Why do I suspect Goldstone's UN cheque bounced....

And THAT folks, was the work of the much reviled Stephen Harper and his government!

The UN is a failed institution,whether the Left wants to believe it or not,everything they touch ends up corrupted.

If Pastor Jones is responsible for the Afstan beheadings then let's hold Goldstone and the Left responsible for all the killing that goes on around the world in the name of the Religon Of Peace.

Let's have them arrested.

The Palestinians have been usefull pawns for surrounding Arab dictatorships to use for decades. Without a Arab-Israeli conflict they're own legitimacy might come into question by their citizens. The Saudis are the biggest perpetrators.

I'm always amused at how the NSM and the powers that be trot out studies from the UN to back every demented public/foreign policy imaginable. Every time I told the UN has determined that such and such is a victim of aggression I wear a snide knowing smirk and recall the 3 most aggressive military nations on earth populate the UN's security council. They call the shots on UN policy that favors their interests. That leaves the rest of the UN as a make work project for cultural marxists to scold decadent democracies or small insignificant nations for their politically incorrect faux pas.

My God when will this UN charade end!

nemo2, Goldstone's remorse is a late late to contain the damage he has done. Just think all the rabid lefties here in Canada and elsewhere that have used his faulty report as a basis to come right out into the open with their Antisemitism.

I think it's time that Canada stop paying its UN dues and tried to convince other western democracies to do the same thing. I suspect that the only way to shut down the continual nonsense from the UN is to close the purse strings.

Goldstone has always been a nimrod.
Describing him as a respected jurist should read:
"Self hating Jewish , guilty white man with law degree"
He also excoriated any white person possible and tarred us all with the same brush as head of the constitutional court in South Africa.
As South Africans and Israelis we perhaps have many sins to atone for , but there is no excuse for what the Americans call "just makin' S%^t up".

Justice Richard Goldstone's repudiation of the notorious Report bearing his name is somewhat late in its appearance and will do little to reverse the damage it has caused to Israel's heroic attempt to fight a completely justifiable and moral war against the terrorist Hamas organization.
Goldstone's Washington Post op-ed stikes me as ironically comical and is reminds me of the late Gilda Radner's SNL character "Emily Litella", who would pontificate on a subject--only to finally come to the realization that she had gotten it all wrong. At that point she would dismiss her position by simply saying, "Never mind."
Goldstone's initial columny against Israel's IDF, alas, is unfortunately no cause for laughter.

Judge Richard Goldstone has consigned himself to the annals of historical evil. Well and he is now admittedly, craven and lickspittle.
Hmmm, Goldstone for whatever the reason, has decided to jump back aboard a sinking Israeli ship-of-state and live with the rats.

All it takes to change ones tune is relying on an internal investigation by the IDF. I'm certain they were impartial.
