LOL is brilliant . . . I want the shirt
Posted by: Fred at January 23, 2012 4:59 PMHes right, as shallow as it sounds people are visual beings. Mostly pretty Women & tall men get better jobs. Perhaps its descended from when we where plains hunters. I know it affects me unconsciously.
Women have known this for ever. Maybe Newt or others should be listening. Create their own brands,
I remember Trudeau with his iconic red rose of socialism. Which became in time A middle finger exposed to the Canadian Nation. Particularly the WEST.
LOL! it's an Obama-Nation(tm)...
When a logo becomes a punchline...

This is where I first saw the 'socialism' poster with "O's" face painted like the Joker's. Made me laugh hard.
The Daryl Worley song is not bad either!
Posted by: Derek at January 23, 2012 5:20 PMThis is precisely what the Liberal Party of Canada did in their attempt to brand themselves as Canada itself. The red color of the Canadian "logo" flag is the same red used by the Liberal Party. The use of the phrase "real Canadians" when their supporters talk about policies.

Posted by: DanBC at January 23, 2012 8:24 PMClassic Bernays psychological marketing.
We've all been manipulated by this quasi and frontal subliminal psychological messaging. Only a very small segment of the public has the critical thinking processes to resist this conditioning - so what buddy there says is true. Like it or not, whether you think it's immoral to manipulate the public this way, it works. wish there were enough critical thinkers that it didn't work but we can ony pray that is a future reality.
But it can be used for a good cause - remember the Obama joker poster will forever connect Obama as a twisted "socialist" at a very deep level in the public exposed to it = devestating!
Posted by: Occam at January 23, 2012 8:28 PMI have my doubts promoting mass hysteria is a way to prevent it. Leftists are good at it because they don't mind lying.
Posted by: fiddle at January 23, 2012 8:39 PMAhhhhh, the cute simple lefties just love the sizzle. Myself, I am a steak man.
Reminds me of a great scene from Indiana Jones, when the good Dr has to pick the correct grail. The wisest know that simple is best.
It's a truth that so many are so easily fooled/persuaded with lifes fluff.
Posted by: Jason at January 24, 2012 12:22 AMPersonally, I have never seen the symbol, logo, whatever, before and now that I have, I am unimpressed, though I can see the difference between the donkey and the elephant logos.
Posted by: larben at January 24, 2012 12:52 AMIf they vote for that long legged mack daddy, they deserve to have that logo stamped on their forehead.
Posted by: Painzdrifter at January 24, 2012 11:03 AMNot showing the National Socialist Workers Party logo was a huge mistake. Nazi's don't like someone else's "bad taste", cry me a river.
Beat them over the head with who they are.
Posted by: richfisher at January 24, 2012 2:08 PMRemember, Democrats are easily swayed by shiny lights, music, and glittery things. And crying. If you can cry, they'll vote for you. All conservatives do is talk, talk, talk about issues, ideas, concepts. Borrrrrrrrr-ing.
