Not Waiting For The Asteroid

[A]pparently the Reuters reporters failed to fact check the Democratic talking points they were given before running them as a news story: So far, Reuters has published five separate corrections to the story (all noted at the bottom), in each case dealing with a factual assertion in the original that was blatantly false. An hour ago, there had only been three corrections published, so we should probably stay tuned for yet more.

I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked!

Any resemblance between Reuters and an honest, professionally thorough, unbiased news agency is purely coincidental and unintentional.

BTW, do we all remember the Reuters scandal of Photoshopped photos from the 2006 Lebanon War? And Reuters' lame excuses when they were caught? Plus ça change...

Wow there are enough democRATS to keep Rotters in business. I couldn't imagine there are that many democRATs that can read.

Well my opinion of Reuters journalists is confirmed. They are the CBC news of the print media. How many years of higher education do you need to copy and paste the Democrat talking points and put your name on the byline?

Thankfully we have Bonokoski, Blatchford, Levant, Lilley et al to cut through the official BS and keep us informed.

The fact that an MSM Lieberal "news" organization would do easily throw away their ethics in order to libel a Latino politician gives you a small indication of what will happen to a white male GOP presidential candidate later this year.

Saul Alinsky & Karl Marx would be so proud of their disciples.

Hmmm, one guy to write the original piece, two more to edit and correct it.

Thinking Reuters probably didn't get their money's worth out that one.

Reuters...They are the CBC news of the print media...

Ploksh! Gut-shot. Would hurt anything with a conscience.

History starts today. Paint in whatever background suits the narrative.

I love seeing the demorats so terrified of the 2012 elections.

They have pissed off 40% of the independents and we know we are going to bury them.

An avalanche is coming and it has nothing to do with climate or snow.

Isn't Reuters the "Green Helmet Guy" organization?

Posted by: FREE at January 27, 2012 7:56 AM

Robert W., my only quibble with your comment is the fact that nothing drives liberals nuttier than a minority that thinks for themselves. They tend to attack them even more than white males.

Getting caught will not change anything at Reuters. Being supporters of the left and users of the left's misinformation tactics is in their DNA.

Posted by: Ken (Kulak) at January 27, 2012 9:00 AM

Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't Reuters now owned by the Thompson family empire, part of the Irving Oil, Power Corp..Liberal cabal that controls Canada and hates conservatives?
Just asking...

Good lord, sometimes I think we could read nothing but the Onion and be as well informed.

Rubio voted against Santomeyer and Obamacare says the original version. I didn't know members of the Florida Legislature had a vote. He didn't become a US Senator until after the November 2010 elections.

Lying sacks of ... .
