An Anarchists' Fashion Guide

anarchist-labels-600x465.jpg

Original caption: "The modern northwestern anarchist has an embarrassment of riches to choose from. You can see every combination from the easily oh-so-wearable Nike/Gap/North Face ensemble to a full-body monochromatic jumpsuit over the course of a rebellious year. Fine tailoring has been outsourced all over the world - from China, Indonesia and even Argentina - to keep prices in line and will never go out of fashion. Be it May Day or a WTO conference, scrupulous conglomerates have survived the revolution in outdoor anarchist clothing to kit you out for a proper 21st-century uprising!"

For sure, the working poor are generally very happy in their skins. These idiots would have you believe that they care about the downtrodden. Maybe a little Sunday School was needed in their lives. Or at least a basic course of morals.

Or as in Montreal where the students/unionists/usual suspects wanted to have a nude march to protest future tuition hikes, etc. and ended up dressed in red underwear, red paint and red socks over private parts.

Howard Hughes >

"....SDA still fails to look at the big picture, the economic-social-political consequences of extremely concentrated wealth compared to grinding hopeless poverty for the masses."

The big picture?

A bunch of useless middle class college dropouts smashing in store windows and grunge camping out in front of banks, is not exactly an “economic-social-political consequence” the way you think.

Whatever happens let’s not envision them becoming peacefully politically active by marching on the Whitehouse where actual change can occur. In fact it can only occur from the Whitehouse, outside of a full on bloody revolution. Why aren’t they at the Whitehouse?

Oh that’s right the Tea Party tried that peaceful change approach and were shouted/ screamed down in favor of the street violence and pooping in the park approach.

If there ever was the “bloody revolution” that these little crappers think they can effect, they will most definitely be on the losing side of it in a very bad way for themselves.

The big picture, pleeeeease, where do you people come from?

Posted by: Knight 99 at May 4, 2012 12:01 PM

well, howie, I suppose all the business owners could just shut their doors and retire comfortably on their concentrated wealth and throw everyone out of a job...or you could grow up and see that the government can't hand YOU a cheque if nobody gives them the money first...gawd, what are we teaching in schools today ? basic math sure as heck isn't part of it...now go play with your rocks, I'm sure there's a nice locally owned coffee shop with a new window that needs a fresh breaking so a local glazier can make a few bucks from the redistribution of the wealth...face it, if you don't want to work, then you shouldn't have anything that others worked for...and degrees in Patagonain basket weaving don't pay off student loans so don't take any out and you won't need anything redistributed to you.

Healthcare, housing, schooling, AND name brands are a basic human right, especially for those under 30.

Posted by: Rick at May 4, 2012 12:31 PM

Similar to US Army Grunts in Vietnam wearing peace symbols on their war gear while burning down hootch's in some ville during a search and destroy mission.
A symbol for peace while committing acts of war is the same as trashing a bank or big business while wearing their products which if not stolen put money and advertisement right in the hands of the ones they scream they hate so much.
We call this action "Anal retention" around here.

Too bad Howie missed the big experiment for seventy years in the former Soviet Union that was all about addressing the concerns he seems to identify with. I'm sure he would have enjoyed seeing the final results, that is, unless he would have been one of the tens of millions that paid with their lives for the experiment, or, one of those who was more equal than others and enjoyed the fruits of the slave labour.

There is more than one person posting on this thread who's family had nothing when they came to this country and through persistence and hard work accomplished something.

Get a job!

Probably one of the striking teachers from BC taking a family emergency day-off, when he was finished he jumped into his Prius and drove back to east Vancouver.

Because its all about being "oppressed".

Howard Hughes

"consequences of extremely concentrated wealth "

Seem to have accumulated on their persons.
These are not the poor crying out, but the entitled spoiled. Read some history chum. Most revolutionaries came from Rich families that ended up killing Millions of the real poor. Just to relieve their angst or send these coddled crybabies looking for a cause to celebrate their egos.

Revnant Dream >

“Most revolutionaries came from Rich families that ended up killing Millions of the real poor.”

Bingo!

The point of this Occupy Movement is pretty obvious, funded by Soros & Friends and it conveniently completely ignores the Whitehouse. Duh, for those that can’t figure out that this is a manufactured domestic “crisis” meant to create civil unrest and these idiots are the patsy’s that are going to get their skulls split open for their help in the matter.

The big picture indeed.

Howard refuses to admit the greatest concentartion of wealth exited in Soviet Russia and now Fascist China.

Free market laisez fair capitalism is a system which distributes wealt to the most number of individuals.

If Howard the Duck wants to lay blame for capitlism failing to distribute wealth and promote monopoly or oligopoly, I would remind him that we have not seen pure free market capitalism in this nation since the late 19th century when bearr demand notes and the gold standard were eliminated by government working for monopolists who wanted to run a monitary system based in fractional reserve and debt issue fiat currency.

Even with these banking/finance leaches sucking the life blood out of productivity, we have stll made more people wealthy than any other economic system.

True prosperity will come with a return to hard currency issued debt free and the end of the semi command economy we have sunk into.

Cross post from "Julia" thread:

Yes, Ken, I saw that Occupy cretin on Hannity last night too: I was prepared for stupid, but that guy’s deranged!

He actually asserted that it was the NPD that had sent in the rapists to Zucotti Park, but he w/couldn’t provide any proof. He swatted aside all the facts about violence and crime.

What he was willing to admit is that he wants EVERYTHING “FREE”—as in provided for zilch pay-back: post-secondary education (paid for by the government and the school—but he didn’t even know who’s paying for the degree he’s apparently pursuing: I’m sure he’s no clue what he’s “studying”); a job provided; health care, including dental; a free house, etc., including, probably, food and transportation. In fact, this deluded idiot wanted, for nothing, everything that Hannity mentioned. Honestly, I began to think that this developmentally-challenged jerk must be under the influence of some drug: how about Oba-mind-bending pills? Hannity was finally so disgusted with this parasite, he dismissed him out of hand: he waved him off the set and looked away. That’s exactly what such an entitled ignoramus deserved.

“Adult toddlers” like this are now legion in the West: our “we-give-no-commensurate-consequences (because the state won’t allow us to)” parents, teachers, police, and even military mean that the little barbarians, which all toddlers are before they’re civilized, remain barbarians. Like the aliens, in Men in Black, a critical mass of adult-looking humans are, in reality, cry babies/bullies in adult bodies. When are the legitimate authorities going to do something about this? E.g., Why are marauding Black Bloc vandals, aboriginals, college students, sports fans, Muslims, English scum, etc. allowed to wear face masks, while taunting and bullying law abiding citizens and the police, and breaking the law every which way? When are law abiding citizens going to regain their rights? At the moment, the barbarians are given more respect and protection than the rest of us, their victims. (I recently talked to a police officer about the Occupy hoodlums. He said that the police had to be very careful because they didn’t want to “hurt” any of them. I said, “Be my guest, and the longer you allow these miscreants to threaten and actually hurt the rest of us, the less the law abiding public respects you.” He was sympathetic, but he's also under orders . . .)

Our “leaders” are spineless and despicable. As long as these highly paid apparatchiks are AWOL, on our time and dime, the prognosis is abysmal.

Terry, it might come to that—unless it's already too late. Things are unravelling faster and faster: as Yeats said, "The centre cannot hold." Here’s his prophetic poem, “The Second Coming”:

“Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

“Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: a waste of desert sand;
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Wind shadows of the indignant desert birds.

“The darkness drops again but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?”

Kyrie eleison.

It is my opinion that anyone wearing a Mask has made a statement of deadly intent.. They don't want to be identified as having Constitutional Rights, hiding acts including my murder..

I will blow the sock puppet to HELL...a lethal threat is met with an equal deadly reality...

"...the economic-social-political consequences of extremely concentrated wealth compared to grinding hopeless poverty for the masses. because that's what is store (pun intended) folks !!!"

Actually, troll-brain has it right for a change: another Maobama presidency would redistribute wealth from the majority of producers to the takers, so that most americans would join the "99%", excepting obama, the kleptocrat politicians, hollywood drones, and other favoured leftoid types.

Grim future, indeed.
