:19 PMKken - it's hard to figure out what is going on.
One thing of which I'm reasonably sure is that Obama is lying about Benghazi. And, that he wants to reward Susan Rice for being the 'fall guy' and going out and telling blatant lies (it's the vido)..by making her, unbelievably, Sec of State.
Another reality is that Benghazi was a terrorist attack.
And, we know that the people in Benghazi asked for assistance, and someone, probably in the White House, denied it. The CIA refuses, now, to take the fall for Obama. He tried to get them to do it but, that seems to have fallen apart when Petraeus fought back. Obama kicked him out for that.
Obama has his sidekicks, the FBI, digging out dirt, and that's an old, old tactic of the Obama gang. That's not really working. The focus is on: who refused help and who told Rice to lie.
And, there's another huge issue in the US. Obama's Health Care act is driving the US economy into a deep recession. Small businesses can't afford his health care, can't afford to cover their employees, can't afford the fines, and so, they are downsizing the number of employees and cutting hours. So much for the US economy.
Posted by: ET at November 15, 2012 10:49 PMI am impressed with Mr. Woods, father of Ty Woods, who gave an accurate description of his encounter with Pres. O.
It illustrates beautifully how most, if not all, on here feel about O's honesty, or rather, lack of it, and his lack of any real empathy.
“I’m a retired attorney for six years I was an administrative law judge and in the several thousands cases I heard my job was to tell who was telling the truth and who wasn’t,” Woods explained. “There were four pods at Andrews Air Force Base and when he (Obama) came over to where we were I could tell he was very conflicted person who was not at peace with himself. Shaking hands with him quite frankly was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye. His eyes were over my shoulder and not in a forceful voice said ‘I’m really sorry Mr. Woods.’”
“And I could tell he was not sorry. He had no remorse,” Woods continued.

Quite right. And on top of that, there are the affirmative-action lawsuits upcoming (as reported in Reader Tips the other day) that will pile it on even thicker.
Posted by: nv53 at November 16, 2012 12:14 AMIOW, the Obamanation's a complete disaster: Four more years of his lies and slimy political shenanigans are almost too much to contemplate.
Pop culture. Thanks, Warhol. Oblahblah's got his 15 minutes of fame over and over and over ... for four more years.
Mercy!
