Posted by Kate at October 22, 2010 1:02 PMIn the conclusion to a bizarre trial — in which the prosecution already called for the acquittal of the defendant — Wilders’ lawyer Abraham Moszkowicz today asked for dismissal of the three judges, and his request was approved by the dismissal commission of the court. Now, the trial will have to start over from the beginning.
The judge who talked about Wilders trial with the upcoming expert witness was unbelievably indiscreet, but it worked out best for Wilders.
I think the retrial will be over very quickly with an acquittal.
One small step for freedom............

Best part is that the testimony will be driving Geert's point about Islam home again, and again, and again.
Geert is showing us how lawfare is to be played from the back game.
LOL
Veryi nteresting article. I suspect there may not even be a second trial, as this would expose inter-connected corruption and bias among judges. Too much embarrassment and perhaps accountability for some powerful Dutchmen.
AGAIN, thank God for the Anglosphere's Jury System, a bulwark of our freedom! You can find many such biased judicial activist idiots like those Dutchmen on the bench in North America. Nevertheless, a defendant's fate is in the hands of twelve ordinary Citizens, not in the hands of some idiotic, biased, I'm-here-to-make-the-law activist lefty judge. (HRTs excepted.)

Posted by: Bill Elder at October 22, 2010 2:06 PMDave in PA, European Inquisition style courts function just like the Human Rights Tribunals.
Main difference is that in a European court a defendent can ask for dismissal of a/the judge(s)/prosecutor(s) and can ask for an appeal of the verdict/sentence.
It's nice to see proverbial egg on the face of the leftist establishment, but I feel sorry for Wilders having to go through this all over again.

The judge completely 'knackered' the case...what a bunch of hapless wonders. Your supposed to be an impartial tribunal, not hobnobbing with the witnesses.

"Also interesting in this case is the exposure of an informal network of activist judges and other leftist individuals, among them one of the most outspoken anti-Zionists in Holland, who have frequent dinner parties among each other. They are free to do so, but sitting judges should be kept to some standards."
Nice to see the lid getting blown off the Leftist-Islamist-Anti Semite convergence.

Posted by: ET at October 22, 2010 4:17 PMThe judge needs to be fired, he/she it crossed an ethical line that should never be crossed. Eurabia should drop the charges and those behind the political persecution should go hug an Islamists because it doesn't matter if he wins or loses the fascists bullying left have been exposed as tyrants and despots and the enemy of freedom loving people.
