What I simply cannot understand* is these morons in Nova Scotia with Obama/Biden 08 stickers on their cars. These are the same sort of people who think yanks are just horrible and should go away, and that Rick Mercer's talking to Americans is insightful satire and so on. I wonder if it's occurred to them that noone in Maine is driving around with "Vote Mulcair!" plastered on his vehicle.

BTW, there is no end to the political stupidity of certain people. Recently I was in a scuzzy part of town, about a block away from the bar where that gay activist was murdered by a mental patient recently. There are posters everywhere about some "rally" to STOP THE BUDGET CUTS! and thereby SAVE DEMOCRACY! Why on earth should people who unquestioningly equate "democracy" with "free money" - who literally think the two notions are interchangeable - be allowed to vote?
