The Tolerant Left

Tracking the Southern Poverty Law Center;

“Isn’t that exactly what happened in Cleveland?” I asked. “These five men, all linked with Occupy Wall Street, attempted to blow up a bridge as an overture to the wholesale destruction of Cleveland, Ohio, and in the name of anarchism. They also looked to blow up the Republican convention.”

“They were anarchists,” he repeated.

“Yes?”

He paused. “We’re not really set up to cover the extreme Left.”

We're doomed. Seriously, we're doomed.

and they get paid by your tax dollars!!

The left can do no wrong, even the extreme left is providing a much needed service by raising awareness...don't cha know..?

Posted by: syncrodox at May 5, 2012 12:34 PM

Tell me honestly:
If Romney wins, will he have the guts to put down the anarchists?
Is there no law that can halt this? Like treason and hanging?

Posted by: gellen at May 5, 2012 1:01 PM

Bottom line. What do you expect? They are our enemy and the friends of our enemies.

Related, sort of, catch Mark Steyn's hilarious explanation of why the Democretins run America here:

From the National Review article.

'I left it there, but I couldn’t help feeling that there was a little bit of a syllogism going on; that being that “Left” equals “good,” and “Right” equals “bad,” and therefore anything “Left” couldn’t be “bad” unless it were infiltrated by the “Right.”'

This says it all and is a pattern that the Bolsheviks began in the early 1900s. Anyone right of the extreme left is bad. Libby would approve.

Howard Hughes

Clipped your toenails lately..?..germs...

Posted by: syncrodox at May 5, 2012 2:04 PM

The Southern Poverty Law Center is essentially the Klu Klux Klan in drag. The only difference is the object of their hatred.

Posted by: robins111 at May 5, 2012 2:10 PM

Howard Hughes said: "...the valid root causes of the Occupy movement..."

Oh, you mean laundered money from the White House?

It should be noted that the SPLC is still very big into gun control as well, so really they're all about ignoring violence from the Left while making sure nobody can shoot back.

DemocRats, basically.

Why does the occupy movement think the solution for everything is to force everyone to pay more taxes?

and while we're on the subject of unbiased media coverage...pity msnbc's shills don't just quit and go work directly for the great effeminator...then there might be a little fairness in the media

Ed Schultz, MSNBC: His timing is terrific, but he’s going this way, Bill, because he has to. Because of Citizen’s United he’s not going to be able to raise the kind of money that they are going to throw at him, so the President brilliantly is using the bully pulpit –

Bill Maher: I’ve done my part, Ed. You’ve got more money than me Ed. Just saying.

Schultz: He is brilliantly putting them on the defensive. And he has —

Maher: I like how you side-stepped that one.

Schultz: You don’t think he is?

Maher: No, I do. I think you should give some money. Anyway —

Schultz: They won’t let me. I can’t give money.

Maher: You can’t give money.

Schultz: Where I work, I’m not allowed to give money. I can’t give political money to anybody.

Maher: To even the Super PAC?

Schultz: Not even to the Super PAC. I can’t give money. It’s the standards of practice of where I work. If I could, I would. Damn right I would.

but if someone DOES give money....it better be to an 'approved' charity...seriously, how does this twit stay on the air ? can you imagine the howls if someone questioned 'bama's donating ?

Maher to Romney: Giving to your ‘ridiculous church’ doesn’t count as charity

of course he then compounds it by suggesting that the Africans the missionaries go to are cannibals...where's the outrage from the jacksons and sharptons ?

...Spending millions of dollars each year to send proselytizing twenty-something missionaries all over the world is, Maher said, kind of a waste of money. Perhaps the missionaries should “save the book and the tie” and offer themselves to the people of famine-ravaged Namibia as food....

I see Howard Hughes is still as loony as in his Las Vegas days. Let me see. The valid root cause of the Sphinx was a contingency of WWI Jewish veterans. Tied it together nicely. Now call the home and tell them where you are.

To busy looking under rocks for far right Imaginary Nazis.
Besides its unpalatable to go after ones own ideological bed mates.

Shawn "I see you folks here don't get what Howard Hugh's point was."

Since the Occupy folks are simply anti-social buttwipes I am spared the need to categorize them further.

"... the SPLC only tracks those who commit violence or who seek to destroy whole systems in the name of an ideology ..."

The communists would be at the head of that line.

“We’re not really set up to cover the extreme Left.”

All they have to do is to buy a mirror.

Posted by: nv53 at May 6, 2012 12:59 AM

No Revenant, it merely a wise application of resources. The SPLC concerns itself with US politics mostly and the extreme right in the US (anyone to the right of Olympia Snow) constitutes about 45% of the population while the extreme left (not sure how far out they are, but Che Guvera is moderate leftist idol) is only a miniscule fraction of one percent of the population.

Posted by: max at May 6, 2012 1:45 PM

The southern poverty law center is set up to cover for the extremist left, not the other way around.

It's funny how splc thinks that neo nazis are right wing extremists, when in fact there more extremist left than the occupy marxists.

National ""Socialism"" that United States newest economic model, but it's okay the demopublicans know what's best for Amerika
