Heh - "No I don't think it's right to say 'excitable yokel.' Under the guidelines it has to be 'A yokel who gets excited.' With the program get."

Posted by: Scar at September 17, 2012 1:26 AMThis is our fault for not developing a middle class in the MENA.
Posted by: Daniel hates Red Tories at September 17, 2012 1:43 AMWhat do you call the "excitable Pakistanis"? How about "someone stuck on the 7th century step of the evolutionary ladder". That's as nice as I can put the type of human being who, like in that story of the framed 14 year old girl with Down's Syndrome, accused of "blasphemy" last week by a lying imam, rioted and wanted to kill her. There's actually another word that describes them, begins with "a**" and ends with "hole". I don't like that word and use it very sparingly but they earned it fair and square.
Posted by: Dave in Pa at September 17, 2012 2:08 AMThese "guidelines" are the personal opinions and reasoning of an isolated fool who must concoct these feel-good nostrums to justify their obscene public paid salery.
Not a whiff of research or any other science went into such highly speculative and pretentious baffle gab.
I want the useless mutt who wrote this ludicrous social science fiction fired and out looking for a real job - actually working a real outside their whitebread bubble, a job with real minorities - and see first hand how such phony liberal bootlicking disgust the minorities its focused at - they feel uncomfortable being treated as if they are some pompous liberal's pet social project, they don't want to be treated different because of their color/race/ethnicity.

Well, at least you guys made it a bit further, so you have that going for you.
Posted by: John at September 17, 2012 2:35 AMYou can't say "a Durham School Board lunatic". You have to say, "a person with a serious mental illness, from the Durham School Board".
Posted by: nv53 at September 17, 2012 2:43 AMWhat is the politically correct term for second generation naturalized (Hungarian) Canadian persons?
Preston Manning "Reformers" !!!!!
Was the Durham School Board perhaps visited by a person from Porlock?

I think the term you're looking for is "condescending" followed by "d - bag".
mmmm Yoda says with the program you will get, powerful, is the progressive side of the force mmmm

Ah, would that it were so, Occam. I fear, however, that as I look out the window of my university office, I could identify at least a dozen or more colleagues (in a fairly small institution) who would fully approve of the document (and dozens more who would never dare say a word against them). Multiply this group by all of the universities in Canada (especially the largest ones) and can appreciate the nature of the "elite consensus" that poisons our society.
Posted by: Roseberry at September 17, 2012 8:54 AMWhy not just post "No Adjectives" signs in public places, then?
God rot these lousy mind-controller wannabes.
I suppose "inbred toothless morons" is right out then? Because that's what I think of when somebody says "Durham School Board".
Posted by: The Phantom at September 17, 2012 9:42 AMIt's lovely how language is a living thing that grows and changes to suit the times.
You've heard of "newspeak"?
It has evolved into "sphincter-thought".

Posted by: DanT at September 17, 2012 9:51 AMInteresting to juxtapose this story with BC Blue report of MacLeans magazine's fat jokes about mayor Rob Ford.
Seems some groups are more acceptable for ridicule than others these days.

Yup. And when you stop being a entity still living in a tree, come talk. (Actually, that's an insult to tree dwelling beings.Sorry).
So how about socialist jackass,or should that be idjit of the braying type?
Those clowns from the Durham School District remind me of the inbred british twits that were exaggerated and mocked by Monty Python. Or maybe the overbred and insufferable British Colonel Blimp of the inter-war period.
I hope that if we survive and can look back on these years, that we will realize just how ridiculous these self righteous, civilization destroying, idiots actually are.

Posted by: dmorris at September 17, 2012 11:24 AMIt’s best to pay attention, before long we are going to be arrested for such infractions.
It's already started in the US with the Sharia law SWAT team arrest of the Utube video poster.
All non Muslims are criminals in the west now.

Posted by: mojo at September 17, 2012 1:02 PMYesterday my wife and I walked our dog down to the near by lake. She said,"Oh look at all the Canada geese". I replyed "No those are geese from Canada". She rolled her eyes at me and said "Stop being a smart ass".

Posted by: Ghost of Ed at September 17, 2012 1:34 PMThese morons can't even get their own terminology right. According to the politically correct moonbats one is supposed to use the word "person" as a gender neutral descriptor for a member of the species homo sapiens. "Person" exhibits extreme gender bias with the built in assumption that one is dealing with male progeny and the correct term should be "persibling".
Once they have the unwashed masses speaking their vernacular their indoctrination into the cult of stupid has come full circle.

Excellent observation.
They haven't thought of that 'bias' yet, Loki! The rabid PCers (news yappers, writers for pay) are not the sharpest knives in the drawer; the reason anyone pays any attention to their babble is because they are in the drawer.
Posted by: Jema54 at September 17, 2012 10:23 PMShawn, shouldn't that be "@$$ of smart"?
(joking)
The word, "man" comes from the Old English word, "menn" meaning to think. Vir (and its related words) comes from the Latin word for man.
I realise thinking and men are anathema to the politically correct which is why they want to not only control language but obliterate exactness and identity.
