When the two men examined the original data from which this claim was derived – compiled by the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit and the Met Office’s Hadley Centre – it clearly showed 2010 as having been cooler than 2005 (and 1998) and equal to 2003. It emerged that, for the purposes of the press release, the data had been significantly adjusted.Comparing the actual data for each year, from 2001 to 2010, with that given in the press release shows that for four years the original figure has been adjusted downwards. Only for 2010 was the data revised upwards, by the largest adjustment of all, allowing the Met Office to claim that 2010 was the hottest year of the decade.
History has no value if it cannot be revised to meet the political needs of today.

I would still dare any political party to out-right state that Global warming is a fraud - only one that comes close is Wildrose Party in Alberta [they said they would look at data.] Other than them, I guess we are still going to have policies - such as banning incandescent light bulbs - given by our governments. Governments refuse to look at the facts.

By the way: I followed you advice and mailed Dr. Fruit fly one of the burnt-out bulbs and asked him to take care of it, lol. I told him that we do not have a “hazardous waste” place where I live – since we are not permitted to put them in our landfills [garbage dumps.] I hope Dr. Fruit Fly and his enviroMENTALists get thousands of these, lol.

Lord Monckton arrived back on Twitter yesterday with a bang after being away for a while. The flood of absolutely vile trolls that started after him was something to see.
I made a couple comments to him along the lines that he must be doing something right to have beaten Andrew Brietbart in hatefull troll posts in just one day.
I spent the rest of the day blocking some of those same trolls, last count was around 20 in around 8 hours.

I have a couple of cases of incandescent light bulbs in the most useful wattages. Enough to last the rest of my life. I advise all to do the same if you can still find any.
