The "Unbiased" MSM at Work

Ain't Piers Morgan such a cordial and brilliant host?!

Dennis Miller shares his thoughts.

Piers Morgan, Heather Mallick with short hair.

The smart guys at CNN thought, hey it comes with a plummy accent, what's not to like. Kid Rock is a good guy by the way; he has no problem with hunting, entertaining the troops, and with NOT offering an opinion about stuff he knows absolutely nothing about.

Posted by: nold at January 12, 2012 9:31 AM

I'll say this. Brietbart, in my opinion is right about the Tea Party. Villified by the MSM as racists and radicals for wanting to reduce the size and scope of government, pay off debt etc. The progressives are left wanting, same ol,same ol.

Dennis Miller has been such a small, breath of fresh air coming out of the cesspool called Hollywood, he must be such a despised person amongst those pedophile depraved not enough adjectives types that infest the covers of every bed around there. I have tried twice to watch this Piers fellow, obviously he was peer reviewed by the likes of Rosie Joy and Oprah, but lets also look at their ratings. It is over lefties, you had a great run, you drove economies of great countries over the cliff, you ruined the education systems, you helped break the healthcare systems, you have devastated the news business and think your so smart and smarmy within your leftie cocooned newsrooms, but your asses get handed to you daily in red ink and poor Neilsens, truly, your type is demented.

Piers Morgan is a worthless POS. He is neck deep in scandal all the time. When he worked at the Daily Mirror newspaper he published a fake news story with photos showing British soldiers abusing prisoners. And he was also involved in the phone hacking scandal while at the Mirror. He has no integrity and no moral compass. Not surprising that CNN hired him. They have become the same type of slander media as other leftist news agencies determined to keep the Dems in power despite how destructive and dangerous they are to democracy.

He's an absolutely tremendous Alinsky-ite. The UK has become renowned for producing this sort of robot; what a sickening sign of the times.

Dennis Miller's radio show is great stuff, agreed. I'm a paid subscriber so I can get the podcast and listen whenever. Great mix of guests (political, sports/showbiz) and just lots of fun.

Posted by: Kathy Shaidle at January 12, 2012 10:15 AM

Piers should consider reshaping himself into someone who has captured a viewing audience because of his depth, say, for instance, CBC's George Stromboulopoulos

Posted by: Grant at January 12, 2012 10:23 AM

This is merely what leftists do. If you start making sense and they start losing an argument they go nuclear and personal. Then they call you a racist/homophobe/fascist and stomp away in a huff.

Piers Who?

Posted by: Texas Canuck at January 12, 2012 11:08 AM

AFAIC Miller i the same kind of ignorant loudmouthed a-hole as Morgan. MSM is MSM Miller is as mainstream partisan policy pimp as you get.

Every time I hear/see Piers Morgan I'm painfully reminded of my years spent working in American companies based in NYC, Atlanta and Chicago. Senior execs in these companies had a serious 'blind spot' to ANYBODY with ANY British accent. It seemed that merely speaking with ANY British accent (including lower class Cockney, Geordie, etc.) magically granted the speaker an additional 50+ points of IQ and an additional 50 points of "credibility", even if they were obvious morons to those of us actually DOING the work!

The CBC suffered the same malady for decades; every snotty Brit (especially if he was as gay as a French trombone) was automatically seen by CBC English senior execs as a God among mere mortals.

A fascinating TEST of the power of accents is to listen to and evaluate the SAME document or speech spoken with a British accent and then with a southern or western U.S. accent (think Churchill speaking Bush's words, and vice versa) ... the MSM is routinely blinded by their "accent bias".

The good news? - we're 'voting' with our remotes, and Piers Morgan is ignored to death.

Recently had a conversation with a good friend. He's a retired high school teacher. Anyways we were discussing s subject ( too long to go into here)
and he said that something was true because he heard it "on the news". I asked him what news, and he said "Piers Morgan Show".
That's the kind of viewer this anal orifice attracts.

Posted by: Ralph at January 12, 2012 11:28 AM

@Davers6
Well if that is the case then Karl Pilkington from An Idiot Abroad should try getting a job at CNN as well! I'm sure he'd get a lot more respect there than he gets from Ricky Gervais.

It must be demeaning to be a British water-boy for a US president with inherent Afro-Marxist contempt for the British.

Good one John. Accurate and funny as he!!. I'm still laughing.

Posted by: Patsplace at January 12, 2012 12:57 PM

Given the numbers for Morgan's show, it seems 8 seconds is about as much time as any viewer can stomach when he is on the air.

"Piers Morgan, Heather Mallick with short hair."

Close...but Morgan has that $hit-eating grin....

Yeah. I share that sentiment. My folks were Brits and that snotty, smarmy persona makes me turn green (not with envy). You really wouldn't like me then.....serenity now!

Naw. He's not that bright. He is the biggest victim of his own image. Then too, it's sorta like the J-street thing....leftism is a mental condition.

Dennis Miller is married to a Canadian gal. I think it keeps him grounded in reality and his compass pointed north.

Posted by: cal2 at January 12, 2012 2:15 PM

Like Kathy Shaidle, I also have a subscription to Dennis Miller's podcast. It's the only one I could justify paying for. He's a superb breath of fresh air and in no way affiliated with any particular political party. Fact is, his views, much like Adam Carolla's, don't fall into any particular silo. Both of these gentlemen are independent thinkers. I often agree with them though sometimes I don't.

Piers Morgan

Send him back to England on an Iceberg.

Posted by: Revnant Dream at January 12, 2012 5:57 PM

If it were not for SDA .... I'd never even have heard of Piers Morgan or anything done on CNN .... thanks for .... well not thanks for sharing the news that this worthless sac-o-crap is just that.

Posted by: OMMAG at January 12, 2012 6:20 PM

Piers Morgan's interview of Newt Gingrich was interesting and different from the usual political pap. (So sue me:)

Posted by: chutzpahticular at January 12, 2012 11:57 PM

I stopped watching CNN a long time ago.
These links and clips to serious issues is as close as I get. Mr. Morgan has NO audience. It does not excuse his abominable behavior towards Andrew one whit!- He should be fired. CNN should be fired.
Just WHO continues to pay for that nonsense?

Posted by: Snowbunnie at January 13, 2012 2:10 AM

And WHY do Michael Reagan and Andrew Brietbart or ANY conservative do ANY interviews on CNN? OR ABC, CBS, NBC, et al.?? Just like letting them host the Republican debates. Equates to giving your enemies rifles, loaded, aimed at your house. Geez!
OR just like letting every enviro whacko show up at hearings regarding a pipeline in CANADA when they have nothing whatever to do with it.
I love Dennis Miller.
